I do not blame Trump for the first 30 days of the lockdown.
Why is it one man's job to dictate what American citizens should wear, should shop, should be labeled "essential" or "non-essential" or what we should do...You get the picture. (a side note the original lie was based on a 15 day edict, not 30)
There was a time where businesses had signs that read "No Shoes, No Shirts, No Service" A business owner could not openly discriminate on skin color, religion or creed, but they could tell you what you had to wear to enter their business. If a business did not want you to smoke in their shop, out you go. And for the most part the consumer respected that.
WAY BACK on March 16, 2020 both Pence and Trump stood before our nation with a "15 days to slow the spread" sign and asked business owners to shut down, they labeled half our nation "non-essential". And people believed that lie and complied.
Since when is it one man's job to tell business owners what to do, or to designate a status for citizens? I have met all kinds of business owners and they come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, but the one thing they tend to have in common is the owner are at least above average intelligence (Unless they are Amazon, Tesla, MicroSoft, FaceBook, or the likes - Then any idiot will do)
Small business drive innovation, in part it is because small business is reliant on it's costumer base. Without small business and their employees we lose the back bone of our country.
So if most small business owners are smarter than the average person, cares about staying open and is willing to invent things to attract new customers, why does our president get to shut them down and then LIE about the time frame?
Oh our president has the right and expectation to build border walls, stop giving medical treatment to illegals, stop giving housing and welfare to illegals, he has the right to restrict flights (Travel) from countries that pose a threat to our national welfare i.e. Stop Flights From China. But until March 16th he never had the right to tell citizens where they could or could not go, what they should or should not wear and if they are essential or not.
Why are we even arguing which president should have control over our local lives?
