What do you call the large number of people that helped the Red Coats during the war.
Canadiens.
Large number forced to leave, go to Great Britain, most chose not too, they would not be welcome there. So many forced to leave by locals etc by any means necessary Burned out, tar feathers etc, went to Canada. An invasion of refuges. It was a large number, anyone with Leanings and/or supported the British in towns/cities/villages etc were forced out. No one stopped them either, but it appears the new govt. endorsed it.
