...they CAN in actuality be that stupid.

They're getting what they want, and they're getting away with it. What's stupid about that?

Just paid car insurance. Up 21% in a single year. No accidents/claims in the time frame. Wonderful, everything is just wonderful. Yikes!

Maybe the Feds did figure it out. They figured out the private debt bomb.

The least cause-a-revolution way to disarm it is to inflate your way out, but raise rates to force people to get out of unservicable debt and not take on more... with the added bonus that it may eventually force congress to balance its budget but not ideally not until most people have avoided bankrupting themselves.

The only people getting fucked are the people who didn't take on stupid amounts of debt, so lol, whats the harm :P

An 11lb Butterball turkey was being sold around $54.00 here in PA last week. I walked away.

The store brand was about $33.00 for the same.

A simple 10 lb goose was $150.00.

Lies on top of compounded lies from the government on inflation.

Wow @Vernonb

Our local Meijer chain is selling turkeys for $0.59 per lb.

I have a solution @Rollformer .

Simply don't pay that $4000.
A man your age should have health expenses at zero if he lives right. Anyway, some small portion of that can cover most minor unplanned things. Find doctors who work with you for cash at reasonable prices.

I do it, with problems and older.

Wonder if certain insurance numbers are hiding things such as people cutting coverage including on the house and cars. I realize that i can purchase my vehicles a dozen times over for what I have in a MM account. Why cover them for value or damage?

People, even astute, get into habits.

Even our Karl one day realized that one does not really need toilet paper.

I am working on electricity, old hack among some of my cousins...
