Biden specifically stated in his press conference that testing was an acceptable alternative. I'd have that queued up on my phone if any HR droid was making noise.

They all LOVE Biden and support him 100%. Use his words against him.

LA County sheriff says they will not enforce the vax mandate because they are already understaffed. Perhaps a sliver of hope?

If there is an excess death rate in working age people due to the safe and effective jabs shouldn't we see life insurance costs go up? 2020 seems like almost all COVID19 deaths were aged 65+ statistically none of whom would have life insurance. I don't think any life insurance companies are woke or give a **** about politics.

I was on a hiring call and heard complaints of several high-level applicants not considering the openings due to forced jabs. Anyone who says this is a nuisance issue is not involved in hiring in a hyper-competitive environment for the skills we look for.

Yeah, that almost seems like a Catch-22 situation. If the applicant is sharp enough to do the high level information processing/decision making you need, then they have already discerned the jab is a bad idea. If they haven't figured out the jab is a bad idea then they may not actually have the skill set looked for.
Just leaves a smaller, fuzzy middle-ground pool to hire from: Smart but Jab True Believers, Go along to get alone types and desperate for a job at any cost types.

And then you have these high-level job applicants [humor]:

@Thegreatubwashed , I may know if an individual who might have downloaded a blank card from the internet . He may have used it to enter an entertainment venue. He might even be considering using it to keep his job.
His boss likely told him HR just needs to see the damn card , flash it and keep your mouth shut

I would have thought the same thing about requiring the vaxx to come into the office for orientation. The only problem is that the office is in Arizona and I am in Ohio and the position is remote work from home. Perhaps they are doing it for the sake of simplicity so as to not to need to track who is vaxxed and who is not. Whatever. I will not be working there.

I do not have the intellectual ability to extract this info, but I have just enough to understand it when you present it, which makes me VERY grateful to benefit from your daily teaching. I share via my measly twit account as well as with any family/friends who may give a damn. Sadly many just plug their ears and say "I'd rather just not know" which makes me want to scream - it's very frustrating. Sincerely, I don't think I could ever adequately THANK YOU for your hours preparing and sharing your work as I consider it invaluable!

@Packetcap: The commitments I mentioned are not current job duty related. They are matters that require my attention on a level where the current work arrangement allows me to deal with them and if that I need to let work suffer to give more attention to those matters, then it's not like I'm losing sleep worrying about my next review. It's simply more convenient right now. These are things that will not be an issue in January.

To those looking for employment, I recommend redballoon.work as a good place to start. It may not have what you are looking for, where you are looking for, but it is a start.

The gab.com no vax jobs board also has some good posts.

"Imagine an employer asking their employees to complete a "do you have AIDS" survey."

Exactly what the Denzel Washington/Tom Hanks movie "Philadelphia" dealt with from the legal side. Check it out if you haven't seen it.

Took my daughter to her doctors appointment yesterday. On the early check-in website, they asked if she has been vaxxed. Of the 5 answers available, the one I selected was "I prefer not to answer".

None of their damned business.

@Larryboy: This WILL escalate. The fools on the board of directors put a group of arsonists in charge of the company a few years ago after the most foolish merger in this telecom company's history. I'm not advertising it, but anyone in or around the industry who has read my posts where I mention this place can probably suss out which one it is.

Every telecom out there hates being in the voice business, but this one really hates it, even though it's 1/3 of their revenue and no small part of their earnings. The executives on every companywide Zoom meeting all love telling us how everything voice related is being "managed for cash." There have been ZERO COLA's for 5 years now. Company wide, not just voice. My boss has taken care of me about every other year because he needs me, but it's nothing to brag about. I put up with this long because I like what I do, but these *******s have changed that now. I can't take any level of pride in the work they are having us do now. My boss relayed a conversation that he and our director had with one of the HR execs a couple years ago about the no raises unless without executive VP approval. She dug in her heels and told them that until they saw a large number of people quitting, they were deeming that to be the correct policy. They tried to tell her that once that happens, it's too late. Those people won't come back and they won't be able to get skilled and experienced engineers because of their reputation. She didn't care. Now people are leaving. A lot of them. Key people. Their dumbass vaccine policy is pouring gasoline onto the fire they already started.

"Is 75:1 a reasonable ratio for VAERS underreporting?"

@Edwardteach Steve Kirsch was arguing for 41 in a paper he wrote. See his twitter feed. That might be conservative, but he had some empirical basis for it.

First time I've posted but have been LONG time lurker - I started following you after hearing you on the Ron Smith show on WBAL. First I cant thank @Tickerguy enough - I know it's been said a lot but you've saved my life at least twice (first was LCHFMP - I lost 40 lbs and second is this evil jab business that I'll never take!!) I'm a defense contractor that has at lot of letters that describe my clearance levels that starts with "TS" and I'm facing "unpaid leave" in the next month or so. **** them.
I wanted to mention a video of Dr Mercola and Dr David Martin that's on bitchute as I haven't seen it mentioned. Dr Martin follows the paper trail that seem to have lead to all of this. It's long but interesting and supports alot of that TG has been saying for a long time. https://www.bitchute.com/video/rh4mhFrq2....
Thanks again to our host and ALL the commenters here. You all are great and have been a lot of help to me.

Many, if not most, local businesses have drastically cut back their hours. The only fast food joint with in house eating now is Subway. The rest can't field enough employees to do anything but drive thru. Was at a small used bookstore last week, well tried to anyway but their hours are now down to 11-3. How does any business survive on just 4 hours of business a day?

I also have a small used bookstore and have reduced my hours to just 4/day. 80% of our sales were coming during that 4 hour window and with those limited hours no longer need employees, so we're actually making more with the shorter days.

I'm inclined to be disconcerted by this, but the more I think about it, the less I understand it.

Telecommunications companies hating... voice calling? I guess I don't understand what a telecom business is. Then again, we have IP phone service.

Are you referring to copper wire service?

I heard a guy got fired at Northrop Grumman for fake vax ID....he was up against a large group of very scared folks who believe everyone should be vaxed and wear masks...there's a lot of people out there who are very afraid..so you can see the employers dilemma. There is that group who expects the company to protect them...
a terrible situation for all...bribe($$$) the tech to squirt the dose in the air and get the id. (that's a joke and not recommended if the government is monitoring this site)

@Jack_crabb - all you need to do is go to the CDC's own excess mortality site and you'll see that they show excess deaths (all cause) basically every single week of 2021. It peaked again recently but remember it can take a while to process deaths and backfill the data, so September will likely be higher than August when all is said and done:

@Evilcecil I saw your post and had to post as well. Not really to add anything to this discussion, but like you, I'm a LONG time lurker who also found tickerguy through Ron Smith's radio show on WBAL.

Too bad we lost the "voice of reason" in Ron Smith. I can only wonder what he would have to say about the vaccine mandates...

Just amazing. The mother is excited to see side effects. What is it TG likes to say. DIE DIE DIE LOL.

A 6-year-old boy from Roswell talked to Channel 2 Action News about his participation in a recent clinical study testing the effectiveness and potential side effects of the Moderna vaccine in young children.

Right after my second dose, I had a big splotchy thing around here, my shoulder, Willy Randall said.

The child received his shots in August and September at Emory University Hospital, which helped carry out the clinical study.

In the study, half of the participants receive a placebo of saline, the other half received the vaccine. Willys mom said given the soreness and slight fever her child experienced following the second dose, shes pretty certain he got the vaccine.

We were very excited to see some side effects. Unfortunately with Delta being so contagious and his classmates not eligible yet, this doesnt mean he can take off his mask and do whatever. And hes got a 4-year-old brother that we are hoping to get in his age groups trial in the next few weeks, Lori Randall said.

The net attrition rate at my company has been about 1% per month over the last few months.

They are hiring, but can't keep up with the retirements and people leaving. I suspect that number will increase substantially in the next couple of months with Uncle Joe's mandate.
