 Finding Allies

My best allies in the covid-19 shot debacle happen to be my wife and all of the operations people at my biggest customer. So we can talk freely at my biggest local customer.

My current employer consists of 80% vaccinated, including (I suspect) all of the other controls engineers. So I am not able to talk freely about it with them. A year ago one of them made the comment that refusing the shots was "unscientific" and something only a rube would do. This was in a zoom call where I kept quiet. We've not had any conversation about the shots since. Some of the lab techs refused the shots, including an African immigrant who wired some panels for me (he and I got along well). But my employer just had a RIF yesterday while I am out in the field. I was not affected and my direct manager is quick to reassure me things are all well. But it does create a feeling of uncertainty that is only assuaged by the fact there are lots of other options (both direct and contract) available to me as backup.

Its all in the mitochondria

And while I read on the internet about all the people "waking up" to the VAX-holocaust, politics, etc, I'm not really seeing much of that in reality, and I live in a pretty "red" area.

I hear ya. Where is this great "waking up" of which I read? I guess if people are watching Tucker Carlson, people must be hearing some stuff. But TALKING about it? Where I live, the only reference I've heard to Damar Hamlin (the Buffalo Bills player) is how happy they are that that nice young man survived... and then on to talking about next week's game lineups. Not a word about the vaxx.

I COULD have said something about the vaxx recently... but the person I was talking to is allergic to negative topics of conversation, AND she's vaxxed herself (under duress), so I hate to tell her something that can only add stress to her already stressful life and keep her awake nights worrying over something she cannot go back in time and undo.

At least her employer didn't make her get any boosters.

I DO speak up with vaxxed friends to try to talk them out of boosters.

I was all set to raise hell at work in case of a "mandate".
Had the theories "realize there's no liability for the shot makers who do you think is getting sued if (when) things go bad?"
Seems enough folk went ahead and jumped for them, it was discussed, a mandate wasn't needed, but the Powers had already kind of thought on the whole "maybe better not make it mandatory".
I think I'm one of 2 or 3, total, who declined.

That said, some were coerced by others.
One guy "needed" shots to even "visit his parents at the rest home through a window while wearing a mask".
Others had relatives in the "high risk group" and decided for themselves.

What makes me even sadder is the number of people I thought were friends who got their kids shots.
To be "ahead of the game in case schools have a mandate".

I'm hoping my boy doesn't lose any (many) classmates, but I can guess it won't be zero "suddens" in the next few years.

At one point, I made fake vaxx cards for my wife and myself. We never used them, they were emergency items in case it got to the point we needed to get out of town and road travel was being restricted to vaxxed only. They weren't to get along, they were for if the real fight started and we were on the wrong side of the border.

Because the most shattering thing about the whole covid clownshow was how many otherwise sane and decent seeming people turned out to be evil fucks.

I've expected a big ol' trainwreck ever since '08. The bailouts, the spending, flat out stealing GM from it's shareholders, all the shenanigan's, it was obvious the US was going to go through a massive amount of turmoil at some point in my lifetime. The government will run out of money to pay it's minions, and trust and legitimacy have been squandered. So I've spent the last decade and a half preparing for that. You can't be prepared for that by yourself, you need allies. I worked to become part of a community that could stand up for itself in that situation.

And then along came COVID and that community fell apart like a rotten pumpkin. Something invisible to fear turned so many people into mindless puppets. So many others just wanted to go with the crowd - not a surprise to me, but that they'd go with such a stupid crowd, that they'd be so blind...

I'm still in corporate world. My employer required them at one point, and HR went so far as to issue it with deadlines. I believe it was mainly an excuse to push any remaining pensioners into retirement as soon as they could, as they were the only ones whose religious exemptions were not accepted.
Our own internal forums made me aware of many other employees who would not comply and some translated into English from legalese what we need to say to get exemptions. Someone up the reporting chain from me and I (I won't say how far up so as not to identify them on the internet) stayed up late on the phone writing up our religious exemption paperwork. My favorite part of it is that our employer has almost all of us on file saying abortion is immoral, as that was the crux of all three solutions available at the time, being it testing or manufacturing.
A line in the sand exists, has been crossed, and has been attempted to be backpedaled by my own side of the family. They are no longer hostile to me, and I have been slowly talking to more and more of them again. One works in the medical field, where money is their god, and their efforts of healing are not fruits of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, she may be the toughest nut to crack, but she says she follows Christ. If it is true maybe she ought to join those spearheading an effort to change medicine from within, back to the way Hospitals were ministries named after Saints with healing powers, and not like today where they keep the name for the recognition, but scrub any references to the Christ within their ethos.
My wife's family largely did not fall for it. My wife and I have the task of raising a set of children, whose numbers are not yet known, and will be high functioning adults free of cardiovascular damage brought on by pharmaceutical grifters.

Something invisible to fear turned so many people into mindless puppets.

Mindless and DANGEROUS puppets. In Canada, we now seem to have our courts condoning this even when the non compliant is KILLED!

Canadians are in serious trouble and most are still cheering this on!!!

If you want to save your bacon by obtaining a card by dubious means so be it. However when records are searched and your number comes up and all your insurance and medical costs increase due to it don't come bitchin to me.

You thought you could avoid the sufferings others more honest had to endure. Now your number is up as the screw turned and you now proclaim the opposite again to avoid the pain.

I think the first question to digest is what am I and digest what I'm supposed to be. Humans come up with artificial solutions to feel secure. Quite often they are phony solutions they hold on for dear life. Witness the mask wearers. I see them walkng down the street every day. Likely brain damaged by now.

I read a few therapy books. Some of the better ideas were from Perls. He developed a statement that man was suspended between impatience and dread. Take that idea and apply it to your life ad it will explain a ot of actions and manipulations you do in life, the ideas you hold, the fears you have. They rule most of our lives, whether you know it or not.

Alan Watts wrote a book titled The Wisdom of Insecurity. It is short and deep.

The best way to describe who one is by what they are doing and how it affects ones life. Most of what one does is to solve fear, boredom and other living matters. I think the #1 idea one has to accept is they will eventually be dead. That quite likely is the core of suicide, as you can get rid of the idea of an unsatisfactory life by creating the inevitible. Sounds crazy, but most of us have gone mad already over that idea. The contrary to that idea is they can't kill you. The biggest secret most people hide from themselves is what they are doing. It isn't just enough to discover this fact, but to recgnize you will probably do it again. if you can't let go of control and seek a solution to liquidate the problem, in the future. I have heard most of these are pink or green,

I have fears. Some of them you might call investments. Man is gifted with something we call math. It can quite often solve the equation as to whether you have had enough in reserve.

Just remember one thing. It generally isn't what one does when things are okay that defines them. It is what they do when the shit sandwich shows up. Maybe you don't have to eat it, but it will stay with you. We make most of them ourselves, but many just come from living. Unfortunately we live in a world where the authorities serve you one someone else made.

I frankly lump effectively all those who did religious exceptions in the same camp as those who printed fake cards. It's all disingenuous behavior.
I am ashamed for putting in a half-assed attempt at a medical exemption that was perfunctorily rejected by some dude in India who monitored that ServiceNow queue.
In relation to Karl's previous mention of winning. The night before that Ticker I received a text from my former manager that said "You Win", followed by a screenshot of the company's communique about reversing their mandate. I didn't have the heart to tell him that coming back is supremely unlikely. I see no way the company would "apologize" in an acceptable manner as evidenced by how I was dismissed. I think the tide has absolutely turned but I can't see any of the harmed getting anything resembling a decent "apology". I especially think this applies to the landsharks. The only people I see getting damages are those who fucked themselves with jabs. I am not sympathetic to that. Your only case otherwise is discrimination of which I could find none interested in discussing, even then the damages are likely limited compared to the harm. How many EEOC complaints are being processed? The handful of cases that have been settled like with the nurses are jokes in terms of payout.
I gave up any hope of personal compensation more than 6 months ago to intending to move on as if generally unscathed. The problem is I'm not over it, I'm not capable of sticking it to 60+ billion/yr company, I'm not awaiting the inevitable thud schadenfreude, and my ire isn't a violent level. smiley

Considered a fake vax card as it was offered to me by a doctor. To me it was going along with the narrative. Just couldnt do it. 6 months unpaid leave, back since May.

Company still pushing the vax (still required for new hires). Claims they are following CDC guidance although they have not required any booster. Which I believe is CDC guidance. Hmm

1 year to retirement, waiting on our lawsuit to be resolved. Guessing they will settle as I dont think they want this going to discovery.

The only way to "get away" with it would be for the provider to conspire with you so the dose is "spent" (into the trash) and the lot number and date is accurately recorded. It then goes into the system as expended into you.

Problem: The shots turn out to be the biggest public-health mistake ever, and everyone is damaged.

You never actually took 'em but you're still fucked in terms of what that branding on your chart does and there's nothing you can do about it. Your term life insurance comes up and is non-renewed. Your company folds their internal hybrid health plan because its blowing up in their face and ejects everyone onto Obamacare, but you make too much for the subsidies so you get whacked for $1,000/month for shitty insurance. You can't hold a pilot's license as you're presumed compromised, and the same is true for every other transport-regulated industry (e.g. ship's captain, truck driver, etc.)

Oh, and since its all in an EMR you can't escape it no matter where you go and who you work for. Ever.

Remind me to renew my commercial licenses when the time comes, heh, heh, heh.

Wonder how much i can ream any organization that does not want a suddenly operating their stuff.

Another thing comes to mind in the more mundane for people who just read Karl's comment regarding commercial transport. Most people do things where "suddenly" does not matter much except flopping on the floor or desk and being practice dummies for those who care about CPR (I don't.).

What about HOW you get to work or do life errands. How is this going to affect suitability to hold a driver license, and self-driving cars are not going to cut it.

Dated a girl with epilepsy in college, controlled perfectly for many years, never a seizure. She never held a driver license to not take the risk. However, state law required her to be evaluated by a neurologist every six months regardless of the fact that she did nothing involving danger or risk to others. She became a libertarian as this was a wrong law. Essentially the law assumed risk and wanted reports on another person's medical condition, NYS BTW.

So, since that abomination is still in place, funny that, what is to keep the authorities from requiring all sorts of monitoring and reports regarding this injury for whatever reason the assholes decide? Was that fake card worth it, cowards?

What you allow you get more of.

This one thought might upset a few people here.
Do you virtue signal?
Does the virtue you are signalling make you a better person than the virtues signaled by your lib nemeses?

Losing who you thought were friends as well as those you have known all your life to be family by blood does truly suck.

One of my older sisters, the only one who I've maintained an actual relationship with since I was a teenager, stopped talking to me after the following phone conversation about two years ago.

Sister: We got our Covid Vaccines last week. Are you getting it?

Me: Hell no!

Noticeable vacuum, flat voice, quick end to call.

Yes, it truly sucks to lose people. I've lost a lot of people to death already over the years, starting when I was pretty young. Fortunately, coping can be like a muscle. Everyone you know will die. Maybe they die to you before their spirit leaves their body. Don't try to claw them back, if you are still alive.

There may be many friends also still alive, that you simply haven't met yet.
Yeah, I need to be reminded of this too.

@mrbobo: When I first read your comment I felt offended, but I had to admit I agree. When the VA came out with that mandate, I just complied like I had been doing for years for the flu jab. But there was a little voice in me that said, NO MORE of this BS. Going forward, I've decided to no longer comply with these requests.

Of my former childhood friends, two are now complaining about aFib issues - but they won't make the correlation. If I say anything, I'm one of "those people."

The workplace in early 2022 had mandated mandatory vaccination if you wanted to work. I ignored their requests on my status and was within a week of being laid off. Never considered gaming the system.

We're virtue signalling our own status as purebloods here - so a cautionary tale: July 2022 I came down with what was probably the Omicron strain, no big. But I was annoyed as I had thought I had already dealt with Covid the year before. I even posted in the forum the results of Vit I at that time.

I did the Vitamin I again and the initial symptoms went away... except for a cough which got worse and bone rattling worse each passing day. Also a very large hard lump appeared right above my liver. And I started losing weight rapidly.

Stage 4 cancer. Almost didn't make it through October, but have been recovering slowly since then due to a very toxic chemo/immuno cocktail of drugs I get pumped full of every two weeks. I don't like it and the side effects are wretched, but it has worked in keeping me out of the grave. (So far.)

Speculation for you all. I was never 'vaxxed' but I somehow managed to get a case of Turbo Cancer if you will, when my immune system took a hit. Perhaps the linkage was coincidental? I barely count as any type of data set and have heard no similar reports.

No comorbidities, not a smoker and minimal drinker, no health issues, excellent diet, excellent cardio - go figure. Only explanation I got was I was in the 11% whose cause is unknown.

Since it can be worked in with chemo treatment, I am concurrently dosing myself with fenbendazole - yet another anti-parasitical drug. Why? The best prognosis the doctors have given me is they want to control and manage the cancer.

I want to kill the cancer. Will fenbendazole do that? I don't know. CT scan scheduled for this week, we'll get some data soon.

Apart from killing the jabbies physically, they literally killed what was left of our society. Like pulling a thread on a sweater and watching it unravel. I hate them all for that the most I think.
