A few observations this Monday morning.

Go to the CDC website about excess deaths https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid.... and select "Excess deaths with and without COVID-19" and look at the graph. What jumps out at me is that this is the first time in two years that the number of deaths approached the excess threshold and actually went above the threshold. If you look closely, you will see that the threshold was actually exceeded for a number of weeks excluding the C-19 cases! The idea that this was a horrible flu season with C-19 on top and a lot of deaths falsely attributed to C-19 certainly looks plausible.

With respect to the six-month average stay in a nursing home. That is awfully short as we all know. That being the average, how many nursing home residents have already spent 3, 4, 5, 6, of those six months in the nursing home when C-19 comes around? Like Karl is saying, and I went through it this year with my step-father, many people keep loved ones at home as long as they can before sending them to the nursing home. My step-father was 89 and very far gone when we finally took him to the nursing home because we had to, we were getting to the point where you almost had to have someone awake 24/7. He lasted 28 days.

Finally, Iowa looks like it wants to buck the trend on "get to 1.5% infected and you are out of the woods in your state." Iowa is finally having its spike which started around 1.5% cumulative cases. How large will that spike be, that is the question. Iowa is up to ~350 cases per day on average while Florida and Arizona went above 500. Will Iowa turn over soon and see a very steep drop, we will have to wait and see. Perhaps every state needs to have its "spike of cases" because of a sub-population and that spike is going to occur regardless of the percentage of previous confirmed cases. The Iowa graph is here with Florida and Arizona for comparison purposes. https://91-divoc.com/pages/covid-visuali....

Vitamin D3, K2, Zinc, Vitamin C. There are already several studies done showing increased levels of D lead to a statistically significant amount of patients only getting mild to zero symptoms if they do contract the virus.

Can't hurt.

As I've noted before @Pilot -- be EXTREMELY CAREFUL with dosing of supplements. While SOME are safe at even ridiculous doses with the worst case outcome being "The ****s" (e.g. Vitamin C) there are others where this is NOT TRUE -- and Zinc and Vitamin D3 are two of those.

What's worse is that both D3 and Zinc are available in supplement dosages that are questionably safe AT BEST right out of the bottle and assuming ZERO otherwise-access to same (e.g. sunlight for D3) so you don't have to gobble multiples of their "doses" a day to get in trouble. That can turn out very badly unless you KNOW you're deficient and that dosage is safe.

Using your BRAIN is necessary when devising a strategy; just because something is available in stores or online does not mean that your intended use of it is safe.

If you look at the "hot spots" in Iowa, the six counties all have large universities with out of area kids returning and partying it up.

The governor shut down the bars in those counties because the schools are mandating 100% testing, no in person classes, and the kids are going out and getting F@#$ed up in bars. I went to ISU many moons ago, and get it. Iowa has a decent testing set up, and many people get tested "just in case" and find they are positive with no or few sypmtoms.

Great points about the quarantine not being good long term. I am "essential" (Kind of like a stripper telling you are her favorite), so have been working and in the public since it started. Might have had it early on, but I know I have been directly exposed at least three times. Nothing. The lady at work whose husband has every comorbidity you can think of refused all treatment, and didn't die.

This made me look up the same data for here in Canada.... and the results confirm yours, as in, influenza + pneumonia kill more people than COVID does.

Here are the numbers:

DataSourceValue
Total number of COVID deaths, Feb 2020 to nowhttps://www.worldometers.info/coronaviru....9117
COVID deaths in nursing homes, as percentage of total COVID deathshttps://www.cihi.ca/sites/default/files/....81%
COVID deaths outside of nursing homes (19% of total)Calculated from the above data1732.23
Outside-of-nursing-home COVID deaths annually7 months (Feb to Aug) prorated to 122969.54
Deaths from influenza + pneumonia, annuallyhttps://ipac-canada.org/influenza-resour...."more than 8000"

All statistics are Canada-wide.

Conclusion?
Prorated, 2969.54, non-nursing-home COVID deaths per year.
Influenza + pneumonia, more than 8000.

Even if you take all the COVID deaths, including nursing homes, and prorate them from 7 to 12 months, you would get 15,629. Not quite double of influenza + pneumonia.

And nobody is forcing people to wear mask because of influenza, closing businesses, introducing 14-day quarantines, destroying air traffic related businesses, distributing billions of $ of newly printed money around to help with influenza crisis, etc etc...

We used ivermectin dairy dewormer in the 80s. It was a paste administered through a caulking gun to heifers on pasture up to two months before calving. It was not legal to administer the chemical to lactating dairy cows or beef cattle within 48 days of slaughter. This article claims, due to cost of the alternative, ivermectin is still used today inside of this withdrawal window. I wonder if humans retain a small amount of this chemical today due to this off-label practice.

TG. Quick question.

I take 2000 iU of D3 daily, but spend a lot of time outside. Should I cut the D3 till winter?

Something I have been doing for a long time, and didn't think about it. Something my Dad did when I was growing up. I know that 4000 per day or higher is not good.

Garlic
Quercetin
Resveratrol
Turmeric/Curcumin

Although I've found they helped my health by eating foods/taking supplements containing these phytochemicals/micronutrients, due diligence is necessary before beginning.

In my state the dumb ass governor prevents the dispensing of HCQ on an outpatient basis for Covid-19. So gee, guess what? I ordered it and Zpaks and Ivermectin OTC and Online from a pharmacy in India. Took 28 days to get here, but at least now I don't have to worry about being killed by the mandates of a liberal idiot governor. Oh, and since american search engines won't even list those pharmacies I had to use a Russian search engine. Good grief. Oh in case anyone wants to know the pricing, HCQ was $14.25, Zpaks were $9.25, and Ivermectin about $15.

If you want transmission through the air you want to have the virus on very small particles not large droplets. How do you best get small particles? Collecting all the droplets on a piece of cloth to let them dry and then blow through it. The face coverings are helping spread the virus.

I've been taking supplements 365 days a year for over 10 years. The effect has been massively positive. I don't take D in the summer. It's pointless unless you never leave the house.

I started to take garlic pills maybe 6 months ago. To my surprise they helped me a lot. I theorize that garlic inhibits certain bacteria that my be a factor in triggering allergies.

Well the Government and corporations at large can snorkel down on my vitamin D!

And if you figure you can fix this through voting you're a moronic mushroom, whatever the Government won't do their corporate pals will!

I'm waiting to be told that I and my co workers have to go to the doctor for a check up!

The first thing out of my mouth will be... Are you, (the company) going to pay for it? Because if not **** it I quit right here right now, I don't pay to work!

The whole point of working is to extract money from the job, not ****ing pay money out to keep the job, otherwise known as invest in it!

And don't no one try to feed me any of that goody good work ethic propaganda bull****! I go to work to make a profit and when I don't see a profit well I don't go!

Yeah I know, your rent, your phone and gas bill, oh that mortgage!
Scared you are Mr and Mrs American soft living pussies!

Not me, I'll gladly dig a hole to crap in any day, rather than put up with my job being threatened by a ****ing mask!

I'd rather set traps and wait for delicious animals to get trapped in them for my dinner! Than listen to the piece of **** governor!

Oh I know that it's not everyone's cup of tea, however it's making a stand, more than showing we don't really need the system, Nor their so called conveniences (that we spend most of our time working for and thus never actually see the convenience)!!!

I guess to make the point you'd have to give up the go do what your told mindlessly follow orders job for a bit?

Ahhhh you might not stay in your posh home at least until our jobs and Government got the ****in message!

Yeah because giving those things up for a short time in order to tell the system to go get ****ed is a real sacrifice!

Unlike the retards who think putting on a mask is a sacrifice! No it's bowing down in fact it's snorkeling down on the Government's Dino!

I know what many think, they think oh **** that if we actually stood up the way you say that there's a chance we could end up homeless?

Yes, however look at the long run if not the near short term,
Jobs all through companies are going to ****, no one is indispensable, so many of you already face job loss you just don't know it yet via the announcement hasn't come out!

So if your going to lose your income and ass in less than 6 months anyway then what's the difference and why not make a stand today?

And of course once most of us are laid off we'll have no other job to go to!

Yes indeed the work ethic propagandists (mostly elders and some a bit younger after old people brownie points, whom haven't had a job in 10-20 years or those whom haven't changed jobs in the past 5-10 years will proclaim that there's jobs and they'll act as if they're on every street corner)!
Because the general excepted mentality is that, if they currently have a job and or if they are retired from a job then they must know all about the current job market!!

Of course whatever they think is generally a thought planted by their favorite politicians whom always claim everything's fine!

Better make a stand now because, once we're all evicted and unemployed, we would've already lost our leverage!

Wake up Americans!
