kd - well said. I can speak from personal experience that if you stay on a fiscal conservative message you will not only win but absolutely trounce the opposition. (Local tax issue. We opposed it. 86% of voters told the city to stuff the tax up their ass. And this is in a heavily democratic area. And we were Republicans behind the issue.) 2010-08-29 17:22:55
