It seems the direct link to the article isn't working, I went to the website and found the story, but, if i click on the headline it errs, however if I click on the readmore link at the base it goes to the full article.

so working, sort of :)

Anyone see that collection of employees at Panorama Education. Such a woke kaleidoscope of race. I've been to Boston. It's not that diverse. Wonder how many were diversitee hires.

From CTH article:

"AG Merrick Garlands Daughter Married to Co-Founder of Education Company Selling Critical Race Theory Resource Material to School Districts
October 5, 2021 | Sundance | 302 Comments
Well, well, well This is interesting. U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland recently instructed the FBI to begin investigating parents who confront school board administrators over Critical Race Theory indoctrination material. The U.S. Department of Justice issued a memorandum to the FBI instructing them to initiate investigations of any parent attending a local school board meeting who might be viewed as confrontational, intimidating or harassing.

Attorney General Merrick Garlands daughter is Rebecca Garland. In 2018 Rebecca Garland married Xan Tanner [LINK]. Mr. Xan Tanner is the current co-founder of a controversial education service company called Panorama Education. [LINK and LINK] Panorama Education is the social learning resource material provider to school districts and teachers that teach Critical Race Theory.

Conflict of interest much?

Yes, the Attorney General is instructing the FBI to investigate parents who might pose a financial threat to the business of his daughters husband."

Great find @Bzelbob, they're all connected...

I wonder how the new class of domestic terrorist parents will respond to these latest revelations. They had to know this information was easily discovered. It is in your face arrogance. Bastards. BTW the added info made the Ticker even better than it was originally. Take away peaceful protest and you get uprising.

I get that we are all paying taxes to support local public education. Some would view walking away to form private schools or home schools as giving up. However, those options may be an efficient way to collapse the education system. At the rate we are going, we may be back to the single room school house.

Was thinking more of the "Wag-the-Dog" angle where Zuck, who's under the microscope at the moment with the "whistleblower" (whatever you make of that)
would appreciate public eyes being directed elsewhere...

Just sayin.

What about "stand your ground" laws?

If you "feel" you are being threatened you have a right to take defensive action.

Is that only physically threatened?

If you feel your free speech rights are being threatened, surely you can, similarly, take defensive action.

Anyhow, propaganda does have a physical component. Children in schools are basically a captive audience. That was the argument with the original idea of CRT, right? That minority children were being force-fed curricula that did not reflect their experience?

Why can't the same argument be used in these CRT cases?

Children should not be the targets of ANY propaganda.

Just as they should not be the targets of dodgy medical interventions.

Any school worth it's salt will allow a parent to audit the class at any time. Of course with the covid nonsense too many are using it push the agenda without oversight.

Be aware of any school that will not allow direct audit of the classroom.

Longtime lurker. They dont care if you homeschool. Less kids they have to teach and still get paid. Remember every single homme and business pays taxes to the district regardless if you have a child in school or not.

So we can add the Garlands to the ever growing list of multi-generational political grifters: Bidens, Bushs, Clintons, Kerrys, Manchins, Pelosis, Romneys, etc.

@Susanlauren..... one room school houses would be a good thing. I went through elementary school in a 3 room school house, always 2-3 grades per teacher in each room. The brightest in the upper classes were recruited to tutor the slowest in the lower classes, discipline was strictly enforced. The extra education that came from helping others as well as learning from the upper class instructions for the bright students was invaluable. We know HOW to educate in this country, it's just that we've surrendered it all to the unions and politicians. Shame on us.

re one-room schoolhouse.

Best education.
I was so lucky.
Four grades in one room.
We loved our teacher.
We loved our playground.
I think our teacher actually loved us.
Then they opened up the other school room and retained grades 5 and 6, so now there were three grades in each room.
So, in all I had six years of multigrade teaching.
I think the reason was the baby boom: they were short of space in the high school in town, so they kept us in the village school for grades 5 and 6.
Obviously, the smart and motivated pupils listened in on all the lessons.
Back in the fifties I think managing such a situation was part of teacher training.
Best of all were the spelling tests.
Teach gave words for all grades, in succession.
The smart ones wrote down ALL the words.
Ha ha. Do they even have spelling tests anymore?

The public education system is a cruel joke on the American people. It has been going woke/socialist for some time, and I think it's now coming out just how far they have gone and how bad it has become. I have read that it takes 3 generations to completely change a system, and I think we've reached that point. I'm long past having kids in the system, but if I did these days, I would have to home school them.

The Washington DC "Rules for Looting" allow for judges to collect their fair share of the loot, but they must maintain the appearance of being honest and impartial.

His personal involvement is a blunder that disturbs the orderly flow of the loot. No Christmas, New Years, holidays party invitations for him.

Now, lawyers across the nation will be rooting through the twenty plus years of his cases at the DC Appeals Court. There's blood in the water. Post a lookout for the sharks.

It sounds as if you had an excellent education. I remember happening upon an 8th grade test covering multiple subjects from over 100 years ago. Damn. What do I know? What did I learn? What have multiple degrees taught me? I could barely pass the thing - C student at best. I doubt many of our high school students could pass that test either. We need to go back to a better era for ethics/ morals, education and civil society. Shame on all of us.
