@Hobbled I never want to give the liberals ideas, but in this case I think they've already figured it out. It would be a trivial affair to disarm America.

1. Destroy "off-grid", high BTU and scalable energy inputs. Particularly diesel.
2. Destroy small businesses, especially those ancillary to farming. Nurseries, organic seed suppliers, etc.
3. Push energy alternatives that can't possibly be scaled in rural fields.
4. Censor any and all speech pointing the above trend out.

We're somewhere between 3 and 4 if I had to guess. I may be missing some steps but this IS off the top of my head.

Gotta hand it to whomever owns Washington. They have a brilliant if diabolical plan in place. Only thing standing in their way is Russia, China, and OPEC. I'd also say half of America, but they haven't figured it out yet.

Speaking of "suddenly", it's starting to seep in with the normies in the place it matters most: illicit sex.

From a woman on Doublelist in an "open marriage":

Quote:
What Im looking for: Caucasian male (preferred, but Im open minded) anywhere from 35-50, tall, dont care if youre married or not, dominant in the bedroom, can go multiple rounds, knows how to eat pussy and how to please a woman, non smoking, and I prefer someone who hasnt gotten the recent vax. Dont need someone having a heart attack or stroke during sex, I wont be able to explain that one, lol.

Love him or hate him, you have to agree that he sure can motivate liberals to get out and vote, if not for themselves but for other liberals too...

I wonder if, not when the Republicans will figure this out...

The major problem I see is that the Republicans are probably not going to win the presidency again, ever.

Count me among the group that would most likely have a very, very hard time voting for Donaldo Trumpez for another round as our president in 2024. And yes, I am in a swing state that it will matter which party wins the White House. Politics is getting further and further into Clown World with who is running, how elections are being tabulated/run, and the results are almost indifferent to D vs. R being in power. I'll just keep my head down and work to keep myself and my family safe and cared for. Good luck over the next two years...we're all going to need it!

Why not use the Democrat's own tactics against them? Electoral jiu-jitsu.

If the D's are going to stuff ballot boxes with fake mail in ballots, then the R's should prepare to put in 20x as many fake mail in ballots for their own candidates.

When an electoral district with 250,000 registered voters gets 2.8 million mail in votes with the R's winning in a landslide, something will have to give.

Do that everywhere, even if there are 1.6 billion votes cast for President.

When the D's insist on a do-over election, repeat the process until better, and fairer, procedures are put in place, as outlined by TG in a prior post.

Trump and accomplishments is akin to the Captain of the Titanic just prior to hitting the iceberg. Trump's policies resulted in the greatest assault of American civil liberties in history. The only thing possible worse was slavery but that was a small subset of the population. Covid was the entire country. To remind people about Trump's accomplishments:

1. 15 days to slow the spread
2. Eviction mortoriums
3. Bogus PPE loans
4. The crushing of small businesses
5. Operation Warp speed and the resulting Jab mandates
6. A huge budget deficit causing the inflation we see now.
7. He could not stand up to a garden gnome who repeatedly stabbed him in the back

Trump is hated, he guarantees the Republicans lose 5 percentage points minimum of the vote in the suburbs, thus losing any statewide election in a purple state.

DJT just needs to go away. Go play kingmaker behind the scenes.

Nope. Their number is magic clown world estimating as it is IMHO closer to ~1.2 million. Dead is dead, the real surprises are yet to come. ~521,000 adverse drug reports (ADR), likewise a far further under reported magical number. Note: From 1968-2021 the influenza vaccine had ~272,000 ADRs <WHO> and it took 12 years to go from "virus discovered' to vaccine approval. <NIAID> Barney Graham MD 2015.

Warp Speed was approved by Trump and ordered by President Fauciii.

I guess I am still sorting a lot of this out in my mind as to how you answer the question - was I better off under Trump or Pres. Admin x? I have a successful business that employs 7 and my normalcy bias says I was doing good so I keep going. But in keeping going I give my implicit approval to having 50% of my income stolen from me, having to buy biz licenses just to exist, comply with red tape whose only purpose is to treat me like a child as if I cannot be trusted to treat my clients and staff properly, as if I were left unsupervised I would destroy those I serve, etc etc. And I can't Leave aside the death jabs that evil man allowed to be warp sped into existence.

My point in what I said earlier was spurred by that thought and I realize we are trapped. Support the "right" deputy given us by the political parties - as the Chicoms were doing with Mao's deputies. And the rules are always changing to keep us off kilter. The parties play us for fools while they rape and pillage us and gather more power. And we do so because we don't wish to "fail" the cause - as the Police battalions were. We don't demand better than Trump. Like the commies and lackeys we just keep going like hamsters on the wheel.

I am but one guy and voting ain't making things better. I don't have the brain power of our host so I can't articulate a better answer than what I have said before. The only answer which can make impotent the tyrants and fools is the one where the politics and beauracracy don't have such a large influence on me vis a vis daily living. Governments only just and moral purpose is to protect my rights and property. And that they ain't doing and I don't know how to make this happen as was intended by our Founding Fathers. We are a different people now without a compass because we WANT .gov to be our momma and daddy and we don't want personal responsibility or consequence.

"How did this happen? They did not want to go against the peer pressure of not "doing their duty", even though they were against and revolted by what was happening. They hated what they were doing but refused to rebel, even though there were more who were horrified than there were who were enthusiastic, by a lot."

I struggle with this. But it's in no way as "easy" as you (and maybe this book?) make it sound. I believe I will have no trouble shooting dead a negro -- or a White idiot-lib -- approaching my house with a gas can and a torch. THAT part of this war is/will be easy(-ish). But, what about the two female water buffalo that came to my mostly White, mostly conservative, town hall meeting, where two White Conservative candidates were holding a meet-and-greet, so we could ask questions?

The buffalos were angry because they had ASKED antifa to come out into the hinterland in force, and antifa said 'no, not worth it to them.' So the two buffalos decided it to disrupt and cancel the town hall on their own. Instead of getting to find out about these two candidates, we instead had shouting and arguing (mostly the buffalos) and the candidates and much of the audience gave up and left.

In this war, those buffalos ARE ALSO MY ENEMIES! Here's where I go back-and-forth -- like, I'm guessing, those German police... I don't WANT to shoot 'any-old negro'; but they -- as a group -- ARE my enemies! They -- intentionally or not -- ARE destroying MY nation, MY people, MY country... And when this war comes, and no one can say it's not coming, what then?

WHERE does my duty to MY people lie? Those German cops struggled and suffered and **did what they HAD to** on behalf of THEIR people! Their nation!

War is not ever clean and easy. Where and how does one draw the line? Do we shrug and say, "welp, too late; can't be stopped now; end of the line for MY people. Guess I gotta just let my people all die, because it's too hard to shoot the ENEMIES who want to -- and WORK TO -- wipe out Whitey?!

I don't know where to go, what to do with this quandary. The way to end any war is to make the enemy so destroyed that they stop fighting. I do not want MY people to stop fighting. How, then, do I fill in the blank?

As a DC Native, who never worked directly for the gov't, the political class in DC are group of people who like sucking off the taxpayer. The DC bureaucracy feeds on itself, and the politicians supply the feed to the bureaucracy. Most of the bureaucrats are progressive Dems.

Politicians are like diapers. They should be changed often and for the same reason. I am not sure who originated this statement, but it is very true. BTW it was not Mark Twain. It seemed to evolve from the Women are like socks quote. Bureaucrats should be added to this quote.

There are a few politicians in DC who are worth having there. Most are useless followers of their party's establishment. The parties are run by the donors. Those who pay the bills get to buy what they want. There are millions of reasons why Clinton & Obama became multimillionaires after they left office. GWB already had money, but he and Cheney got paid too.

Harry Truman was one of the last Presidents who wasn't completely corrupt. He did not suck off the gov't teat and to make himself wealthy from his being POTUS. He had a great quote:
Quote:
"My choices in life were either to be a piano player in a whore house or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference!

Eisenhower warned against the Military Industrial Complex. Now we have Big Pharma and the finance industry to add to the mix. The MIC, banks, and the Drug companies own many politicians. The irony is they pay off the politicians by using our tax money. They overprice products and services to the government, take their profits, and send a portion back to the politicians.

Comments were made that Trump should have investigated the fraud in the elections. He and Guiliani tried, but the courts threw out the lawsuits saying there was no evidence. There was evidence, but many of the courts did not want to allow the investigations to collect it. The state legislatures in some of these states sat on their hands and did nothing when the state officials changed election laws without their approval as required. There is very little time between an election the certification. If you can't get the courts or the state legislatures to agree in a short amount of time to do something you are out of luck. You can call up the military. I think that would be a wildly unpopular move.

Bill Barr, who was AG at the time sat on his hands and the DOJ did nothing. One needs to realize 95% of the attorneys in the DOJ are progressive Dems who donate to the Dems. Opensecrests.org has a number of lists showing all the gov't attorneys and where they donate. Almost 100% of gov't attorney donations go to Dems. The DOJ attorneys got what they wanted when Trump came up short in the 2020 election. The DOJ attorneys sure as hell weren't going to do anything to possibly show there was enough fraud committed to overturn an election.

Trump was impeached on two baseless claims. The DOJ and Congress were all about investigating claims they knew to be false to provide negative press on a constant basis. Causing chaos with an administration they did not want to succeed. Meanwhile, Hunter Biden's laptop sits in the FBI building with compelling evidence that FJB is a corrupt crook, and nothing is happening about it.

Trump screwed up by trusting the Washington Reps who were upset he beat the other Rep candidates. I think his inexperience not being a Washington politician did cause him problems in the beginning. McConnell got his wife Eliane Chao appointed as Secretary of the DOT. If Trump didn't make that move, he would have had less cooperation from McConnell then he had. McConnell and Ryan were two establishment Reps who didn't want Trump as POTUS at all.

I think Trump did an admirable job getting what he accomplished with a bureaucracy completely against him. Fauxi and Birx lied to him. You would think medical doctors in charge of the country's health bureau would give the POTUS the best and most accurate advice. We know they didn't. Not being a doctor, he took their advise and the public was screwed. Biden made the jab developed under Trump mandatory. Trump thinks he did a great service with Operation Warp Speed. In theory he did but in reality, the jab was a fraud perpetuated on the US.

He went around the Congress controlled by Reps to get the wall built. The wall was stopped by Biden, but what else would one expect from a Dem. Trump had border was under much better control. I give him credit for accomplishing what he did in strong headwinds. Some of the headwinds were self-inflicted by his stupid comments and tweets. There were no other politicians in the 2016 or 2020 campaigns that would have accomplished what he did because they don't want what works for US but worked for them. The Reps are the stupid party and will likely screw up having the House for the next 2 years. If McCarthy becomes the speaker, he better be ready to be crucified in the press. He better not back down.

George Carlin was right about there is a club and we are not in it. I disagree with Carlin about not voting. Not voting only gives those who cheat more reason to cheat.

Most people are negative on Trump. With his personality and antics, it is not hard to see why. Who should be the next POTUS? Karl says he isn't running, so you can't name him. Although Karl as POTUS would make DC interesting and fun to watch.

I liked the fact Trump wasn't a politician. He is definitely not perfect, but who is? If it is a Biden/DEM v Trump election (I don't think it will happen) in 2024, I will support Trump. Trump is a better alternative to the majority of DC politicians who are like Obama, Bush, and Clinton. They were all bought and paid for to become POTUS to keep the status quo.

Thanks Kik. GENOCIDE and MURDERED---yup exactly.

My best friends mother had stage IV pancreatic cancer, no covid for her or her mother and due to the lockdown my friend and mother cried each day alone for a month until the grim reaper said enough. Both were willing to don the most effective PPE biological protection.

Trump was in the left seat and at the least he could have slowed this down, fired Fauci, Birx, Redmen, and listened to outside professional contradictory data and with the Executive Branches resources protecting those who came forward. DOJ was worthless ( with its >50 billion dollar budget ) as was the AG. Hell---he could have read a few Tickers.

He was a strange divisive figure with an infectious crude humor that was hilarious to watch. And he did get a bunch of stuff done. But it was always and ever about Trump.
