They can fire you verbally.

But -- if you file unemployment they must respond and challenge it or you get the money. And if they challenge it they have to explain why, in detail, and its under penalty of perjury too.

Well, spoke with upper management and company I work for is not combining with related company that we share resources with and follow same plans. They were under same opinion as me that this **** wont get passed. Glad I work where I do and owners are pretty religious and care about rights, etc. hell, I doubt the other company will follow this ****, but we didnt get into that. I may ask next time the opportunity arises.

Absolutely correct.

We fired an employee verbally; she later came after us for unemployment. She used a company credit card for personal expenses; we then submitted her entire (voluminous) employee history of occasional misconduct to the state unemployment folks. We had a conference call with her conferenced in to review the claim after we'd sent them the entire file; I could just about hear her pissing her pants as the State denied her claim.

Her claim understandably was denied.

I suspect we will never be on her Christmas card list. Last I'd heard, she moved to bum**** Missouri, and is a Walmart employee.

I used to have to deal with this **** all the time.

Fire employee for not coming into work; no-call, no-show. The job? Front-desk receptionist. Yah. You're fired.

Goes and files for unemployment. Fired "without cause."

Oh really? Guess who has all the time cards? That would be me. And the write-ups. That'd be me too. Uh huh.

Update to my story, I used the open door policy at my employer to discuss the yet to be published ClotShot or test policy. The conversation went well, and I provided good data. I'm hopeful they might choose to test all employees regardless of treatment status which I find tolerable for the short term. Still considering a religious exemption from all unnecessary testing. For now, my religion only allows me to test when symptomatic illness is present.

@Forrestbh see the new study (linked on the other thread) appearing to prove vaxxed are substantially more likely to be symptomatic spreaders. That should add to your argument.
