The game's afoot....

"In order to make America great and glorious again. I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States," Trump said Tuesday evening to a crowd of supporters.

Before or after all the people who have (and are) dying from clotshots?

Oh by the way, from some estimates that's roughly 400,000 and counting.

Every single one of which is chargeable directly to that asshole and his "Warp Speed."

I'm sure all the Trump fellators will be out in force; that's fine.  Go long kneepads for everyone who will be lined up for their turn, but just remember: But for that asshole and his actions when Covid showed up there'd be no clot shots, no clot shot mandates and had he not done his "two weeks" crap there would have been no federal policy or money for lockdowns and all the other crap eitherwhich, incidentally, we knew from 40 years of study would do nothing except damage our economy and educational systems.

Never mind all the inflation -- every bit of which was stoked by Trump and his policies.

If you want more of any of that..... you're nuts.

I don't see an upside to DJT running again. While the political landscape can change a lot in the next two years making an environment where DJT could be elected, I think that is unlikely.

Since he refuses to go away quietly, he makes the likelihood of a fight within the R party high. And if he is turned out in the primaries, he will take a small portion of his contingent with him - those MAGA supporters that think he deserves to be elected because he was screwed in 2020.

The Ds won't be running Biden again, so if they nominate someone who is even slightly attractive they win.

DJT's biggest problem is his ego. He's made the election about him rather than about us.

Likely either DeSantis or Trump will be the candidate of the R and FJB or Cameltoes as the D.
So which is the end of the turd that you get to pick up?
Even not voting for either part of the turd will not stop that turd being your president and having the power that comes with that office to smear turd over your face and in your wallet.

Around 1992/93 Trump visited the dog sled kennel where I was working.

Walking past him I had the crazy desire to punch the fucker in the nose. Not many people have triggered me in such a way.

Funny, I kick myself for not doing it. He is the sort of asshole who needs a random punch in the nose, just 'cause.

He's an asshole, a dickhead, a carpet bagging political whore whose only value will be worm food.

The abused love their abusers. More trump flags and billboards. Cool.

I appreciate the optimism but it's equally naive to think our big, bloated fed'l gov't wouldn't have come to be if not for FDR.

Every country gets the government it deserves and these crappy policies and culture killers have all proliferated because we the people asked for, or at least allowed for, it.

Nope. Nope. And nope. But not to worry, at the rate we are going, will there even be a 2024 election? Zelensky tried to make things go WWIII hot with the latest "missile attack on a Polish border town" when it very likely was Ukraine's doing and not Russia's doing.

Trump was the lesser of two evils and lesser evil is still evil.

I've never understood why people think he is coming to save us when he helped create the clusterfuck in the first place. If he believed the election was truly stolen, he had the power to investigate and do something about it before he left office. The only thing he does is hold rallies and ask for donations. What is he doing with the money he gets? A grifter, just like the rest of them...

I've decided that since so many R voters have chosen abortion as their litmus test, I will choose a litmus test of my own. Mine will be the (mis) handling of COVID. Basically nobody I would have the opportunity to vote for passes my test so looks like none of the above for me.

The very fact he decided to be a candidate after those 4 years shows what an egotistical shit he is.

It's like we're stuck at a circus delay due to something going wrong during one of the acts and they keep on sending out the clowns

As I recall Donald Fucking Trump lost the last presidential election against the current pants shitter in chief. The fact that there was fraud involved not withstanding. As president he could and should have done something about it. Look where we are now as a result. Fuck that asshole. He will get no support from me. Unless and until the people of the united states do what it takes to effect real change, our country will continue to circle it's way down the shitter. We have an ice cubes chance in hell of that actually happening. Color me depressed. Clown world / shitshow is the norm now. I actually believe that a national divorce is a good answer. The States need to reassert their sovereignty and put a stop to all the federal over reach. It won't happen without a big uprising of the people. I still have too much to lose, and too many people to care for to just hoist the black flag. But maybe I value my shit too much. I don't know. But I do know that a man can't put up with this shit forever. There is a line in the sand somewhere, and I it's coming into view.

I still maintain that Trump is the only reason the 2016 election was even close. Hillary is such an unlikable wench that any reasonably competent and charismatic politician could have beaten her easily. But Trump managed to be almost as unlikable.

2020 speaks for itself. Even with election fraud, that senile old potato would not have been a serious contender if not for the large contingent of "anyone but Trump" voters. Now add 2022 to Trump's list of failures. It should have been a cakewalk, but the stink of Trump (among other issues noted on the Ticker) turned it into a big shit sandwich.

I don't even care if you like the guy. The truth is he's a proven looser. He will lose again if given the nomination. There are a lot of people out there who aren't happy with the dems but will never vote for Trump or anyone he's closely associated with.
