Ive been lurking for a few months and decided to post for the first time today.

First, I HUGE THANK YOU to Karl and all the commentariat! You are THE BEST! I love you all!

Todays ticker really hit home with me. I have been a 30-year member of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and often sent in extra donations because I really believed in their mission.

Then last weekend they sent out an e-mail stating that a vax pass or a 72-hour PCR test would be required for entry starting November 1st.

As a non-vaxxed member, I promptly sent them a 3-page letter stating in detail my opposition to this. Furthermore, due to their new entry requirement I would NOT be renewing my membership, I would NOT be sending any extra donations, and I would NOT be naming them in my estate plan. (I am 70 years old and ready to make a will. The Aquariums endowment fund was first on my list as beneficiary for over HALF of my 7-figure estate.)

Then this morning I get an e-mail (I was still on their member list) asking for more money. Your donation has never been more urgently needed!

I thought, OK, my money is still good enough for you? But my physical presence isnt?

(I think Karl could more colorfully express my response to this.)

I hit Unsubscribe and Delete and then had a good cry.

Something I just thought of that hasn't been discussed here that I can think of. Many are saying FU to it all and leaving their jobs. I imagine most are losing health insurance or having to buy it on your own now (total nightmare). I've said before that I'm not going to go to any doctor any time soon unless I absolutely had to, like an accident or something. If you choose not to get health insurance now that you don't trust anything the medical cartel is doing, an accident could wipe you out if your savings are in places like a bank. It might be really wise to put a good portion in something like precious metals that no one but yourself knows about and the value can't be extorted out of you. I'm no gold bug by any stretch, but it's something to think about. What they don't know exists, they can't extort from you. Also, another way of saying FU to the banksters. I'm sure a lot have already thought of it and are doing it, but maybe some haven't thought of it yet.

We're pretty much as bare bones as we can get, other than downsizing and moving to a different house, which I have no desire to do. We moved into this one-story 20 years ago to have somewhere to "age in place".

Our mortgage was paid off several years ago, and our cars are paid for, except for a new RV that we bought this year. We decided to pay half, and finance the other half until next year because it would put us into a higher tax bracket to have pulled all that money out at one time. Some would say it was a stupid thing to do, but we can easily afford it, and it's not a real expensive one. If we wanted to, we could write a check for the balance today, so I'm not worried about that.

We purchased the RV because we wanted to travel and will never fly again. My husband had to occasionally travel for his job before he retired, but I haven't flown for probably 10-15 years, and hated it even back then. Taking my shoes off was the last straw.

Someone above mentioned cancelling tickets for a concert at Red Rocks. We had one on our radar that we originally planned to attend this month, but the requirement was fully vaccinated or a negative test. No thanks! We may decide to attend a concert in the future if you do away with the idiotic requirements.

@Disgusted - Get an Obamacare policy and consider it "trauma care".

Because that is the only way you should ever go near a hospital or doctor until and unless this **** is sorted out.

I told people for the last 10 years to get off the "pop a pill" train and do whatever they had to in order to accomplish that.

I wasn't joking.

@Robackrman

You can tell them to take a temp on your wrist. Early on when this **** went down, I had to take my son to the University of Oklahoma school of dentistry for affordable and pay cash wisdom teeth pulling. They wanted to take forehead temp with the gun before entering the building and I quickly told the nurse that you know you can take the temp on the inside of the wrist. You are not holding that thing up to my head and pulling a trigger. She was actually cool about it and said she just learned something new when she took the wrist temp. How a nurse doesn't know that you can take a temp there is beyond me.

I don't go to restaurants, bars, events and if I did and they required vax or mask I wouldn't go anyway. I much prefer to fish, hunt, jet ski, paddleboard, tinker, garden etc.

I am closing on a 2nd property in a couple of weeks just 10 minutes from me. I didn't really want to purchase yet but I got a 5.4 acre manicured lot, fully fenced, cross fenced and gated with a small pond, 1700 sq' house, an extra already excavated building pad for another house, huge concrete block shop and several outbuildings, well, septic, owned propane tank. It's set back a ways from the street with a long narrow driveway for $170k and no financing. Paying cash. My son is getting married and I plan to rent to own to them and if the need be, put up another house on the other building pad and have another son live and rent or own too if he chooses. Good to have options and I didn't really want to sit on all cash with this whacky economy and who knows what the banks can and will do.

@Disgusted - if available in your state, look for short term insurance. Its what I use in case of emergency and is a heck of a lot less expensive than Obummercare.

I admit I'm not up on Obamacare and how it works because the wife and I are on her work policy, but it may come to that soon. I was under the impression that if you aren't working at all with no income, you would automatically go on Medicaid, which doesn't sound good at all? I guess I'll need to research it all. I still think having some highly liquid assets that the extortionists don't and can't know about is a good thing.

Debt free also. Seems to be a pattern among the TF bunch. I started reparing my own cars, because I got tired of fixing what the mechanics tried to fix. Easier just to do it myself!

As far as concerts, we went to see Green Day a while back and an Astros playoff game. No mask and no vax here in Texas!

Not being on the "Pop a Pill" train is a definite plus when applying for a religious exemption regarding fetal tissue and Covid vaccines. Can honestly say I am not on any prescription medicines that could have been developed/tested using fetal cells.

All the other meds some places are saying were developed using fetal cells, I have found no need for allergy meds if I nasal rinse twice a day and eat a clean diet. Heat and Ice can be used for the muscle aches, and headaches often are cured with some caffeine.

"Cramped flight, masked all the way"

@joancrawford, and others, check this out: https://fakemaskworldwide.com/

They are legit. Looks like the real thing but breathes like mesh. Completely worthless but impossible to tell.

My last flight in August, I did not wear a mask at all in the airports except through security. Not even around my chin. When TSA asked me to pull down the mask so they could verify my ID, I left it down, then removed it entirely until it was time to board. The mix of looks I got: many men were shamed, some women were openly contemptuous, no one said a single word. When I would walk past one of the very few others going maskless in the airports, I could tell we were already best friends.

A Report on Myocarditis Adverse Events in the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) in Association with COVID-19 Injectable Biological Products

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/ar....
Quote:

These findings suggest a markedly higher risk for myocarditis subsequent to COVID-19 injectable product use than for other known vaccines, and this is well above known background rates for myocarditis. COVID-19 injectable products are novel and have a genetic, pathogenic mechanism of action causing uncontrolled expression of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein within human cells. When you combine this fact with the temporal relationship of AE occurrence and reporting, biological plausibility of cause and effect, and the fact that these data are internally and externally consistent with emerging sources of clinical data, it supports a conclusion that the COVID-19 biological products are deterministic for the myocarditis cases observed after injection.

We've been 'starving the beast' since we wised up many years ago via Karl's writings on the Market Ticker. That includes my decision to stay out of the work force permanently, get out of debt and stay that way. (A million thanks Karl, again, for the education. It has been truly life changing!!!)

I'm 62 with no known health problems and while DH has issues, he's doing pretty good...again due in no small part to Karl's prolific writing on LCMPHF.

If anyone thinks we are going to be injected with what could be literal poison, possibly jeopardizing the Blessing of good health thus far in my life and possibly worsening DH's already compromised health, not to mention potentially killing us, they are certifiably insane.

To all those in the difficult predicament of No Jab/No Job and who choose to walk away...smiley. Utmost respect. I think this is war and you are on the frontlines.

Meanwhile, we will continue doing all we can as members of Team Money Gods!

@Tickergroupie....I concur with your last sentence... these people are the true heroes. I have been self employed for the past 25 years so only person mandating anything for me concerning my employment is me. Thinking back to my younger days when I did work for corporate America and was in debt having to make this decision would have been gut wrenching.... I would like to think I would have done the right thing then. I bow down to those who are telling their employers to shove it. Debt is ruinous....you are not truly free till you have the power to walk away. To all of you here making that difficult decision, I applaud you and wish you only the best.

yes at one time or another we all voted for that or a version thereoff . For the first time in my life I didn't vote this year. Been voting since 1967. And you know what could happen when people start opting out of the system.

The only big question for me is:

Is that virus and it's delivery mechanism intentional?

If so by whom?

Are we in a situation for a casus belli?

In the mean time I thank Karl and all the commentariat for their hepfull comments. This site has been an exceptional venue and learning experience. Thank y'all !

@Disgusted I'm in the same boat insurance-wise, if my career comes to an abrupt end. I'm looking at medical sharing groups, but like KD says, I view insurance as a catastrophic backstop. I have an HDHP currently.

Your advice is to punish Covid-compliant businesses by withdrawing your custom. I agree with your instincts, but I fear this is not going to stop this madness.

Look at California banning all gas powered off-road engines. Newson says the California government will spend a lot of magic money helping businesses convert to battery operated machinery. But why?

Intelligent enquiring minds, and the elites running this show, all know that CO2 is not the cause of climate change and so neither are emissions, but they are persuing this agenda. Why? Lithium battery production causes terrible environmental damage, similar to gold, so why is this preferable to fossil fuels for the earth huggers?

Well, we know the people in control don't give one iota for the earth, that is not a consideration, neither is your comfort or happiness. All they want is power, so when someone like Newson comes out with orders such as these, how does this further the interests of his sponsors, the ruthless elites who's interest is total authoritarian control: power for its own sake.

Once we are all totally dependent on the electricity grid, they will have total control over the delivery of power to each individual. There will not be any gas alternatives, no portable generators. Everybody will have to charge their batteries through their internet connected - and hence controlled - personal electricity account.

If you are like Karl and refuse jab booster number 100, then your electricity will be disconnected until you obey. Similarly, if you do not watch TV News for over an hour a day, your electricity allowance will be reduced. Surely the corporate mandates in place at the moment demonstrate how this is more than likely to happen.

Punishing the companies compliant with Covid regulations is one way to help persuade them to start pushing back, which is good. But we are being attacked by a bunch of power hungry psychopaths on a war charge and have planned this for decades. They are not going to give in just because some people are pushing back. They already have total control over the media that the majority are connected to so why would they ever need to pull back?

What exactly is the solution? The deciding power lies with the military. Either the military comes out for the people or it comes out for the psychopaths. The psychopaths will probably eventually have to use the military to crush the disobedient if they are going to fully take over the USA, although you can see that they are trying to avoid this level of overt aggression. The alternative is that more and more people are going to be backed into a corner - one at a time - and there will not be any significant push back from any substantial fraction of the population, so each individual will eventually be crushed until powerless.

Will elections make a difference? Difficult to say but going by Trump's record, even if you get someone in there who is willing to try and do stuff, that person will likely be sabbotaged by the psychopaths like Bolton, Pompeo, the Democrats and all their puppet masters - big corporates, intelligence agencies and bank owners. If that were the case, the political theatre that is currently on display is likely to break down completely and be replaced with outright factional fighting that would freeze the governing process and result in the president taking emergency powers then probably being assassinated. The military would then probably get involved and who knows what would happen then.

Remember that Australian bill that allowed foreign military to wander the streets of Australia without any liability? Is that not a strong signal to the Australian military that if they disobey the government then the government may invite the UN or some other military to enter the country and help enforce law and order? I wonder if they have made similar provisions for the USA.
