There is another relevant point with this crap of going "carbon neutral":
you can't win a war with battery (or 'clean H2') powered trucks, tanks or planes. If you destroy sufficient civilian capabilities of producing and storing fuel, you won't have enough strategic resources that you can convert from civilian usage to military use to fight a war. Additionally, you won't have enough engineers left that can actually build and maintain fossil fuel engines when you need to crank out thousands of trucks and tanks.
