Seems like a lot of companies are saying "We will comply, no matter what the states say!"

And the states are following along.

Look at the cheap dress in SD.

This is brilliant. I am sending on to my state reps now. I have forwarded on to 3 others that I think will send as well. While I know DeWine will never sign it if it ever got that far that might be as good as it being enacted. The more people are exposed to how little government cares about us the more converts we should be welcoming to the fold. A win either way in my eyes.

OT a bit.

UAW just voted to authorize a strike at big green tractors. One thing to be discussed is the vax.

Big Green, being ran by Gates and Buffet, is sending signals they will not budge. Friends who work in management there are being trained for working on the floor with the anticipation of the strike starting in October.

So at least one union is fighting back.

Sounds good but would have to be carefully worded to allow a bio-lab to still require isolation gear or emergency responders don gear. Just because that is obvious and rational doesn't mean some total idiot won't try to ignore it.

Okay, then I'll ask because this isn't by wheelhouse, when Biden mentioned rolling over the governors, would could this mean?

For example, lets say he fired off an executive order, by what measure would states be able to oppose it?

With the threat of losing my job looming on the horizon, a synopsis of where we are at, what is still to be determined, and an actual lawful offensive is of interest.

I think a lot of us have over the last 3 or 4 years found at least one relationship with a long time "friends" or even family that was built on sand. You think you know someone for 40 years and it turns out you didn't. At all. Even worse when it's family. Welcome to 2021 version of 1860 Amerika. I can't say what will happen from here, but I am certain that there is no going back. This country as a united political, social and economic unit is over. You put a load of tomatoes in a blender and hit the puree button, you've never getting tomatoes again.

That should be fun, given your typical manager does not like to do this kind of work, nor are they any good at it.

@Bagbalm - Insisting someone "don gear" is not prohibited, so long as everyone is required to "don gear."

If a firm wishes to require masks, PPE or (for example) SCBA gear that's fine, provided it is not only certain people based on their medical status that have to do so.

So in other words, if big green tractor goes on strike, cancel any orders you have in with them since you're going to have moron MBA's manning the assembly floor and doing QC.

I see that (and so does my load-tracking system.)

This time, however, since the "bigger" configuration remains active it is not bothering anything performance-wise. smiley

@Redjack, those tax breaks and political business favors are sure paying off aren't they?

As things unfold the actions of DC become more clear.

Brilliant piece KD, I hope some of these RINO asshats use this bit of hard work you have out forth. Unfortunately I do not see any of them actually doing anything beneficial for us plebes. They gain just as much as the Dems in this power grab and in the past they have done little to nothing to stop any of the power mongering and often quite the opposite (Patriot Act creation and passing it into law against Dem opposition).

I love this too, but being in the People's Republic of Crappyfornia, finding a sympathetic audience would be slim. Especially now with the recall vote going just as we all thought it would... sheesh.

Yeah...

He is a great guy. But accountants are not parts monkies. While some engineers are good welders, I am not going to bet on that.

Already told the back home folks to get the parts on hand for planting season ASAP.

Which is another strain on the supply chain. I am certain every person on that line is thinking the same thing.

BTW KD, Don't you think there are not already laws against this? Like the Bill of Rights, which are under fire by RINO's and Democrats? The US is violating their charter, thus breach of contract. The same is true, of the States. There is a prohibition of Titles of Nobility. A Title of Nobility is a grant of privilege by the Government. A denial of recourse for damages, is a Title of Nobility, that they can operate without recourse. Banks used to risk the wealth of the banker. Not any more. We always get the Bill. I think granting the power to create money, without recourse is a Title of Nobility, as well. There is a fraud, known as FDIC insurance. Since the depositors possess all the money there is, who really pays and who gets away?

This entire matter is being run at massive cost to us and solely to the benefit, of the Medical Corporations and drug companies. Why can't we get cheap and effective drugs and instead are being held down and having it put up our asses? Why is the use of Remdesivir even allowed, as it has probably killed 50 times as many as it has saved. How many people are hospitals killing. I saw on a video, they were testing people who blew their brains out.
