Ed: From the ever-irreverent Ishmael.....

Ally:  Whoever acts in a way that furthers your cause.

What action do you want to take?

Strikes and quitting jobs are the last peaceful means left before the guns and gasoline come out.  If the right 10% of Americans quit, the ones who move people and freight around the country, clown world would disappear in a week.  Even idiots in D.C. will understand when their grocery store shelves are bare.  When planes and trains don’t move, they’ll get it.

Those folks have the ability to end it the quickest, but what about everyone who doesn’t work in transportation?  Same thing, strikes and walkouts work.  Twenty percent of the workers at any job do 80% of the work.  If you’re in the 20%, you leaving throws things into chaos.  Oh, the company might not realize it for a while since many have a lot of vacation and sick leave to burn before slamming the door.  Companies who pontificated how replaceable everyone is are going to find out the hard way they’re wrong.

Oops.  When 80% of the money and productivity walk out the door they can’t import an H1B or hire a recent college grad.  Training? Forget it.  The company is stuck with a huge, gaping knowledge hole and the only one capable of training the replacement walked out the door!

Don’t have one of those sexy jobs?  You might be part of the 20% and not realize it.

This could be as simple as being the only person who knows how to order supplies in a timely manner or does all the little things everyone takes for granted but no one knows exactly who does it. The secretary throws sand into the gears on her way out because a design engineer has to figure out how to order post-its.

And God help you if the person who walks is in payroll.

Whoever you are, you have the ability to bankrupt the company.

Who are your allies?  What pool of people out there are most likely to act along with you (striked and quitting)?

Some allies are obvious:  folks in the “ain’t no way, no how, no body jabbing me,” crowd are natural allies.  Their actions perfectly align.  Jab mandate?  Good-bye, and the door will not hit them on the way out.

Some people got the first round of clot shots, but don’t believe in mandates.  If they strike or walk, they’re allies.  Some will, some won’t.  If they are supportive, they aren’t enemies, which counts for something.

Some want you to take the jab because they did.  These are not allies.  They range from idiots to true believers.  Don’t engage with idiots. Don’t explain how to pour water out of a boot, they’ll never acknowledge the boot or water exist.  Save your energy for the enemy: the true believer.

There’s the pool of potential allies.  Looks pretty shallow:  purebloods with ****-you money and maybe a few sympathizers.  Remember the 20% rule and don’t lose hope.

But wait purebloods, there is another group of natural allies:  Those who got ****ed by the vax and survived (so far).

People whose loved ones face expensive health problems are going to sit this one out. The parent who was “so proud” of their kid for getting the clot shot only to have him end up in the ICU with a heart attack?   They are going to do whatever it takes to pay for the best treatments possible, including ****ing themselves up the ass to keep their insurance.

These are not the allies.

The working adults who got screwed by the vax are.  Screwed. Hospitalizations, cancer, autoimmune disorders, permanent disabilities.  Not sick for three days, screwed by life altering side effects.

Why are they allies?

ALLIES ACT.

The act is “not working.”

The person with a seizure disorder?  Their life is over.  They can’t drive, they can’t work.  They can’t even live on their own anymore.  What’s more, their loved ones may now have to quit their jobs to take care of them.  Stroke?  Same thing.

If the vax fairy bestowed cancer, will they be able to work?  Will they want to?  Or will they start ticking items off their bucket list, knowing they don’t have much time left and refuse to spend it in a soul sucking job?

Welcome to the general strike, ally!

> screwed by life altering side effects.

One minor thing: they are not side effects. They are the entire point of the jabs.

Great post as usual, Ishmael :)

May I paraphrase?

Waiting is the hardest part. Maybe it is one of those things of "slowly, then all at once." A nursing colleague submits her resignation today. Her last day is October 29th just in time for the October 30th vaxx deadline. She has decades of experience in a specialized area of practice. Her department is already in a world of hurt and it is about to get that much worse. Her manager will be working her job to keep the department running (literally) and this is not an area where one can just walk into and be competent. She will not be working in health care anytime soon (if ever).

The latest risk for nurses, by the way, is that if you get fired for not taking the vaxx, the hospital may report you to the state board of nursing for "safety violations" - in other words, attempt to have your license yanked because you refused to have poison injected into your body. If you quit, there is nothing to report. Very dangerous precedent! Not sure if her hospital would do this, but she is going to make sure they can't.

I am unemployed (already on strike) and I will be spending the day working in my garden beds doing yard work.

That seems like lawsuit bait to me. The safer route would seem to be request religious exemption and dare them deny it then sue for discrimination. Those cases were litigated in recent past by the Obama eeoc against hospitals and they won all of them for the flu vaxx. You guys need to follow Robert Barnes....

I haven't gone on strike, yet. There are still employers in my area worth working for. What I did do is take 7 years of experience and knowledge and walk out the door with it. I do believe I was one of the 20%, a lot of engineers were sad to see me go, almost as if I was relied on to some extent. I've worked almost every weekend for the past year and a half, no more.

Does my leaving cripple the company? No. Did the circumstances of my leaving cause a fair bit of muttering? So I hear. I doubt I'll be the last one gone, especially if they vaxx mandate the place.

It's ok, the military doesn't actually want their aircraft flying, right?

Maine is doubling down.

Having worked with SJW companies, they always double down. Always. So when they hospital closes, they will call for the National Guard to help. Which pulls people from OTHER healthcare jobs, and forces them to be slaves.

Eventually, they walk. Had it happen last year with a few NG's forced to deliver supplies. They were making north of $20, and now making what ever the guard pays for driving trucks. SO they walked.

Fun times.

This. Reminds me of something...

There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so SICK AT HEART, that you can't take part! You can't even passively take part!
And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels ... upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to MAKE it stop!
And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working AT ALL!

Increasingly these vaccines can and will definitely make you 'sick at heart'! smiley

You may be surprised how much you are needed. I was shocked to find out I was that guy once.
I worked for a shop that made and repaired indexable carbide tool holders.
The owner was very aggressive about buying new equipment and expanding rather than ever show a profit.
Every week he'd call an all hands meeting and tell us how he wasn't making any money - yet he would buy a couple of quarter million dollar CNC machines every quarter. I told him that anybody who was smart enough to do the work the shop had was smart enough to understand his business strategy. It would be better to just stop wasting 30 man hours a week telling us stuff nobody believed. He immediately fired me. (Constantly angry square head)
I was the only one in the shop who could repair a series of broaches he contracted with GM to repair. They were very complex and the position of about two dozen inserts in stepped arcs that had to all be +.0003 -.0000 from a base line.
With me gone nobody could repair these and he defaulted on the contract. It was about 30% of the shop's income and he went bankrupt and spent a few months in a mental hospital over that.
Apparently he refused to pay enough to get a new person who could do the high tolerance work and tried several people he already employed. GM kept rejecting the repairs. So he shot himself in the foot at least four times. Over extended with no cash, bull****ting his employees, firing somebody telling him the truth, and failing to fix it by being cheap. I had a new job before I went home that night.

How & when will the jab mandates be reversed?

It seems that Biden has talked a lot of major company CEOs into jab mandates, and various States or Cities have required it for various settings. It is discriminatory in the sense that Congress and certain businesses in each of the affected cities don't require jabs. At some point business (including open to the public) will be hurt enough to cause the mandates to be rolled back (or the hits will get bigger).

When they get rolled back I imagine most people who were affected would want compensation. Every day there are more affected and the perceived loss grows. The anger when compensation is denied is going to show up somewhere.

When you aim a weapon at someone there will be consequences, whether it is loaded or not. As bad as the implementation of mandates are, undoing them might be messier. If the hope of mandate rollbacks are to get the affected people back, will it work? I don't think Biden can go on tv and just say oh, nevermind like Gilda Radner did ...

A friend and I were talking the other day.

He doesn't believe the mandate will be rolled back. To many ego's involved, and most CEO and Director class people live by the mantra "Never be wrong. No matter what!!"

Crash the company? Well blame the dirty unvaxed. Hospital so short staffed people are dying? Well send troops in to do the work. Troops deserting? Just start hanging a few! HOW DARE THEY DISRESPECT MY AUTHORITY!

Spending a life time in the corporate world has me thinking he is right. They would rather die in the dark than roll back the mandate. They would rather send in goons with guns going door to door than letting this slide.

@Jwm_in_sb
My nursing colleague had a signed representation agreement with an attorney to go after the hospital (her employer). At the last minute, the attorney backed out and said he would not take the case. She couldn't get legal counsel on such a short period of time. (You don't go looking for a lawyer if you think you HAVE a lawyer.) That was when she made the decision to resign her employment.

The Oregon Board of Nursing is looking at making the vaxx a formal requirement for holding a nursing license in the state. This is in the hearing stage - I believe the first hearing is today October 13th.

What an employer can do without formal rules such as are being contemplated by Oregon is file a complaint with the board against the nurse. My colleague is not sure if her hospital would do this, but given all the other crap they have pulled, she is not waiting around to find out. This puts coercion at a whole other level. The process is the punishment even if you win. There is no liability for whoever files a complaint.

@Redjack - let them die.

If they send in the goons burn the goon's house while he's out doing his thing. A single gallon of gas will take care of a LOT of goons. Said goons aren't so ****ing "tough" when the OTHER GUY's home is a smoking hole. The quit rate at the local goonshop will to go to 75% in an afternoon. No, they can't call in reinforcements -- there aren't enough of them to do so in any other than a small area at a given time. This **** starts it becomes national within hours. Yes, they'll hunt you down. And? Once someone pronounces a death sentence upon you and does it without preventing you from taking retribution **** THEM and make damn sure you don't go down with a score of 0-1 on the board.

Once they decide to use physical force there is utterly no reason for you to sit there and wait for them to come to you. **** that ****. If they declare the rule of law is dead then so be it. That sword has two edges and yours should be run up their ass 30 seconds after their declaration by either word or deed.

They want to play the game at the level of physical force? They will lose, and lose BADLY. There just aren't enough of them to win and they know it. The second that starts insurance will become unobtanium and every one of these **********s is levered up to their necks due to their "safe government job" from which they can't be fired. Never mind "act of war or insurrection" style exclusions in EXISTING policies. Oh yes, they're there. Go read yours. Said goon now has a mortgage on a smoking hole, the claim is denied and he still has to pay. He's ****ed, his family is ****ed, and if you think he's going to show up for work tomorrow -- no he isn't. Bullies only keep up their bull**** until they get punched in the nose; they do what they do because nobody waits until they commit to their course of action and then cuts their legs out from under them.

Ever see what force-placed insurance costs? More than the mortgage, in many cases, especially when the goon down the street's place is still smoldering.

Good luck *******s -- if they start this they will not only lose they will not be able to turn it back off.

"They" know all of this, which is why it hasn't happened. NY passed their "gun law" and nobody complied. They know who owns them. Why didn't go forcibly arrest all of them? THIS. You think they're suddenly going to stone-up and start pulling this **** over a jab? No ****ing way. This sort of "soft coercion" bull**** is what they're trying instead. Draw the equivalence line where it needs to go and stick up the middle finger -- at the point they make it impossible for you to survive then you make it impossible for THEM to survive. Dead is dead and everyone dies EXACTLY ONCE.

@Susanlauren - Credible threats of force which the government refuses to step in front of and prosecute leave one with only two options: Die or attack first. Neither is particularly palatable but you do what you have to do if it comes to that.

Unlikely to help me keep my job, but I have been encouraged to have the test as a "possible " out.

I'm also the only one at my unit as a "**** No", the others have said they will take jab in order to keep job if no out.
This was reported to our CEO this am.

I do not know if there are others in the company standing firm.

Another ally in the coming future is parents that don't want their kids jabbed (no matter if they are jabbed or unjabbed). It is one thing for an adult to either take or not take the jab but anyone that has kids certainly question what is put in their bodies more than an adult. Put in a jab mandate for a 5 year old to go to school and we'll find out right quick what people think of mandates.

Very good information! I only have reservations with one thing mentioned:

"Even idiots in D.C. will understand when their grocery store shelves are bare. When planes and trains dont move, theyll get it."

I don't think those things happening will affect enough of "them." Sure the brown shirts will feel squeezed up until they're given a new teevee and subscription to net****s but will no doubt tow the line and double down on colossal sized stupid.

I personally don't believe in "**** happens" or coincidences. These ****sticks in positions of power here and throughout the world have planned this **** for years! They don't do random. Everything is planned, calculated, war gamed, and executed with absolute precision. They have thought of just about every contingency; including a pop wide general strike. These people are nearly unbelievably diabolical. You accept this and things make a little more sense.
