What do you know? The NYT has as much as admitted that all "the Cases, the Cases" hoopla has been a bunch of nonsense from the start. They have finally figured out that the 'usual' PCR test Cycle Threshold of 40 is so high that roughly 70+% of those testing positive aren't sick enough to matter:

The reality is that no matter whether it's Trump or Biden, Wall St. wins, and the MIC wins. A giant shit sandwich will continue to be served up piping hot to boobus Americanus.

Boobus, if he's lucky, can try to hang on to his or her corporate gig, WFH and if he or she is smart, prep like a MOFO for what is coming.

@Jw. I remember Ron Paul not allowed to speak at RNC 2012. I was there, on the floor, as a national delegate for him. They did let his son Rand speak. Watch the made-for-TV State-by-State vote announcements and laugh when you see the announced votes don't add up to the delegate slots per State. @Austin -- This bug kills almost nobody, unless you ACTIVELY KILL THEM.

That is for someone to die you have to do ALL of:

1. Do NOTHING and sit back and watch 80+% of their lung capacity be DESTROYED. There are multiple interventions that can mitigate that. BTW in nearly EVERYONE who gets this bug #1 doesn't actually occur -- but in a few people, most of them severely compromised (as was the case with PCP and AIDS), it does.

2. When you detect #1 has occurred (SpO2 starts falling) CONTINUE TO DO NOTHING to interrupt the damage. Specifically, DO NOT test for and treat thrombus that are, with a high probability, in the lungs (the reason gas exchange is impaired) and DO NOT test for and suppress, if found, a cytokine storm.

3. After ALL THAT if the person is unable to fight it off THEN shove a tube down their throat which, WITH LUNGS FULL OF CLOTS AND THUS NOT PLIANT LIKE A NORMAL LUNG is EXTREMELY like to cause barotrauma AND KILL THEM OUTRIGHT through an AGE. Oh by the way, WHO bought tens of thousands of WORTHLESS ventilators?

This is EXACTLY what we did with PCP and AIDS. We KNEW Bactrim worked because that was discovered in 1977 in children with Leukemia, which also trashes the person's immune system. They were getting PCP and dying. We discovered that not only did Bactrim treat PCP it was prophylactic so if you popped up with leukemia after that discovered we gave it to you because PCP is a goddamnable bug and will kill you very dead if your immune system is fucked up -- thus, preventing it from happening was well worth the relatively small risk associated with using Bactrim as a prophylaxis.

Fauci was DIRECTLY involved in blocking that drug from being given to AIDS patients for YEARS -- it was off-patent, CHEAP, and we KNEW it worked. He didn't care; he demanded his "random controlled trials" SPECIFICALLY FOR AIDS PATIENTS and we shoved over 30,000 people into the hole as a result.

THIS bug presents an even more goddamnable situation for these assholes because in point of fact it just isn't very deadly, UNLESS you are already pretty fucked up. In that regard it's much like PCP, in that PCP is ALMOST NEVER diagnosed in a person with a healthy immune system -- oh, the bug is around and like any other bug you can inhale it but in a healthy person it does nothing to you because it is immediately recognized and killed off before it makes you clinically sick.

But if your immune system is fucked then YOU are the one who is fucked because is able to destroy your lungs and kills you a HUGE percentage of the time, even with treatment. Untreated in an immune-compromised individual it is almost-invariably fatal.

@Austin - Sweden ADMITTED their malpractice; they forced the bug into nursing homes and have admitted that was a colossal fuck-up. Take half of their death rate out (roughly their nursing home casualty rate) and it's..... approximately equal to the number of people who die of the flu.

Again, THIS COUNTY has reached suppression. We've had TWELVE deaths. We have 100,000 people.

Which incidentally is HALF the rate of the flu. Now it's only been six months but NOW we're in suppression and weren't before. And this presumes, which is not in evidence, that ALL TWELVE were in fact in the causal chain. We know that's almost-certainly wrong but if I GIVE YOU THAT we're still at ONE FIFTH the national average, roughly.

Will we have 240/million by the one year mark? I'll take the under on that since in suppression the odds of us getting another 12 approach zero, and again, that's without actually looking at death certificates to see how much FRAUD is in there.

We are low here in BC also , i worry that we are like New Zealand and a bit isolated with the border closed so we may still get bigger numbers. Maybe canada has your benign treatments. i dunno , UK Boris got the rough treatment and was saved [ ?] another account , a utoober , 'bald and bankrupt ' who nearly died but survived in a czech hospital having the full medical treatment.
In any case its still a potential death risk of .067 % if only because you can't get the right treatment , whatever that is.

@Maddman - I decided to hold my nose and vote for Trump. Do I believe anything will change, not at all. He had 4 years to implement change, did not do it. Plenty of legal avenues to fix immigration, hell just shut down the government to get what you want.

What convinced me to vote for Trump, I started reading "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" by William Shirer. When you read about how Hitler and the Nazis came to power and how they consolidated their power, it is eerily similar to the radical left in this country. The Nazis has brown shirts that were not prosecuted and intimidated lots of people. They demonized most religions. They demonized race. They prevented different opinions from being taught and heard in education and the media. Currently the radical left does all of those.

Hitler legally came to power and never received more than 36% of the vote in a fair election. The other 64% knew Hitler and the Nazis were trouble, yet they could not come together to defeat him. Instead they fragmented and he came to power and exact his revenge on his opposition.

I have decided the radical left can not get complete control of the government. Hence my vote for Trump. Plus Trump is not talking about putting people like us in a box car while the radical left would like nothing better to put my white Christian male butt in a box car. The radical left does not hide that fact that they want to crush the opposition which is us.

I concur with TG, wake the fuck up! Trump is a pied piper. The flip flop from candidate to incumbent is astounding! Worse than any we have seen. Oh, but the media and the dems pushback have kept him from achieving goals?Yeah right, there are many ways he could have changed policy in the last 4 years, but did nothing. Drain da swamp? Wilbur Ross, The Repo Man Munuchin, Pompouspeo? He fired faucci, but the damage is done and the guy still gets TV airtime.
