Read this one folks:

"He’s in this jail probably having a hot breakfast when we’re out here talking about it," Kean added.

Kean also would not confirm whether Oropesa's wife is among those arrested. Oropesa's bond will be officially set at the jail by a judge Wednesday morning, Kean said.

His wife eh?

Is she an American citizen?  If she is, and CNN is reporting they are long-term together and have a child, then (1) she was almost-certainly involved in his felony entry into the United States and is thus culpable for that crime and, (2) it appears, she may be an accessory after the fact to the murders as well.

There is a regularized and legal way to enter the United States for purpose of residency -- whether temporarily or otherwise.  Anyone entering via any other means is a criminal under long-standing US law.  The first such offense is a misdemeanor but subsequent re-entries after deportation are a felony.

I'm tired of known felons committing serious offenses who are able to commit those offenses because the government refuses to prosecute and remove said felons from our nation and we, the people, refuse to demand that they either do so or we will do so and if anyone tries to stop us we will remove them from society as equally guilty.

I believe very strongly in Due Process and Equal Protection.  However, equal protection includes, because it must include, protection from thugs of all sorts including thugs within government agencies who deem citizens to be open-season style targets for thugs of all other sorts.  Such persons are equally guilty as those committing the original felony in that they both enable and in fact promote the behaviors that directly lead to the crimes.  This is no different than you driving someone to a bank for the purpose of robbing it; you get the same sentence they do, and properly so -- up to and including murder if they shoot and kill someone.

In this case we have a felon who managed to acquire and display, for several months or years, firearms despite being a felon.  He did not hide said firearms.  It is illegal for a felon, as well as someone who is in the United States as a foreign national but not a lawful permanent resident, to own or possess firearms except in a handful of very limited circumstances (e.g. someone who comes here lawfully and is hunting.)

This individual made no secret of his possession of said weapons; he was known to discharge them on a regular basis on his property and the police had been called in the past over this, as he was doing so unsafely.  As a consequence any reasonable inquiry, which they had every right to make, would have disclosed he was a previously-deported person and thus was a felon in possession of fireeams which is an immediately-arrestable offense.

Had any of the federal, state or local law enforcement agencies, including "border patrol", done their job these murders would not have happened and had his wife been arrested as an accessory to his felony entry into the United States he would have had no reason to try to come back in again because she'd be in prison.  If she was the person who bought the guns she wouldn't have been able to do so as a person with a felony record -- at least not through otherwise-legal means.

The same sort of thing happened with "A Girl in Iowa."  Nobody cared about the illegal alien who came into the United States and was illegally working here in the United States on a farm.  Said illegal murdered a young woman who was out for a jog with no provocation or other particularized reason for him to kill her.

I do not care whether the "rate" of such persons committing these serious offenses are higher or lower on a per-capita basis than those of black people, legal Hispanic residents or whites.  That is irrelevant; what is relevant and fact is that every single one of those offenses would not have happened if said persons were not here in the United States, and every single person who profited from or assisted them in coming or remaining here whether directly or indirectly is personally responsible for every single one of these murders, rapes, assaults and more.

This stops only when the people of this nation make clear that either the law is enforced equally and without favor against all these individuals -- right now -- or we the people will deem every single act of malfeasance and misfeasance to be an act in deliberate furtherance of these felonies and we will act as judge, jury and sentencing body since these employees of the government will not do their damn jobs despite knowing full well what they are and taking an oath to do so.

It is time for those of us who are citizens and are tired of this crap to make very clear to all officials of any stripe that they have two and only two choices: Enforce the law, if necessary with armed force at the border or we will, and if they continue to refuse we will hold them personally accountable as equally guilty for each and every such offense on a personal basis and enforce those penalties ourselves.  We will do so because they are equally guilty, and their choice is to either either enforce the law they took an oath to enforce or we will see to it that they will pay the identical penalty as those who commit the crimes just as you or I would if we drove said bank robber to and from the bank.

ENOUGH.

I support dropping 1000 illegals a day on the White House lawns, inside the perimeter fence. If officials say that is a problem than that might be a good conversation starter.

Based on probabilities, the obvious conclusion is that your government wants to murder you. Too bad, all we have left in this country are fat pigs waiting for slaughter. I no longer care what happens to them.

This problem unfortunately is only going to get much worse before it gets better.

We have let in Millions of illegal alien men who mostly are going to become frustrated and pissed off because there isn't the opportunity that they thought was here for them. Once the free money from the government shuts off they are either going to head back to their home countries or stay and act on their frustrations.

Fortunately, I live in an open carry state (Ohio). I hope every law-abiding citizen carries here as that will be our only defense.

The only Mexican making the news thats got the establishment all aplomb is the so called white supremacist shooter from last week. The rest of them dont seem to even register. Its time to face the the fact that our government wants these people here, and now that Title 42 has expired Im watching as I type this a news story about a group called the Central American Migrant Network who are bringing all kinds of goodies to help 10k to 20k a day successfully cross into the US. Biden loves this and all his voters do too.

Of all the "existential threats" being bandied about in the MSM and by talking heads, the reality is this: an invasion of our country over our open southern border IS *THE* existential threat to this country. Until that is fixed, nothing else matters. Period. Full stop.

Thank you KD for always telling the truth, no matter how ugly or hard to swallow it may be.

Our LEO did play catch and release with Oropesa four times. In three years we've gone from "build the wall" to "leave the door open", on the southern border.

Both political parties, along with the globalists and the super wealthy seem to be supporting this. Biden and friends have gifted us with 10 million new neighbors.

They're going to help us with our diversity problem once we supply the appropriate level of education, housing, free stuff.

I think we've lost this round. Time to regroup and develop a new strategy.

I'm shocked, shocked to find out that illegal aliens who have violated our immigration laws aren't model residents abiding by every other law of the land. We've been told since the 1965 immigration act that third worlders would make better Americans than those of European descent. Migrants, to use the language of the open border advocates to obscure the fact that said persons are violating our laws, are only here fleeing oppression, grinding poverty, and are here to enrich our lives because.... diversity. They only take jobs that Americans won't do, so we are told.

Any organization, including churches, that assist illegal aliens in getting here and or staying here should have its workers arrested as accessories to the crimes of the illegals. Where are all the cops and prosecutors who like to use asset forfeiture laws?

Although governors Abbott and Desantis likely used the migrant bussing to blue cities as a political stunt, huge numbers of illegals should be sent to Washington, AC/DC as long as they're coming across our borders. Maybe when some of our elite rulers are victimized by illegal aliens, we can have enforcement of our immigration laws.

@Greenacr, Ohioan also.

Figure if you're in the "3 C's", self defense will be a spendy proposition since the local Persecutors are against it.
That's "county wide", remember, your little suburb may still be subject to the local county which might be ruled by a large city, or even a medium city.

I guess that our commissar of homeland security and attorney general are being encouraged by the Defamation League to root out the nations crimewave caused by right wing domestic terrorist white supremacist anti semite xenophobe-homophobe-transphobes. There's too much of that going on to have time and resources to enforce inconsequential immigration laws and such.

Let someone out of favor with our ruling elites jaywalk or read too much misinformation from non-government approved sources and Merrick Garland is Johnny on the spot to try to send them to the gulag.

One of the things Trump had right.

Karl is so nailing it on this. I recall watching a case in California years ago, where a young blonde girl had been raped and murdered by an illegal, he'd already been picked up a couple of times prior for felonious sh!t, no visa or green card, nothing, and they cut this piece of sh!t loose back onto the streets MULTIPLE TIMES ('Sanctuary City' crap?), and I remember thinking, if I was the father of that little girl and finding all this out, how they cut this scumbag loose when they had EVERY opportunity to punt his criminal predator-invader ass back over the border, my rage would be breathing fire. It's so insane this stuff, and frankly, another maximally grievous issue that should be driving every red-blooded American family man into at minimum, political action.

Sorry @Lt.slothrop Trump DID NOT have it right.

He, as CIC, could have declared that an INVASION and posted the military there with orders to fire. Yes, Congress could have stopped him but would had to go on record to do so, and I bet that vote would have failed because then the NEXT murder gets hung around their neck -- literally.

Everything being shown and especially not shown to US in the media, online, and by the gov't is saying our freedom and way of life is under attack. The fact too many of our fellow citizens and the corrupt politicians are allowing it to happen, means this probably isn't going to end well. The problems are going to last for years if not generations.

Too many people are acting and voting to hell with freedom if you don't do it our way. There is no more live and let live. It is comply or be cast aside. This is being done on purpose and not for a good reason.

Edmund Burke was correct about evil and good men doing nothing. Unfortunately, the good men are the ones taking the arrows and punishment.

@Tickerguy

Ok, yes. I agree that action would be justified, and certainly plausible in the open-season DMZ of truth and hypotheses here in Ticker World. I just can't imagine any Pres. having the stones to start massacring encroaching Latino border-hoppers en masse with machine guns, and the 'slight' optics issue on the world stage that would likely manifest.

I think I can give Orange Man Pfizer credit for at least TRYING to stop it (within the shackles of the embedded Administrative State), and his reasoning behind it in line with Lou Dobbs, who I've always admired for his brazen, logical position on the illegals issue, even going back to his CNN days.

By the way Karl, thank you for your generosity with this website, and your brilliant commentary and truth nukes on all things fk'd. It's an honor to get personally corrected by you on something.

Cheers

Hopefully this isnt too tin. But, one way to end a populist/nationalist movement is to flood the country with migrants who do not share a common culture, value set, and even language. Divide and conquer has a long history for governance. We are also at the end of a massive monetary fraud that will blow up at some point. Timing for a reset is prime.

@Ingar

It is even worse than that. By sending the illegals to NY/DC/Chicago etc tAbbott and DeSatan were basically insuring that these illegals would NEVER be deported. That the conservative rank and file cheered it on only served to further reveal how STUPID they are. It wasnt really a stunt at all. They are in fact IN ON IT. Abbott is WEF. I am not sure about DeSatan but it wouldnt surprise me. And he has already proven he cares more about Israel than the US. Same goes for Orange Julius conman extraordinaire.
