Biden's Disavowal Detonates

So much for that.

Joe Biden has maintained repeatedly that he "never" discussed his son Hunter's board post on Burisma.

He clearly lied.

A photo has surfaced of Joe Biden golfing with not only Hunter but also Devon Archer, who also was on the board.

In addition while Biden has claimed his demand that Shokin be fired, and who was fired after Biden blackmailed the Ukraine into doing so by illegally threatening to withhold appropriated funds, was made due to Shokin's "corruption" and that the prosecutor was not investigating his son at the time.

But the fired prosecutor has an affidavit circulating, which Rudy Giuliani has, that states -- under oath -- that he was investigating Hunter Biden at the time he was canned and that he was fired because he refused to drop the case.

Oh by the way there is a formal criminal cooperation treaty between the US and Ukraine that predates all of this nonsense; it goes back to Clinton's time in office.  It explicitly not only authorizes it requires that both the US and Ukraine cooperate in criminal matters including arrests, seizures, searches, detentions and similar actions where the action in question would be a crime in the other jurisdiction.  Therefore seeking to enforce same by the US Executive, which Trump did and Pompeo, our Secretary of State, was on the call, is explicitly lawful and authorized by said treaty while Biden's interference with said investigation, which I remind you he has admitted to and bragged about in a CFR speech, was a prohibited act.

It gets worse.

There is also apparent documentation that Hunter's "Chinese-funded" pile of cash he was allowed to manage was put into this hands for the specific purpose of accessing "the networks" that Hunter Biden had.

That is, to quote the document:

The Chinese investment entity with which Hunter Biden had teamed explicitly states the value – “the networks and know-how” – that came with partnering with the Vice President’s son and his partner, Devon Archer.

Uh huh.

Oh, that same Devon Archer that was also on the board of Burisma and whom was golfing with Joe Biden?

Both Rudy and the folks who outed the Chinese connection say there are more documents coming.

Looks like the gig is up for Joe Biden's lies.

Now do you know why Pelosi is hell-bent to "impeach"?

Betcha there are plenty of other Democrat lawmakers who were -- and maybe still are -- in on this crap.

Remember Hillary's alleged screed shortly before the election?  "That SOB better not win or we'll all hang from nooses!"

From her lips to God's ears, please.

If Guliani goes after the swamp, like he did the mob, things could get interesting.

How is this illegal again? LOAN guarantees that COULD put taxpayer dollars at risk is a little different from handing over 1B. This is USAID, discretionary Foreign Policy, Biden pointman on Ukraine Foreign Policy, etc, etc. This post likely won't get through, since my last three didn't make it.

It's illegal @Max_planck because the purpose is corrupt; it constitutes EXTORTION which is a FEDERAL OFFENSE as it was CLEARLY, on the manifest weight of the evidence, intended to halt investigation and prosecution of Biden's SON.

Joe Biden has admitted to the action in question. Further, he has repeatedly lied, as is now a matter of documented proof, with regard to whether or not he was aware of, and cavorting with, Hunter and another board member of Burisma during the time in question. There has now surfaced photographic proof that he lied.

Yes, USAID is discretionary foreign policy. No, that does not give Biden or anyone else license to commit extortion across national boundaries, a crime in both Ukraine AND the United States and thus, ****face, such an act is subject to MANDATORY cooperation in prosecution under the TREATY that has been in force between Ukraine and the United States since prior to Obama's Presidency.

Max - I don't see much of a future for you around here. Generally CBW is up for a back and forth. But you wanna get snarky and normally that will get you kicked to the curb. Sometimes I've disagreed with this approach by Karl but it's his sandbox. And if you keep making a point of sending your cat over to **** in it ................

I've figured out that Gen is OK with you disagreeing with him, if you support your position WITH facts, logic, and reason....
Not so much if you support your position IN SPITE of facts, logic, and reason...

That's been my experience as well. I state my position from my experience and then let it be. I dont get all emotional, fired up, and go all SJW on everyone when I disagree with Karl(or someone on the board).

This site has been good for me to see different angles to a situation and learn to put the emotions aside while objectively looking at what is going on and what the underlying factors are that are influencing said situation.

Anyone who is more intent on being "right", even when they find out they are not, won't last long here.

Exactly, Acebarefoot. I have learned many good habits form posting here. I have also learned a ton - mostly by shutting up when it was obvious I didn't know what the hell I was talking about. (Like that time I went toe-to-toe with a pharmacist about pharmaceutical drugs. Thanks for not biting my head off, Kareninca!)

All that said, this is still the only site where I respect and care about others' opinions. Virtually every other site I visit pretty much has closed-minded idiots commenting. So, **** them, they are fair game.

Thanks for the best forum on the interwebs, Karl!

Attilahooper: If Guliani goes after the Swamp, another one will form that he will benefit from, just like when he went after the Italian mob.

I'm not saying he's dirty or anything... but I am also not saying he isn't, because it always struck me as amazing how America's Mayor who could be so tough on crime and the mob, could have allowed the Russian Mafia to grow and take hold while there has been silence from him and worse...apparently direct engagement between him and the Ukrainian and Russian Oligarchs.

I don't have a lot of faith in America's Mayor.

Exactly!!!!

You guys are some of the smartest guys I've had the pleasure of associating with, with expertise in a very wide range of subjects.

I, on the other hand, though pretty well read, have expert level knowledge about a narrow list of subjects.

So....
I'll pitch in if we get into Modern Manufacturing Principals in Metal fabrication, Iowa Class Battleships, Funny (Now) experiences with Crazy women, Advanced Smart Ass Remarks, or Bob Seger Music....
I'll lurk and ask questions about the rest....

Always wondered if the Liberal party up in Canada was involved in this mess, interesting that they are saying there are foreign governments involved. There are just too many connections between the Cdn Liberals the Democrats and Ukraine.

Liberal government gave $20 million to the Clinton foundation, our PM Trudeau and his Minister of Foreign affairs both are connected to the Atlantic Council, Trudeau has a page outlining his achievements on their website, unless its been scrubbed of course.

Ms Freeland who is the Minister of foreign affairs is in my view not qualified to hold that job, she was a reporter prior to running for office. Her only qualification that I can see is that she is of Ukrainian descent which only makes me more suspicious of their involvement over there.

Burisma, Uranium one, Atlantic council all heave connections to Canada and or Canadians involved.

Be interesting to see this play out, particularly the foreign government angle, no chance it will get any play in the media up here or the RCMP will investigate so hopefully something comes out down here prior to the election. The AR-15 grab is on and now it looks like they are teaming up with the big city mayors to go for the handguns as well, suspicious timing.

If there is a PRC angled involved, well they are already well established in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver.

Any chance of refugee status for Canadian gun owners in the US President Trump? At least you would have one group of immigrants that would vote for you, cheers.

"Betcha there are plenty of other Democrat lawmakers who were -- and maybe still are -- in on this crap."

No doubt about it. Republicans are in on this ****, too, but not nearly as widespread as the Democrats. So is the CIA, by the way...

This entire "witch Hunt" stinks to high heaven.

I'd bet that the very same Deep State crew (e.g., the CIA Brennan Crew) are doing dirty deeds done dirt cheap in behalf of the Dirty Dems...

And lurking deep down in the political shadows are more corrupt ****heads behind this conspiracy: Obama, Hillary, Kerry and some other big names..

And it would not surprise me at all to learn that the Bush's people have their filthy hands in all this, too.

This whole thing is one hell of a swampy ****ing mess. Good thing President Mud Monster loves every minute of a good swamp fight...

I think this Swamp Show will even exceed my expectations by this time next year..

It's easy to disagree with Karl.

1. Don't be a dick

2. Have supporting evidence

3. After you've made your case, stop, don't argue. It's his equipment and he doesn't want to argue with people who disagree. It's his service and his right to get last word on something

4. It helps if you do disagree, if you at least show that you can partially understand his argument so that your not simply ignoring his position and or a partisan tool.

I disagree a lot. I think it's likely that Rudy and Trump had corrupt intent, I think if this **** is going to go down, the Congress needs to win, even if they are completely wrong, but that is for other reasons.

But holding those views in no way negates the points he makes about Biden and his corruption, The Deep State, or the damaged we might face from removal of the President.

And it is likely that he is right, that Biden's got no one to blame but himself regardless of if there was some sort of Corrupt Intent on the part of the Executive, because Biden is a swamp creature that used the office to enrich his son and Trump may have all the legal cover he needs because of that.

We don't have all the facts, and even when the stories come out, we still likely won't have the real facts.

We can disagree about what those facts may be until they are proven, we can disagree about what may or may not be best, but it is Karl's House and if you are going to push your **** here, there is a limit to how much he will allow you to push.

Too much if the stuff we see is not really black or white, Red Team or Blue Team as much as it is a cesspit of corruption and crime, and rooting for one group of partisan hacks over another or turning a blind eye to obvious malfeasance accomplishes nothing but getting banned.

The #2 benefit is participating here has made me construct my arguments far more robustly.
