 An Utterly-Ridiculous Level Of Scam
Boredfree 939 posts, incept 2021-09-15

Rarely do the people who need to bleed for their callous disregard of the masses actually bleed.

They have their middle men for that task;
Presidents, dictators, figureheads of the ruling classes bleed.
The financiers and other nation-building boogeymen gather up the chips and begin the scam again.

Isn't anyone bored with this same theme laughing and dancing its way through history?

I certainly am.

Why do humans find it easier to solve this with bloodshed then with general strikes, shunning and lawfare? Why is it when our social septic becomes full of the nasty, greasy shits we blow it all up?

There are so many legal avenues available to really hurt the PTB, but people mostly just want to shoot them.

There are ways of letting these freaks and oily farts feel our pain without actually being hurt spiritually or physically. You might have to give-up paying for cable and a host of other luxuries.

Make 'em bleed money and power. Then you'll hurt them.

The problem is most people want to point a finger rather than their thumb when dealing with challenges.

My simple test if something is a scam. Does one find a need for a whiteboard and diagram like org chart to follow all of the players and connections and money flows?

Ever see police detectives with a major case do something similar on a wall?

Ever been conned to a multi-level marketing meeting?

Proper businesses have reference documentation and charts in print and for their visuals. Scams have lots of pictures and connection lines. The more lines, the greater the scam.

I consider the prosecution of SBF as a test as to whether we still have a criminal justice system.

Pretty good article about Theranos and towards the end it lists some of the members of the Board of Directors. Can't seem to find a full list. But I'm sure it exists someplace. I wonder of the MSM interviewed any of these people?

Henry Kissinger (former United States Secretary of State);
Jim Mattis (retired Marine Corps four-star general);
George Shultz (former United States Secretary of State);
Richard Kovacevich (former CEO of Wells Fargo);
William Perry (former United States Secretary of Defense); and
William Foege (former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

And then there's this little tidbit:
Theranos paid each board member $150,000 a year, Ms. Holmes testified, plus 500,000 shares in the company.
Mr. Kissinger was paid another $500,000 a year as a consulting salary, she said.

Never followed the Theranos story, neither rise nor fall. To this day, don't know the details of "what" about the root of the corruption, but it's a waste of time to learn about it, anyway. What's the upside to investing the 3 minutes? None.

That said, regarding the list of distinguished visitors (they weren't workers or contributors, were they? If not, they were invitees to a graft giveaway; visitors): classic window dressing of a panel of authorities, none of whom know diddly about what's under the hood, designed to lend prestige to the marks of the "sale". Such appeal to authority works in spades; look at covid, the vaxx, and HCQ/IVM...the authorities took a stance, the learned, practicing, autonomous physicians hewed to the stance. Appeal to authority. When one can't discern, what does the "smart" guy think?

Probably a good lesson in running away from anything fronted by such an assemblage of personalities.

Also, a good primer on how even the distinguished can be serial gropers of loot. Schnobbs, all.

The only part of the Kunstler article I am skeptical of is this:

This complex fraud will smolder for a few weeks before it explodes into an extinction-grade event for the Democratic Party.

BoredFree "There are so many legal avenues available to really hurt the PTB, but people mostly just want to shoot them."

Legal avenues... you mean, like, the COURTS!?! The COURTS that throw multi-year sentences in prison at guys who WALKED through the capitol building? The COURTS that all murderers and rapists OFF or OUT? The (Soros-hired) prosecutors who REFUSE to charge murderers and arsonists and rapists, and even just shoplifters? The POLS who change the laws to DIS-allow $950 SHOPLIFTING to be ARRESTED!?!? The onesw ho knocked out bail and hearings?

Riiiiiiight... let's go for some LEGAL action. THAT'LL work!

This interview shows SBF to be an apparently intelligent but actually very stupid person without foresight or wisdom. He's oblivious -- until it hits him in the face -- of the consequences of his actions, with no ethical ground or compass. A character study for the dark spirit of our time.

Sam Bankman-Fried tries to explain himself
by Kelsy Piper

Last night, Sam Bankman-Fried DMed me on Twitter.

That was surprising. I'd spoken to Bankman-Fried via Zoom earlier in the summer when I was working on a profile of him, so I reached out to him via DM on November 13, after news broke that his cryptocurrency exchange had collapsed, with billions in customer deposits apparently gone. I didnt expect him to respond -- typically, people under investigation by both the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice dont return requests for comment.

Bankman-Fried, though, apparently wanted to talk. About how FTX and his hedge fund Alameda Research had gambled with customer money without, he claims, realizing that's what they were doing. About who gets lauded as a hero and who's the fall guy. About regulators. ("Fuck regulators.") About what he regrets ("Chapter 11," the decision to declare bankruptcy) and about what he would have done differently with FTX and Alameda ("more careful accounting + offboard Alameda from FTX once FTX could live on its own").

It was past midnight Bahamas time, where Bankman-Fried is reportedly still located, and we went back and forth on Twitter for more than an hour. He was, he said, still working to try to raise the funding needed to pay back all his depositors.

Fuck him.

The difference between "kill" and "murder" is that murder, as a subset of kill, is undeserved by the deceased.

I imagine many wokesters were fleeced by FTX. Losing money to their bedfellows should make them rethink their allegiance. Or do you think they'll just take one for the team and bend over again?

My guess is that FTX and SBF are just fall guys for the TPTB. They will be prosecuted and held up to the public to show how the Government doesn't tolerate this shit. All the while, there are dozens of more well concealed and conceived scams out there laundering Ukraine aid for the benefit of all the politicians and the connected bureaucracy.

We don't have a democracy, a representative republic, we are a Kleptocracy.

Don't look for that sex tape!

I too curious to know if they were balling in their cosplay garb not to look.

There are videos out there of the girl in her "sultry wood nymph" costume. I wonder what his costume was?

I wonder if the others were in costume too?

Did all ten of them do it at the same time?

There are endless questions to this despicable story than have nothing to do with the fraud, but seem much more interesting :)

Wow!!!!!! The balls to actually do something like this makes me finally realize that they have NO fear of prosecution. I've always known the average person is morally corrupt, but to accept this level of ignorance and self destruction has made me accept that the core of American Humanity is depraved, self delusional and self serving.
Quite devastating to my mental health. And my outlook on the world. My circle has now gotten smaller and my inner self control towards a violent response has lessened dramatically. I am of the age and situation where it does not really matter what happens to me going forward.
If someone of my skills were to contemplate going out with a mark, the mark may or may not be noticed. I will leave it at.

The more I learn of these scams, I find myself seeing that every one of the scams are somehow linked to each other. What does that tell me?

That some at very top of each of these separate cartels are talking to each other, like the capos of the crime families meeting coz they figured out they all can make and expand influence even MORE if they cooperate and share info, maybe?

One common denominator is PR: all scams require clever "spinners" to run interference, including spiking "inconvenient" stories.

Here's a 2012 report by one such master of spin (retired) (the Q&A that follows the report is particularly revealing):

Jon Rappoport identifies 8 cartels that run the world, a concept Ive found v useful to understand the twists and turns of daily news: Military, Money, Energy, Government, Medical, Corporate, Media, and Education

I didn't mean the legal system. I meant there are legal ways to get back at the fuckers.

There are even ways to use the courts to do this.

But people prefer to shoot rather than think of anything simple.

I'm not against shooting. But there are probably better options.

When corruption is neither punished nor deterred, expect to see an increasing number of people look for a "strongman" to fix things.

In many ways, this is why Trump got elected. Of course, he turned out to have no balls.

The next leader is likely to have them.

And now for the BIG BIG BIG question. Will the people living in the Tyrant run United States of BANANA REPUBLIC (USBR - Old U.S.A.) match the percentile of alcoholics the USSR created when their citizens were enslaved under the same type of a Tyrant government?
