QUOTE....If you were born in America and are over 35, this is not the country you grew up in. You might as well moved overseas.

I strongly advise that you NOT move to kanukistan. We are run by a mini turd and I expect it will get just as bad here if not worse, this fall.

The coming smiley is going to be an evil nightmare.

Tappedout....I do love a good troll. Your comment lines up there with the best of them. smiley

I could agree with you if I thought the gubment gave a damn about their people. They don't and will not hesitate to starve the masses. What better way to bring in a one world government than to have everyone totally dependent on the gubment to "SAVE" them.

Even if they're competent, there's the aging factor. I also wonder about the cost: tattoos are expensive, and there seems to be a negative income correlation.

@Eleua "Food, rather than being a unifying force, will be the causes belli for it, and "they" couldn't be happier at the prospects of it."

In some countries, e.g. India, there has always between a huge gap between the "haves" and the "have-nots". They have been living together peacefully for centuries, without widespread violence, though it has always been a lifetime of servitude and suffering for the "have-nots".

I think that "doing nothing" part of the human nature is more dominant than the "doing something" part, especially something that requires initiative and courage.

Widespread inertia is what the ruling class are counting on, besides being willing to exercise violent and merciless suppression of any opposition, like the colonialists of the past.

Look at all the well-armed "pussies" here. But, I am sure it will end differently here and will not end in servitude and suffering under the ruling class. Life is still pretty comfortable in the home of the brave, for the people to be willing to fight.

But I doubt that people will fight with each other. Many more people may continue with their inertia or status quo but those willing to fight will be united against the common enemies who have been audaciously beating the war drums.

Very timely in the discussion of free fish, if you become hungry enough during the impending festivities, remember that California has decided that bees are fish. I, for one, am excited to try my bee filet sandwich. I guess one thing really can become any other thing, genetics notwithstanding.
Quote:
Although the term fish is colloquially and commonly understood to refer to aquatic species, the term of art employed by the Legislature in the definition of fish in section 45 is not so limited.

Lest you think our military will save us during the festivities, recall the F35 fighter lost off China. The ship the US Navy used to bring up our fighter in the dramatic race to beat the Chinese government to it was made in China. I think that says it all. If you are the last one to leave, please turn out the lights.
Everything is going swimmingly... smileysmiley

Chlorine is used in *ALL* major water treatment plants, and nearly every swimming pool around the world, and is extremely safe.
Sunlight destroys it, which is why swimming pool owners lament they are always having to add more chlorine!

Great article, but a few points of disagreement:

The purebloods lost the Coof War decisively

I don't think so. We all have our health. And assuming a 1/30 "screwed rate", this effectively handicaps about 10% of all the Vazis when one considers they are on the hook for a vax-injured spouse, parent, or kid.

Weak relationships were severed. Cowards were identified. Bonds between the "unvaxxed" are stronger. Parallel economies are emerging on a small scale.

I wouldn't say we won, but we didn't lose decisively either.

Regarding demographics... what is the demographics of the northeast and pacific northwest? Food for thought. Also, I've seen a couple of polls where Hispanics are voting more "R" than whites. In fact, some folks say that Hispanics put Youngkin over the top in the VA governor's election.

@ Tickerguy There is a LOT of non-planted AG land out here right now...

In my part of Northern Ohio most of the unplanted land is due to RAIN. Just got another 2" on top of 3+" the week before and consistent moisture since mid October. They want to plant but just can't get in the fields.

Farmers in this area (mostly field corn/soybeans/wheat) have until the end of June to get their crops in without significant yield loss.

@ Dingleberry Re: the Overton window.

I saw this graphic and it really illustrates the point. Propose something way out in left field that fires people up as being too radical. Then walk it back to something a little to the left of the current atmosphere. People are relieved and feel they have warded off an evil proposal when in reality a small shift has still occurred. Rinse and repeat and after several decades you find the entire society has subtly been moved from where it used to be.

A reminder that while the distractions of school shootings, the coof, abortion, war on another continent, hypersonic weapons, NBA/NHL playoffs, college world series, inflation, Depp/Heard are in your face 24/7, I'd submit that you might be spending too much time on the unimportant while a Category 5 shitstorm is looming in your future.

While some of us had studied this for quite some time, others are new to the game. For the time being, most of this list lives in a framework of civilization that is still fully operational, with a few percentage points of error cropping up in the last two years.

That's manageable, but increasingly expensive.

You still have the opportunity to buy fresh food, store-able food for long term use, weapons, ammunition, and ample supplies. you still have time to learn about food preservation, supplementing it with your own home-grown foods, you still have time, but limited, to make radical changes in your domicile that may save your life. Medical supplies, equipment, tools, books are all amply-available; virtually the entire catalog of western knowledge (meaning white-guy civilization) is free for your use.

But the Cat 5 approaches, and many are distracted from what is certainly coming, in favor of the bright-shiny distraction of the day.

Do not be distracted from your mission. Find the resolve. Make your lists, achieve them, make more and achieve them as well. Rise above the nonsense that is presented this Month of June as something to be celebrated. Celebrate your own life and that of your family. Strive to preserve those lives and ensure your survival.

Yes, your life does depend on it. Shitstorm's coming, as sure as the sun rises.

Time is short. And your enemies mean to kill you.

While I agree in principle, I think you perhaps have not identified the cause of the situation.
It was very enlightening when I learned a little history of the Anabaptists and more specifically Mennonites. Do you know why all Mennonite churches are pacifist? It wasnt always so. Early on in the reformation, large groups of Anabaptists and early Mennonites were willing to fight for their beliefs, and did so. They lost. Thus the surviving churches were those who hid, cowered, and lived to carry on. While war and conquest have long been a means of occupying those excessively unruly young men who are otherwise disruptive to peaceful society, The effectiveness with which we have come to killing or emasculating large numbers of them in the last hundred or so years has meant that a similar survivor bias has shrunken the genetic or social groups most likely to stand and fight.
Then consider the implications of some studies I recall reading, but do not have at hand to post here. These showed that those people who strongly support a sports team view that sports team and activity in a manner very similar to how a combat or conquering force might be viewed. Their perceived need to oppose another group can be satiated by their team of -good guys- beating the other peoples team of -not so good guys- in the arena games, regardless of the fact that changes nothing in the real world.
Theres plenty in this thread already about the bread, Ive added a little about the circuses. Yes, I would agree that somewhere, Nero is probably fiddling.
Are you not entertained?

@Kareninca - Sorry to hear about your Mom. Has she tried any consumer level remedies? I've used these for years and they work great. I don't know if they can ameliorate a nuked pancreas, but they do yeoman's work against a belly full of Indian buffet.

But at least at certain points in history, some polities tried to organize the public sphere to be more in line with God's law -- to encourage what is right, to try to have some semblance of justice, to try to discourage what is wrong.

But the changes we've been seeing in the US (and the world generally) for generations now, are moving civilization further and further away from God's law (and natural law).

THIS is why I have such affection for Russia. Yes, there is much that is problematic there -- we all know the litany of flaws -- BUT, here's the thing: Russia, uniquely, is moving in the right direction.

The West is careening ever faster off the cliff of insanity, absurdity, and rejection of all things good and true and beautiful. The West is madly embracing the soul-death, the black hole, of Nihilism.

In contrast, Russia has been rediscovering, embracing, rebuilding on her 1,000-year-old heritage centered on the reality of the Incarnation. It is a sacramental vision of the world, which sees that human nature is God-created and sacred. Meanwhile, the West spits in God's face by envisioning human beings as "hackable animals" -- in the diabolical words of Klaus Schwab's guru Yuval Harari, who sneers at those who believe in "some God up in the sky," and mocks those who believe that human beings are created with free will, by an almighty God who LOVES them.

Every Sunday liturgy in the Eastern churches (Eastern-Rite Catholic as well as Eastern Orthodox) ends with these words of hope for us all: "Jesus... will save us, for He is good, and He loves mankind."

Klaus Schwab, George Soros et al. represent the exact opposite of this:
They would destroy us, for they are evil, and they hate mankind.

I'm not sure which is worse - growing up in these current times, or growing up 20-30 years ago just expecting things to keep growing and getting better, and then ending up here.

When I was young, the very essence of that stage of life called youth was HOPE.

Many of our young people are bordering on despair. The Covid psycho-pandemic was used by diabolical global predators to suck the LIFE out of... LIFE. To zap out of existence such basic elements of what makes humans human -- from seeing each other's faces to sitting around a big table full of people -- that young people are profoundly disoriented and traumatized.

It is hard for us older folks, but I think what's been done to children and young people -- and let us remember, done by deliberate design -- is the worst, a crime against humanity by monstrous freaks whose malevolence is impossible to even fathom. Indeed, the words to describe this global assault on the human species do not even exist yet, not in a single one of the world's thousands of languages.
