Catholicism for nutty Nancy is a frippery similar to rule of law or sober thinking.

She hasn't been disabused of the notion that she can just speak rules into existence, why would it be any different in this sphere?

Unfortunately for Ms Pelosi, et al, they have already incurred latae sententiae excommunication. They compound their woes by receiving communion not in a state of grace. See 1 Corinthians 11/27-29.

The tyrants own the USSC.

The anti-abortion "leak" and the subsequent opinion is part of the plan of the tyrants to cause "riots", using their own thugs, and to cause more destruction and division among the citizens.

The leftists are stupid enough to be useful idiots, working for the tyrants.

Instead of a "civil" war, we all need to respond, together, to the war that the tyrants have declared on the entire civilization.

The citizens of the US can destroy the demons, quite easily, and the tyrants know it.

The fictitious "leader" of the useful idiots? FJB!

Obama is the an audacious useful idiot, working behind the scenes, pulling the strings of the installed puppet government of pussy FJB, like they have been doing in many other countries. The chickens came home to roost but will be barbecued instead!

Personally, I never join any "religious" organization; could not find any that does not restrict thinking and they all wear the mask of authoritarian power over their followers.

I read the scriptures on my own and try to be constantly aware of the Universal and the Inifinte, i.e. beyond all attempted definitions or imagination. And I try to practice love and devotion for the divine and others who cross my path in my journey.

I try to contemplate on the universal laws that run this universe and try to honor them, especially the law of gravity and I avoid putting my hand in a fire.

Human societies exist as per certain common sense interpersonal laws and the demons who transgress even the most basic of these laws are invariably punished.

Aborting babies is the most despicable form of killing the helpless and the innocent and can only lead to the destruction of humankind. The people who do it have no humanity left and cannot claim to be human.

Mother's love is still the greatest of all universal truths, like God, in all societies, except for some who turn into demons, but who too were given birth, and cared for, by a mother. If a would be mother does not want the baby, I am sure there are many others who would want one.

An unwed mother is no longer a stigma in an inclusive society that includes LGBTQ+.

Why MURDER the poor baby?

I agree, because she's obviously on the same page as the pope. Or, "pope."

In the first book of the bible Adam is restricted by God from eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In the last book of the bible the reader is warned not to add or take away from the words of prophecy. Hmmmm...sounds kind of restrictive. Throughout scripture we are warned explicity and implicitly on what we ought or ought not to do: Thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not tell a lie, and on and on and on. The presence of restrictions is a tenuous basis for the rejection of a "religious organization". What loving parent does not place restrictions on his child? We are rational animals created by God and given the gift of free will. We are bound to use our reason and will to do good and avoid
evil. Avoiding evil means placing restrictions on our behaviour. It's unavoidable.

I don't think Pelosi possesses qualities to be any religion other than satanic. She might qualify for certain groups within the Vatican, as may the POTUS, who has a problem with the commandments about lying and stealing.

In the meantime here is a high priest telling it like it is.

@Redsox2824 -- regardless of reason, how is one a former priest. Can understand retired due to age or health, but former. These are sacred vows, supposedly eternal, in your faith.

Perhaps all of this bending of the rules is the root of the problem.

@tickerguy, all I can say is Amen and bravo for the Catholic church's action here. And I'm a protestant who feels that most of the mainline protestant churches abandoned us on the subject long ago, unlike the Catholic church.

Still doesn't incline me to become Catholic for other reasons, but I still believe in the catholic church (uncapitolized, as in the universal church-ie body of believers). I rarely and selectively set foot in certain churches anymore, ones who still view certain things similar to the Catholic church's views.

God is strongly pro-sex: that's why He made it. Do it His way for best results: be a man, marry a woman, and stick to her.

The priests diddling altar boys are serving Satan, not God. Doesn't matter which denomination enfrocked them.

@Gregorykeating "In the first book of the bible Adam is restricted by God from eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."

I was talking about "religious" organizations in a political context, where no other worldview is even allowed to be mentioned or discussed.

We should be able to discern between good and evil just on the basis of reason or common sense. We all know, even by intuition, that murder, as in abortion, can not be normalized in any society.

In fact, recorded history tells us that some of the bloodiest aggressions were done in the name of "religion", though religions teach us otherwise.

There is tremendous potential for abuse of religions and that is what many of the "religious" organizations do.

It is not easy for an organization to remain free from politics or self-interest of the key players, and to concentrate on the teachings of the religion.

There is no need for self-appointed agents to reach what is universally and directly accessible to all.

My bride's family is Catholic (she no longer is, long story).

When we were newly married, she was exposed to things that made her start questioning her priest. A local IL politician, who was vocally and openly pro infanticide, attended her parish and received communion, taught CCD, and posted political signs on the church property.

When questioned on this, the priest told her "You are not allowed to question! Besides, it is better to have influence with the Democrats than have pure doctrine!"

At the time that angered me. It still does, but I am not near as romantic. The Catholic church did not survive all this time by taking a stand against the powerful governments. Right or wrong, their main theology is "What pays the best!"

The Church of Rome is a pseudo-Christian cult that teaches that an Italian-Argentinian fudge-packer is God incarnate. Its only genuine goal is raising funds to finance the lifestyles of the Roman clergy.

Religions and Science are both knowledge. They should corroborate each other and not cancel each other out. There is always science underneath even in the teachings of religions. And each should extend the other; we need both, faith and reason.

One of key points of religions is that our actions have consequences. Evil actions change us into an evil person because whatever we do leaves traces in our minds, in form of neural patterns, as permanent attributes of personality.

The internal consequences of evil actions are like the chickens that come home to roost, as neural patterns, affecting the future behavior.

Depending upon how the host deals with the internal consequences, the chickens will, eventually, either get roasted or roast the host.

Lust is a classic example of a fire that gets extinguished only after it toasts the host.

Of course, there are also external consequences of evil actions. The external consequences invoke opposite reactions that too can lead to the destruction of evil.

Evil gets destroyed either by the reactions to its external consequences or it destroys the self; in either case, it always loses!

How about the church covering for those priests?

At some point hiding behind "not God" is total BS when the church was created to represent God is faulty and no longer does what it claims/supposed to do. But then again this "system" was likely corrupted when the European cathedrals were constructed under the patronage of the wealthy at the expense of the poor and middle class. Remind anyone of anything today?? No wonder the same system "representatives of the people" which has been corrupted by the wealthy, thinks it can change the system of the church to meet its needs. Two peas in the same pod essentially.

The church hasn't represented God for centuries, this shit today is nothing new.

Your belief in God is what matters, it is the only thing that matters, it is the only thing that is true to God.

Institutionalized God today is just another con job so the fucks in power can sit in gilded chairs and project power and influence for cash money. It is total bullshit and the messing with kids thing and the systemic cover up simply proves it.

The true irony here is Pelosi saying that it is wrong for the church to force their views on others. And exactly what the fuck are you doing "lady"??? Holy fucking shit, politicians are something else.

@Redjack -- "When questioned on this, the priest told her "You are not allowed to question! Besides, it is better to have influence with the Democrats than have pure doctrine!""

This relates directly to my original comment post above. It also helps people to understand how an organization which appears to be so conservative supports liberal big city and suburban governments. It directly explains why their membership is loyal and would never criticize it by withdrawing their membership. The ingrained parochialism in its culture is America's first experience with authoritarian liberalism. This is what Roman Catholicism and the masses carrying it brought to America. They have a psychological dependence stemming from an actual dependence when it was integral to their influence in society creating unions, public services for new immigrant families, political influence and opportunities to grab power through graft.

It is why they focused on the sexual morality while not really meaning it. Yea, think about it. If they focused their high ideals on other aspects of life, they would be forced to condemn the same actions which they and their masses used to achieve prosperity and power.

It has been extensively discussed how certain leaders in this faith figured out ways from infancy and young childhood to create Catholics for life. I am not going to go into it here, however there is a lot worth considering.

In the founding peoples of this country, especially mine own, there are various rituals where a person of conscience or young or actual adult decides whether he wishes to embrace the beliefs and culture. There is no psychological pressure as a SOP to influence this decision. Catholicism does the opposite and not always for the most wholesome of reasons. For example Karl has written often of how he wanted to make that decision as a Catholic adult and must admit that there is intense pressure to not do it this way.

Worker rights, labor issues, national and local welfare, liberal politician support, one can always hear the Catholic church come down on the side of the liberal Democrats on this one. They, the Catholics, are the party of big gov supporting the right people. Anyone living in a liberal city sees the very Catholic influences in every parade and event celebrating big govt and govt worker unions along with the customary green everywhere.

The problems of this country were to a significantly caused by different people coming here around the time of the Civil War. There is no argument. People like mine built this country. They were not Catholics. Catholics are incapable of fixing it, as they played a strong and key role in its destruction.

The abortion hypocrisy over all of these years is merely an example of how they work as an invading culture seeking to use the existing success of the original peoples, steal and outnumber and replace them in the process. There is a micro example in "The Bar" section where we recommend books to @Frat which has a minor example in a book which i recommended to him and must follow up upon.

In this abortion hypocrisy they are merely demonstrating that they play political games as it serves their purposes.

Now, ask yourselves whether this was organic, simply the result of a garbage scow of a culture dumping itself on our shores with a primitive belief system and their nature as locusts simply finding fertile ground (oh, this was good) to prosper to hell with the consequences.

Or, was it a planned destruction of our concept, and they were only the foot soldiers. Yes, i am hinting at something. The concept of These United States was by its essence an existential threat to the Old Order of the World, especially the European powers. The New World Order spoken by the tin-foil-hat crowd is merely the Old Order attempting to keep its power.

People find it hard to understand, but simply being, even if we keep to ourselves and interfere with no other in our ventures, IS a threat simply because we are.

What other of my favorite topics does this reveal at the level of World Culture?

Yes, others of a certain type cannot bear to know that better than they even exists, and they will attempt to destroy it each and every time.

This is what Roman Catholicism is at its core. It is the protection agency of the Royalty of the world, keeping a constant underclass which do its bidding for free, just like the Irish did to effectively wreck America.

The best slave is one who works for free. Almost zero priests and no bishops and other church officials spilled blood during the Irish "struggle" in America or any other conflict for that matter. They hobnobbed with the rich and powerful who might have resented them, but who had their own exit strategy. It was one powerful group merely passing on the baton to another.

And this my fellow travelers, is simply these politicos being retired.

Next time you see or hear a Catholic priest preaching or discussing rights of working people, the necessity of unions and supporting working families, etc. merely overlay other communist pundits and notice that it is exactly the same.

"Knowledge" in biblical context also means sex (Cain "knew his wife" et al), and some versions of the Tree of Knowledge story didn't have "of good and evil" on the end of the tree description. So there is an argument that God didn't really intend for humans to be able to reproduce, and was planning to personally create every person that he intended to exist. Adam and Eve were barred from the "Tree of Life" - unlimited personal lifespan - because the two benefits simply can't both be permitted.

Regardless, though, "anti-unauthorized-sex" God. Diddlinng altar boys - in fact ALL sex among humans that isn't between a male husband and female wife of each other - is still supposed to be prohibited by this God; and priests are supposed to be exemplary in following the teachings of their deity in order to enjoy the benefits of priesthood. And according to Catholic teachings they aren't even supposed to get married!

So my original question still stands. How does a priest of this God, His representative, diddle altar boys without this God doing something about it?

Thank you, @Whitehat for a great summary.

The Roman Catholic church has always been in bed with the royalty, against the people. It has been doing a great job, for the royalty, attacking the minds of the people, in the garb of the royally dressed Pope while talking about "spirituality" and enslaving the minds of the people with their own stupid rituals!

They have always been pushing NWOs of their own:

https://www.amazon.com/Gods-Politician-C....

Who cares what they do with Pelosi; they themselvess are of the same ilk!

The BS propagators and violence instigators, throughout the world, have been working hard to destory other religions for a long time while destroying themselevs with their own evil.

In his 'Divine Comedy' Dante placed a pope in hell. From this we can infer the message that all the clergy are subject to God's justice. Your repulsion by the clergy abuse of minors is justified.(As a side note, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops commissioned a study of the known cases at the time, i.e. the 1980's, which showed that 88% of the victims were post-pubescent males. In other words most of the perpetrators were homosexuals, not paedophiles.)

One might broaden your question to ask why God allows any evil. History is full of evil.

Jesus addressed this question in the Gospels in a number of places through parables and, most importantly, through His own example; He was crucified though innocent. Search the Gospels for particular examples. They are easily read.

So why does God allow men to commit evil acts?

The answer is that He gave us free will. That includes the freedom to do evil. But Jesus clearly warns that God's justice for the unrepentant will be severe and eternal. Yes, we cry out for swift justice especially for the most heinous crimes. Be assured that, in the end, all justice will be done but it will be done in God's good time according to His wisdom.

In the meantime, the great drama plays out in each person's life: will you chose to do good or will you chose to do evil?
