By now you might have heard me comment on the fact that I work in clinical trials. I know things about this ya'll don't know and I cant say anything specific because ..well..take a guess.

My grandmother died from AH. My undergraduate research was in AH and I was published with my class on our research. I'm struggling here to be general... let me just say.. solid pass.

In a nutshell, the CGG-CGG sequence, which does not occur in nature, is present in the SARS-CoV2 virus.

I noted that interesting sequence in early 2020..... and while I did not know there was no other coronavirus with it, what I DID know, since it looked odd, is that it's NOT a configuration found in anything but humans, so there goes the zoonotic thing on an almost-conclusive basis.

That was one of the pillars of my original presumption that it was a Wuhan lab accidental release.

Guys, the reason why I expect the ADE think to be muted is because it can only occur when someone has the covid-19 antibodies in them. Once the antibodies have disappeared, someone who is vaccinated should be at minimal risk for ADE reactions. So, if the ADE thing does occur, it will not be a mass dieoff. It will, however, fill up the hospitals and we have to go through the economic shutdowns again.

Obseedian, I have seen enough about HCQ and Ivermectin that those 2 drugs have the potential to implode the entire scam of medicine since 1980. Both are evidently agents against viral replication. That alone would blow up the Flu business. Horse parasite medicine might cut the cost of medicine by 50%. What would hospitals do without their pneumonia patients? It wouldn't shock me, if Ivermectin worked better than this new drug. It would shock me, if a US MD ever wrote an Ivermectin script for that purpose. Wonder why medicine in the USA is 3X ormore what it should be? Working 8 years to pay for a lifetime supply of poison?

So what's the big deal, right? Boomers will do anything to keep from aging, including killing themselves.

The boomer attitude (and I be one) is also to do anything to keep from reaping the consequences of their own actions. Just keep doubling down to try to preserve their own SS and Medicare by running deficits through the roof, and driving the economy off a cliff. Future generations be damned, as long as we don't have to pay for our own follies.

@Bodhi. The Social Security and Medicare system is one very large ponzi scheme. It will collapse because it isn't financially viable. Those boomers of whom you speak have paid a lifetime of contributions into these government programs. If a good portion of folks die before they can collect ... Well golly gee ... Those unfunded liabilities all go away, now don't they.

We would do far better if we used a veterinary medicine approach as our health care model. We pay out of pocket for our four legged furry friends, cost effective treatments are used and sensible treatment decisions are made. It would cut costs dramatically. Not to mention, Karl put forth a workable model in one of his tickers. Will any of this actually happen? Hell no ...

As have I. But I will get back far more than I and my employers paid in over the years. I was my own employer for about half that time, so I paid both ends of the FICA tax for many years.

SS was meant to be a safety net to supplement the meager savings and pension plans most people used to have. It wasn't meant to be one's full means of support. But as with most government programs SS was "enhanced" with extra benefits.

Exactly what we used to do when I was a kid. My mom always cut a check at the end of my doctor appointments for services rendered. The only insurance was for hospitalization.

A landmark trial to test mRNA vaccines against COVID-19 in Africa cant get the coveted shots
By Jon CohenJun. 7, 2021 , 3:35 PM

Sciences COVID-19 reporting is supported by the Heising-Simons Foundation.

The questions are urgent, and the funding is in place. But a highly anticipated, $130 million clinical trial, meant to test the efficacy of the novel messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines for COVID-19 against a key variant of the pandemic coronavirus as well as in people living with HIV and pregnant women, is stalled. It is ready to launch in eight countries in sub-Saharan Africa, yet neither maker of the vaccines, Pfizer and Moderna, wants to participateor even provide their vaccines.

Member of FDA's expert panel resigns over controversial Alzheimer's therapy approval

10 out of 11 people on an FDA advisory panel found "not enough evidence" to support approval of Biogen's Alzheimer's drug, Aduhelm. The 11th panellist was uncertain.

Despite this fact, the FDA gave the drug accelerated approval on Monday.
One person on the advisory panel quit because of this.
