Yes, Elon YOUR Brain Fell Out

I understand.

It does not make me happy.

I do not speak of it with my DW (or pretty much anyone else outside this forum)

Whatever 'conservative', 'law and order', even Right Thinking individual or solution might appear, it is but a tantalizing will-o-the-wisp vapor. Often it is hiding the enemy, often it is well intentioned but flawed. Politics will not solve the issue. Human nature will not solve the issue. The future, by itself, is bleak.

I grieve.

I endure.

I persevere with Truth until there is nothing left to lose.

Having done all... I will stand.

Life only ends once...

Used to have a Twatter account. Miss my Twatter account. Loved trolling libtards and finding random, interesting folks to follow.

Finally got perma-banned after innumerable Twatter-Gulag banishments because I asked a Senator if his was a commie or just a retard. Apparently, that was disparaging towards the mentally ill, which I unfortunately do agree with; there is no stigma (or there shouldn't be) for being mentally deficient, but there should be a stigma for being a Fing commie.

@Lt.slothrop, via Lewfalo,

Yes, Musk moved the ball forward. He also punted on 2nd down on the opposition's 15 yard line. How to assess net-net? Dunno. No score?

Thinking that the US is nothing but duds is a mistake. Full of duds? Lots. But, the worst rattlesnake is mostly, vastly non-toxic. Small consolation to the stuckee. But, but??!

Social conditioning in tenths of degrees is still conditioning. The key to movement among masses is impedance matching. Just because people haven't become street activists does not mean that their conscious thoughts and eyeballs are directed at other than a common objective. In fact, there is remarkable consistency and constancy among the masses.

The glass filled to mid-point: is it half full or half empty? Well, consider something other than a static snapshot. Is it emptyING or fillING? Major difference there. Don't be despondent that twitter or Tucker has not solved the American problem. What has become evident this year over last is that very many more people are becoming potential allies in a common purpose.

Let's stay constructive. Brothers can fight--even punch hard--but, they still have to have each other's back when it counts.

@Lt.slothrop

Excluding the 2nd Amendment??

I've been living in Europe the past several years. It wasn't my first choice, but my wife is from there and a good woman adjusts your priorities in life. The USA makes immigration almost impossible for decent people, while simultaneously making it seemingly impossible to keep indecent people out, so Europe was more accommodating for us.

In all this time in Europe the one thing which no European who I've spoken to can wrap their head around about America is the legal gun ownership. They actually do believe it's the cause of the supposed violence problem in the USA. Simple data searches and logic prove otherwise. But it is indeed their mindset, just like it's our mindset not to understand why anyone would be against gun ownership.

I would argue it is exactly our mindset that enabled the founding of America in the first place and the things you claim to admire about it. The majority of Europeans are collectivist sheep. I might as well be blunt about it. Either that, or they are squeamish, you take your pick. The ones that weren't went to America, and that explains everything else. Sheep don't defend themselves, individualists do. And I'll be damned if I'm just doing to lie there with a boot on my neck, or be marched into a cattle car. The one with the boot and the orders feels pain just like I do, and they have a soft covering like I do too. And quite frankly, they don't expect you to fight back especially if you aren't blustering about, because the aggressors are always essentially cowards. That's why they show up with overwhelming force if they think there might be a problem. Why didn't the Germans fight back during the beginning of the Nazi regime? It was their mindset, and apparently they thought they still had something to lose. (And yes, there were plenty that went happily along with it, just like we just saw again all over the world with covid.)

I'll tell you the same that I told the Europeans I talk to. It's our culture and mindset. The guns aren't going away, it's impossible. In fact any talk of taking them just causes more gun ownership every time. Care to guess how many are from private sales alone? Makes it tough to know who has what, doesn't it? So, no one is going to be going door to door, that's another impossibility. People watch too much fiction about brave police, soldiers, etc. Well those "brave" folks are essentially like everyone else, they don't want to get hurt either. Hasn't guerrilla warfare taught that to the world by now? You cannot conquer a people that are armed and don't want to be conquered, ever. There may be a lot of casualties, but ultimately the aggressors will lose.

So if you don't understand the idea behind the 2nd Amendment, you simply don't understand how nature works. It's really the only law that isn't a figment of someone's imagination. Don't mess with someone, and don't mess with their stuff...or suffer the consequences.

I'll just say finally that if it comes to that, yeah it will be the end of America as it is constituted. So hopefully it doesn't come to that. Or I should say if it does come to that, I hope Europe has already completely crumbled long before so Europe doesn't interfere. When it's all said and done the New America can make cooperative alliances with the Global South and have some actual peace for a few hundred years.

Breaking into smaller forums such as this one may be the only way. I joined twitter, found some like-minded people and set up some alternate venues for subgroups for the day it matters. At the end of the day, any idea choke point gets captured and abused. It is just a question of when.

Geez, THAT should be a bannable offense here at TF. How in the actual fuck? I'm on the left side of the intelligence Bell Curve here and I've known it for years.

Note: exactly zero sarcasm, asshole.

PS - paragraphs are your friend.

Larp. Or something else.

Doesn't feel right.

If he's casting out of the UK then he's to be ignored.

If he's actually here and talking this syphilis laden spew he's to be squashed.

El Jefe can tell the tale.

I concur with this assessment. I think a lot of us look for a champion. The one who can take on the system, so to say. Elon ain't him. He is intelligent enough to know *how* he panders to the masses.

Yeah, he claims to be from the West (not the US) but lives in bum fuck Mongolia.

Admits he's trying to instigate action by shaming the cowardly couch-surfers into thinking about doing something.

Claims protests are the way to do it (Canadian truckers, yellow vests, Dutch farmers) but then claims they don't work. Says that compromise is the "Golden Requisite" in corporate life. How has that compromise mentality worked out for us so far?

Excoriates the keyboard warriors, then says Americans have to do it for the world, but we're too stupid and lazy to get it done. Says people wanting Musk to be impactful is lazy whining and that we should hit the streets and do it ourselves. Sounds a bit keyboard warrior-ish. You go first and show us how it's done.

Perhaps Karl could mention if he isn't actually posting from a known ISP in Mongolia and not a VPN.

Seems a bit glowie to me by mixing enough truth with incitement. How's the fishing in Virginia lieutenant?

I'm going with the assumption that "might know" = "knows". I will also take this opportunity to thank our genial host for the entertainment value he allows here at TF. Thank you, good sir. smiley

He called Mac and cheese, kraft dinner...

I would like to know, if he isn't larping, why his instinct is to denigrate and not instruct. Why he wouldn't pool together knowledge and ideas instead of fostering division.

Troll's gonna troll.
