Anarchy is my choice and I know that goes against what the host prefers. The definition used by me is - without government intervention - if that is possible. Survival of the fittest or getting more with the group working in tandem.

What does voting continue to get you? Some win and most lose. Every group wants to vote and they support the vote. Tyrants demand high voter turnout. My church hinted at voter attendance with the expectation of Republican support. Appears the majority of ticker contributors expect continued election support.

The idea of the founders is long past now even while great reform suggestions may be available death won't last as an enforcer. Secession is never allowed except by another entity.

Always an absolute ruler somewhere. No good answers here. I just feel that with no organized government to concern yourself with an individual or family can bob and weave. Also believe self-defense is a must.

Looking lean n mean, my friend!
I supported him twice, why?
-He seemed to love America and seemed to understand the danger the commies pose to the survival of the nation.
-All the right people were trying to destroy/stop him.
-For a while I thought he was playing a 4d chess game and would bring down the deep state.

After a while I came to believe that he's just a guy, who probably does love the country, who believed his own hype -that he could deal/negotiate with anyone. He underestimated the evil that he was up against and front day one, found himself on his back heel trying to survive.
He also revealed himself to be unprincipled when it came to defending the Constitution. The obvious play when the globalists pushed the scandemic, was to defend the Constitution in the face of the fear campaign. His lack of a principled Law and Order/Constitutional defense played right into the globalist's hands. It was a perfect opportunity to become the greatest president. He wilted, for whatever reason, and here we are.

I hear ya, but you REALLY don't want anarchy--by any definition. Self defense might be ok in a one on one type, isolated incident. You CAN'T do that effectively against hordes or over prolonged time frames. That's ugly.

What are the long term options?

Fighting aged Diversity outnumber fighting aged Heritage Americans. Peace with the rule of law are relics of a bygone era. Look at Bosnia. There is no external entity that can impose peace. They have solved the wildcard of elections.

The American experiment has failed.

It is interesting psychology that people would vote for someone who had destroyed them financially with the hope that they will save them from some future possibility of financial ruin.

With that said anyone who thinks you should be forced to have a non viable baby is brain dead themselves. Iceland gets some bad press for their practice of testing for Down's syndrome and allowing abortions if it is indicated. I suppose I'm a heartless bastard, but do we really need people with Down's on the planet? I'll also say that the people who are likely to use abortion as a form of regular birth control probably shouldn't be having kids anyway.

"Pure as the driven snow" does not include killing a million Americans, and both DeSatan and Trump are directly guilty.

Fuck anyone involved in that. If that means that the entire slate has to be wiped off and the party rebuilt, so be it. Either do it or fuck off as if you expect me to support and vote for Satan you can suck my dick right here, right now.

Good to see you Gen.

I agree with you.

There is no good option presently and I don't anticipate anyone to appear.

UpChuck Schumer just admitted that the reason they are allowing all of the people from the southern border in is because we are not making enough people here. I can forsee a situation where we have another country or the cartels actually waging war on the southern border. We can't admit enough people legally who bring skills and talents we need into our country? Instead we have to allow an invasion on our southern border?

I think that would be a good issue for the Republicans to run on.

There is the usual war internally within the party that will cause them to lose in 2024. The current crop have been warring over the platform for years and that will not change. The same people were elected into leadership.

Personally I've decided to turn off the political news for at least a little
while if not for the next couple of years until the election. I can get the news I need here. I did it after Obama lost Congress in the midterms and my time was much better spent doing other things than focusing on what I can not change.

Well said on all points Karl.

The only way for people to be secure in their beliefs is for them to have strong local culture which deals with these issues with the national all the way to the local staying out of the way as much as possible. There will never be a national culture which can resolve this issue in a common form for all Americans. It goes beyond fifty state laboratories all the way down to the town and even village.

Once again, govt needs to stay out of the way and only go as far as absolutely necessary. But, why does it go further.

Very simply that local cultures have faced so many threats and damaging events through its overreach and the subsidizing of social change (huge topic) that they want the government to do the job. There is also the conservative trap, being one i understand. Conservatives want to assume that they can form their zone of common values by force of will. There is a reason for this based in the social upheaval of our subsidizing of social change. Conservatives have found themselves removed from multi-generational nexuses due to forces beyond their control which they also get to pay for, things such as inflation driven change. They find places approximately conservative, a common example is finding a more right wing suburb when one is forced to move for a job. They resent everything about their existence, and find enough somewhat like them who wish to impose. However, they are not long blood and culture related and are often under siege of opposing politics all around them.

These conservatives do not realize that if everyone was exactly like them, the laws and rules which they want to impose would simply be a referendum on what everyone already does and supports. A common example would be as a Bishop in my culture once said. If everyone in the area (including my people he was key to note) agreed that prostitution was wrong, there would be no need to debate laws against it as there would be no demand and no business of such being offered. Hard lesson, no? People cannot face this. Want to know who also cannot face this?

The same conservative people also know that surrounded by those of other persuasions, dysfunction, so many influences, subsidies and culture mixing in essentials such as education something very bad and major life altering can happen. Ask anyone with a daughter.

Your daughter being a teen mom has life permanently altered in every way imaginable. Sometimes abortion and other reproductive measures are embraced by conservatives to emergency protect a future life of the somewhat conservative they are attempting to maintain. Hate to tell you; many conservatives also know that things can get worse. Same thing for what Karl rightfully brings up in terms of life altering disability costs. Now speaking of subsidies.

Some groups and people are extreme in their position of no towards abortion. I remember in the 80s and 90s there were even debates that rape was not an exception due to some having moral absolutes which is of course their prerogative. Some even passed around that having the child of said might have a healing aspect in terms of bearing life being an uplifting event. Could go either way on this one, however leaves a bad taste. Here is something which would change the equation for a lot of these moral absolutists in this regard, especially with disability and deformity.

When a child is born severely or even moderately disabled, he becomes a ward of the state. I knew many in the disabled community and still maintain some contacts. There is always a movement to get the child "into the system". Sure there is inconvenience to the parents, however the amount which the society spends on the child once disability is recognized, often very early, would defy your imagination. Some religious groups actually work in this realm and run facilities and organizations which get involved in this subsidized care.

What would happen if we removed a great deal of this free medical and other support? All of a sudden many of these religious and other groups of moral absolutists would be facing a charity angle which does exist to some small degree however would have to be much larger, and they would start to rethink their positions.

You see that welfare is not just a ghetto or minority issue.

BTW, there is no income or asset test of the parents for the child to qualify. It is based upon disability criteria established by state and local health departments and SSA.

@Sonoran_monk -- "I'll also say that the people who are likely to use abortion as a form of regular birth control probably shouldn't be having kids anyway."

The question to ask is why are people using abortion as birth control. Interestingly, it is also a factor in obviously non-dysfunctional populations and is only masked by the chemical birth-control system. Usually after an unplanned pregnancy, a more functional woman and many of the underclass are encouraged to go on chemical birth-control. Why ... is it needed?

The answer is that a cultural cue was lost which allowed people to deal with their natural urges and psychology. One would find it interesting that the oldest and most conservative cultures often have the most sophisticated ways of dealing with this along with some rather cohesive religious groups. And, it is not what people would assume. It is a long and interesting subject for another time. A big part is that the community shuffling described above mixes people who might appear the same, however are not, so the society attempts to come up with universal, least common denominator solutions. Hence, these never ending debates.

Why do we have this problem? It is pure economics. We allowed things to be subsidized which allowed groups to displace others and changed communities nearly overnight in cultural time instead of evolving. The post war period false economics created unearned mobility, consumerism and standards of living for many but not all. They left areas where they were needed and went where they never would have and did what they never would have done. All cultural connections were lost and replaced with universal, least common denominator culture. Interestingly, mass religions which consider themselves universal fit very well into this, and note that this is not casting aspersions on any one or all. Effects are simply effects based upon opportunity variables finding a situation where they work in outsized fashion.

In my writing elsewhere i explored a concept that many Americans were facing being ejected from the club to which they should have never been a member. This was predicted over thirty years ago, and expected to happen about now. Think of it this way.

Many of the things which people simply assume for themselves in life were once the purview of the very rich. Ok, better, cheaper, faster opens up much to many, however without subsidy it is much slower, more in tune with existing culture and not damaging to core cultures. Everything one has in life should be considered in terms of would one have had it if not for the post war inflationary trends. How many square feet would have been your house without these? Regardless of climate would you have had air-conditioning? Worse yet, how many members of your extended family, including you, would have had the resources to have a family? Yea, this was a thing even in cities, yet formed a culture(s) which dealt with all aspects of this situation. One could go on for hours with all sorts of examples.

Who used to have a boat not for commercial purposes? Who played golf? Or, even went camping? Large families were most often for the very wealthy business owners. Even camping was only for the wealthy, and you hunted if that was the community lifestyle for logical reasons, not for sport. How many guns of what type were afforded by common folk? And, why? But, what about large immigrant or other cultural and religious groups? For them we had privation, and interestingly they learned quite quickly usually in one generation regardless of where they lived. Funny, not much abortion or birth-control then. Culture and honesty about these things works.

Funny that. My vote is that these times and my values are better. BTW, they work regardless of the times. Do yours? Heh, heh, heh.

Get used to having a lot less, doing a lot less and working with simpler things. The way that my people live and me personally as a hybrid is going to be more and more relevant. However, we kind of know how to enjoy it, and do not have the social problems causing this debate.

Find joy in the simple things. You will have no choice.

ugly can be anywhere. The lack of accountability or punishment our system currently exhibits might be confused with hordes. How do you deal with it ? Maybe the best that can be done is to go back to a system where individual states have and utilize ultimate authority except for national security. How can we get there? Getting control centers to relinquish certain powers!!!

The Democrats were absolutely brilliant dumping the early SCOTUS decision, the Conservatives took the bait and went full retard wallowing in their self righteousness, some even playing the hypocrite-retard card to its fullest (looking at you sports ball dude).

Walker is a perfect example of how stupid and detached the Republican party has become. Running against abortion when you killed your own offspring via....an abortion (that is liberal level hypocrisy).

The Republican leaders must think their followers are box of rocks stupid, or they think their followers are truly liberal, buying into the whole do as I say not as I do thing. Kinda fucks up their law and order bit too, an abortion user calling for punishment of others but not themselves.

The devil is honest when compared to a false messiah...

If your followers feel abortion and inflation are important and you don't address your culpability its hard to pull that lever having any inkling of a conscience.

Politicians running on honestly/purity is akin to a whore espousing virginity, it just doesn't pass the smell test...

It is getting more and more difficult to not see the two DC parties for what they are, a unified front of crisis actors overspending the USA into a debt black hole for personal gain.

Until a new party shows up and somehow addresses the multiple herds of elephants in the nation we are pretty much fucked. What might be difficult if we start now will be life threateningly bad if we wait. Trying to keep the status quo now is going to fuck everything later.

Everyone in DC is desperately trying to maintain the status quo because it means they get to live like kings off of the work you and I do.

Quickly tearing off the bandaid is often less painful than slowly removing it.

TG,

Jesus ain't running for president in 2024, and even if he was, he'd probably do so as a Democrat.

Yep, Trump royally fucked up with Warp Speed, Run-death-is-near, and the money from heaven CARES Act, among other things. He is a showman whose rhetoric obviously clicks with some people. Nobody was speaking up for the Rust Belt folks who saw their jobs go to Chy-Nah. Wrap that up in the American flag and you got a winner there.

I don't know much about Desantis, but he has to be better than any dreck that the Demons run. Perfect, no, but who is?

Either the GOP finds someone on the bench who isn't one of those with toetag and jabby blood on their hands AND they publicly repudiate the abortion shit or the only other winner is for another party that does so to arise and destroy the GOP much like what happened to the Whigs.

If not welcome to 8 years of Kameltoe, Whitner or BOTH.
