It's not every day you wake up and have a "major" magazine put into print an admission of myriad crimes in the political sphere -- and cheer for the results it brought.

Yet that's what happened.

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws

That's a flat constitutional violation in all cases where it did not go through the legislature, and thus illegal.

and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding.

This is also illegal in most if not all states; private funding is not permitted for elections for the very reason put forward.

They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears.

But only smears from one side.  For instance Joe Biden said he would not ban fracking on federal land and would not halt Keystone.  Trump correctly pointed out that he had every intention of doing exactly that.  He was right; it happened on the first day.  Further, the Hunter Biden laptop was not "disinformation"; it may have been a smear but it was a truthful one.

They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result.

Even if the results were false?

and finally summoning his army of supporters to the Jan. 6 rally that ended in deadly violence at the Capitol.

Oh really?  Even CNN has abandoned this.  The "pipe bombs" were placed before the fact.  There is emerging evidence that in fact Antifa and BLM-affiliated persons led the charge.  The truth is yet to be fully uncovered here, but unlike the six months of previous violence which included burnt buildings, looting and all manner of destruction and death that was shockingly absent from said "deadly" violence.  Indeed, the Capitol Police officer lionized for allegedly being clocked with a fire extinguisher was walked back too by no less than CNN after reports emerged that no blunt-force trauma was sustained.  In other words it's entirely plausible that the officer had an ordinary medical incident and the "riot", such as it was, had nothing to do with his death.  What we do know at this point was the narrative that he was hit with a fire extinguisher was false since no such injury was on his person.

Then there's AOC who claimed to be in the Capitol when it happened and "afraid for her life."  In reality she was in her office in the Canon building and there was never any intruder on the floor of her office, according to the Representative in the next office over.  There was a Capitol Police Officer who came to check on things and apparently she was afraid of him.  I guess that's fitting for Ms. Defund The Police eh?

“Every attempt to interfere with the proper outcome of the election was defeated,”

Proper?  Not accurate, not truthful but proper.

According, of course, to those who organized it.

That’s why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information.

But this is not "rigging", you see, even though it's an admission of doing exactly that.  Controlling the flow of information?  You mean, the First Amendment was repealed by a group of powerful people -- for their own purposes, right?

Influence perceptions and "steer media coverage"?  Isn't the word for that propaganda?

Change rules and laws?  When not done through the proscribed means, isn't that called "a crime" and, in this case, "unconstitutional"?

And then it gets better.  You see, the left-wing riots were a threat to business, which wanted to appease them.  We all knew this but to actually put it in print is another matter entirely:

But behind the scenes, the business community was engaged in its own anxious discussions about how the election and its aftermath might unfold. The summer’s racial-justice protests had sent a signal to business owners too: the potential for economy-disrupting civil disorder.

Shift the election to Biden or your place of business will burn.

Wait a minute.... isn't that political violence?  Isn't that what we hear everyone cackling about in DC these days from the alleged other side?  Yet here is an admission in print that this was the intent and outcome sought by the riots for a full six months leading up to the election while our Federal authorities including the FBI deliberately looked the other way.

You don't think they were in it too, do you?

Quite possibly, eh?

“Although we may not always agree on desired outcomes up and down the ballot, we are united in our call for the American democratic process to proceed without violence, intimidation or any other tactic that makes us weaker as a nation.”

Except for the violence that caused these people to issue that statement, right?  Burnt cities, police stations, murders and mayhem?  That doesn't count?

The conversation that followed was a difficult one, led by the activists charged with the protest strategy. “We wanted to be mindful of when was the right time to call for moving masses of people into the street,”

Oh my.  Another admission.

If they'd lost they would have rioted.  Just like the six months previous.

Now we are to believe that this was about democracy winning the day.  That "every vote" (whether cast, stuffed or otherwise) should count, provided it goes our way.  TIME tries to present this piece as protecting democracy yet right toward the end they admit the truth: Had the count gone against them those who aligned to "protect the vote" were prepared to take to the streets exactly as they had for the previous six months and which TIME admits was political violence intended to, and which did, sway corporate minds through the threat of continued physical violence.

None of this should surprise if you've been paying attention.

What surprises is that they're willing to admit it in front of not only their cheering supporters but the 70-odd million Americans who believed the outcome was rigged irrespective of the means by which it was, and which TIME just admitted to in black ink.

And yet...

I shared this image made from the article early yesterday on Facebook.

I get this response from a longtime friend. Someone who supported Bush over Gore.

Quote:
So having read the actual article, not just your highlighted blurb screenshot, what I read is that two diametrically opposed groups came together for the common good of our country. Thank you for sharing.

The majority of the response I got was similar stunned rage to yours (and mine) but responses like above out of people I thought would know better continues to demoralize me.

Beyond the gloat which they love to do (remember Nancy's giant gavel?) one has to wonder if they're not actively trying to push some of that 70-odd million over the edge. They seem to want chaos badly.

Initial reports were that the capital cop was FOUND unconscious and that he'd had a STROKE. Within a couple hours I couldn't find that story. Never let a crisis go to waste - even if it's somebody's medical crisis.

The only reason they are publishing this is because they know damning evidence will be released for mass consumption (likely during Trump Senate Impeachment Trial). They are trying to control the narrative.

I also see that the My Pillow dude has released a 2 hour video on election fraud. It's probably a primer for the senate trial. (Note: I haven't watched it.)

Also fills in some behind the scenes info that were right before our eyes. The Revolver News article on Norm Eisen sept 2020. It is truly, like Karl says, stunning. No wonder they are terrified.

Outsiders are not allowed to hold any office of significance. You only get to vote for chosen insiders. The oligarchy is exposed for all to see. In fact they are now bragging about it.
I remember a man from the Inverness area near Chicago ran for congress and won on what I remember as an America first type platform. After two or four years of frustration he quit.
You see it all the time. If an upstart gets in they either fall in line or are sidelined into irrelevance.
Movements are subsumed by one of the two parties depending on the fit in such a way as to maintain a perceived 50% split.
The following Trump assembled was amazing and I give him credit for the achievement. Even if he governed better and accomplished all that he had promised it wouldn't have mattered. The owners of this country did not want what he was selling.
The article says, "We own this place and don't you forget it."

The left was protecting what they believe to be their version of democracy.

Truth be told, the only reason why the election fraud allegations have not seen a court room is that they are so outrageous and blatantly obvious that it would result in the mass incarceration of democratic politicians at all levels of government (probably some republican ones too), prominent business execs and prominent media members. We can probably throw-in quite a few lawyers and judges too. It very well may result in war with other countries too resulting from their involvement in stealing the election (not the Russians).

I first read this yesterday morning when it was brought to my attention by my wife. My first thought was how did the editor approve the printing but then concluded an excuse was submitted as a CYA because they never supported Biden or his policies, just a need to remove Trump. There is no doubt the vote was not FOR anything just a fear Trump might overturn their gravy bowl.

These riders on the DC grift train, from both parties, saw Trump as the threat of derailment. Tentacles of this spider extend on tracks throughout the country, populated with leaders all worried about the checks they receive.

"autocratically inclined President" the only allies on Trump's side were his voters

The left right story is propaganda.
It's the owners vs. the people.

Fumei gets it.
The story is another '**** you' to the Untermenschen.

CNN, MSNBc, ect. with controlled opposition FOX,
Facebook, Google and Twitter control the mainstream narrative.
The propaganda and social control is sophisticated and pervasive.
Right down to the school system.

People who read blogs like this are the exception.

Go talk to random people about what you believe to be true.
They are likely to wonder what planet your from.
The media says you may be a domestic terrorist.

Scottj175
I agree, it's demoralizing.
I know lots of people like that.

I think that the only thing that may work is a general strike.
It's the working man against the owners.
Don't be fooled, union leaders work for the owners.
Things will need to get much worse before anything like that can happen here.

The problem is the owners keep flooding the country with cheap labor and will replace heritage Americans in an instant. Immigration also splinters social cohesion.

Ignorance is bliss. Until the barbarians are at the gate. Prepare accordingly.

@Scottj175 - My response to your friend your have been, "You just admitted you are okay with the election being stolen because it suited the outcome you desired. What happens if the election is stolen and it is not an outcome you desire, are you okay with that? What then?"

He/they just admitted that our government is not a form of democracy, it is a form of government in which our leaders are selected/anointed and do whatever they want. The form of government is a kleptocracy.

We are so f^^^**.
The draining of our resources into the wells of a few will most of us in serfdom. Then they print $$$ and give to the masses to pacify us, where such $$$ just barely buy cheap chemical laden carbs that destroy our health.
Free rents to us while those of us landlords mount in debt. Destroy small business, have a few walmarts, amzn, TGTs be the supplier of all we consume and concentrate the wealth to their mega owners. The rest of us become serfs, depending om the big corps for sustenance. Self determination is being killed.
Communism in full swing? remember China also have private businesses and what looks like controlled capitalism, so do let the word capitalism fool us, or the appearance of it fools us. We will only get to do as much to the point where it wont disrupt the balance of power. If we so lucky as to expend energy and grow a business that becomes too big, wither we buy our way into the circle, or by some means, govt or otherwise we will ensure said business is stifled. Witness the mass closures and the effect on which businesses got destroyed...

The 75 million (more likely 100 million) of we who voted for Trump were disenfranchised. Thus, the Social Contract was rendered. Thus, the Republic has ENDED.

Thus, we owe NO fealty, obedience or respect to those who have perpetrated this theft.

Time to read "Unintended Consequences" once more. [Sure, it is long, it goes into the esoterica of guns, ammo, reloading, etc. but that stuff can be easily skimmed over]; stick to the main themes and get to the meat of the matter.

Something else from Facebook prompted another thought:

Quote:
Logic:

Q: What do you do when half of the population questions the validity of a vote?
A: You do a thorough forensic audit of every aspect in question.

Result: Factual answers.

This prompted me to ask who at this point is trustworthy to conduct said audit?

IMO the "Time" article just salted the earth on that.

Shift the election to Biden or your place of business will burn.

not just the threat concerned the business community. Both large and all the way to very small business interests know that the left creates a type of stability that they have come to depend upon and often experience booms. Yes, i said very small businesses too. Liberal society creates an economic stability for them and a secure type of consumer. Depending upon the area the customers of these businesses earn through the govt, ed, medical complex. Many small businesses also depend upon a subsidized underclass, both legal and illegal for their workforce and other customers. Additionally, a true competition market is a threat to them, chiefly asset depression. In this way both very large and very small businesses like left government.

Note that these business people are not simply intuitively understanding this but consciously know how it works and articulate their reasoning to me for as long as i can remember.

A society where people embrace personal accountability and the solutions within themselves and perhaps community culture is a major threat to established business interests of all sizes. Employees are also potential competition as are other willing players. Standards and competition are no longer a myth. People do not spend to fill voids in their lives and demand lasting quality.

It is hard to grok, but most people that i know went into business so that they would not have to be accountable nor work hard. Yes, there are exceptions and nothing wrong with desiring freedom and making one's own path or innovating. Can tell you that much of business of all sizes is not and never was about innovating. AND,

they will defend to any cost on society their position and NOT what should be the right of others, secured by the rules of law and consequences, to challenge them.

Kind of sums up a lot of what is going on in society for as long as we can remember. In a so called free market it is observed that only the stupid place themselves in a position where they have to prove themselves each and every day.

When was the last time a govt worker was fired for performance???? Gets better. When was the last time a media organization fired reporters? Are you starting to notice how one cannot fire the stores that seem to provide bad service and the only service in one's community day after day? Everything in these venues is at best mediocre. Amazon also does not want to be fired nor does some POS teacher or some other govt worker, nor banks and other systems. Yet, over the decades they have all cemented their positions to where everyone is paying for them.

Big business is merely phasing themselves in like other institutions. You know like the higher education that we must choke on for the benefit of our children. Notice how they all foist essentially the same **** at high prices. Where is one's option for competitive choice?

Liberalism and this fight as Karl summarizes in this post is about human nature. People do not want competition. They want security and not to be the lone fool who creates the illusion that striving and competition actually work.

The large and small business interests are headed by individuals who think the same as it is what they are.

Monkey see, monkey do.
