Very nice.....

Either we root out every last source of rot by investigating, indicting and jailing every wrong-doer and everyone who conspired to protect the guilty in the Epstein case, or America will have sealed its final fall.

How do you propose we do it?

Beto has claimed he's coming for your AR-15 and AK-47 -- and it sounded exactly like this:

Instead of dealing with the rot the so-called "debate" was a literal grab-bag of civil war inducing nostrums -- from gun control to destroying the budget and currency of the United States onward.

Beto can pronounce all sorts of nonsense; he has license to do it because he has a one to five percent polling number (statistically indistinguishable from zero) and even in his own state of Texas he loses to Biden and Warren, tying with Sanders.  Nobody beyond those three are in the game and as such they can shoot off their mouths with something as obscene as "kill all the {insert target}" and get away with it -- rather than having the immediate response being the end of much more than their candidacy.

A madman raving on a stage is not worthy of response, say much less spending one's life.  That the DNC puts on this sort of perverse show is obscene on its face; there are exactly three people on that stage with any real potential to gain the nomination while the rest are simply pandering their pet causes and feathering their nests for other campaigns.

Incidentally this is one of the great injustices in the way our political system runs.  You can collect funds and then use them for a different political run.  This gets rather convenient if you're a Senator or Representative -- you would expect to have the most interest from others in your state with regard to your Senatorial or House campaign, but if you declare as a Presidential candidate, even if it's a complete waste of time, you can use the funds you solicit for your next Senate run!

We ought to bar the shifting to a different office, but as of today it is what it is and that's doubtless why an awful lot of those people are up there on the stage -- it's not about a serious run for President, but rather about a few hundo large or in some cases a couple million they can "carry over" to their other political aspirations -- even in the same election cycle, so long as they drop out of the first contest.

Anyone who thinks Beto is a serious Presidential candidate -- or, for that matter the other "less than 10s" are has rocks in their head.  These are not serious Presidential candidates -- they are using that shawl to raise funds for their other political aspirations in the same election cycle.

Now back to the central point.

CHS says we must root out all the Epstein corruption or we're done.  Well, my friend, and I do consider Charles a nice guy and a friend -- we're done.

Because you're not going to insist that all of this be run to the ground -- despite evidence that eleven or twelve year old girls were being trafficked as recently as last year.

When you get down to it the reason I know this nation is finished in this regard is the same reason that I know Beto feels spouting off that he intends to disarm Americans is "safe" for him to do.

Let's just put this in clear language: There was not one father of just one of the girls that were trafficked in this fashion who both (1) knew about it and (2) was willing to spend his life making sure that SOB suffered the most-medieval sort of ugliness he could devise -- and then went straight to Hell.

Think about that folks: NOT ONE.

You can't tell me that out of all the girls allegedly trafficked in the United States right in Florida that the majority of their fathers and mothers didn't at least suspect something was going on of this sort -- either at the time or later.

Yet not one decided it was worth making that SOB pay for what he had done.

It's a damn good thing nobody ever did anything like that to my daughter.  Yeah, I'd be in prison or dead.  That's perfectly ok; I'd go willingly, whether to Hell or prison.

That SOB would be in pieces.

There's no nation called America left.  It died of "I don't give a ****."  When you have sick **********s like this who, it is alleged, literally pedaled dozens of kids to rich and powerful bastards with a fetish, all of it abuse of the worst sort and not one father or mother stands up and takes care of business over the space of more than a decade there is nothing left of a nation's character to be worth saving.

Close the book on America -- and then burn it.

That giant asteroid y'all been praying for ain't comin'. That level of destruction will have to be man-made, and I guess that it will eventually be only half-way done by governmental minions working indirectly for those evil bastards, to maximize their chances of escape or survival.

"Close the book on America -- and then burn it."

Pretty much. Ditto the entire Earth. Burn it all by sending a tunguska meteor culster directly from the Taurid meteor stream and another one right out of Pleiades Seven Sisters. That should do the trick..

.... but just to make sure please send a meteorite cluster and astrobleme the total cluster-**** that mankind has become. Please make sure a very big astrobleme replaces Southern University in Houston wherein the large Tribe of Darkies expect to receive "reparations" last night from the Dirty Dems. Please, Mother Nature, give them the reparations that they all truly deserve....

And one more thing: please, Mother Nature, have a little mercy and spare Charles of Two Minds, because I think he is a good man who scribbles out worthy articles on a regular basis.

There are a lot of men (and women) in this country that put more time and passion into following their favorite football team than what is going on with their kids. I've seen it first hand in my own extended family. So get ready for another weekend of bread & circuses to distract us from the rot all around. All is well so long as my team wins that trophy in a few months.

Any middle aged white guy nearly 50 years old still calling himself "beto" is kind of sad. I'll put him up there with Vanilla Ice....just the sound of his name is a snicker inducing joke so silly it doesn't even need a punch line.

I'll give Bobby some credit for at least saying what every person on that stage is thinking and wants to do. With around 300 people killed by rifles per year in a country of 350 MILLION, murders by people using an AR or AK are barely a rounding error. Yet every one of those *******s on that stage would gleefully order the deaths of that many people every week if they didn't turn in their rifles. Because those aren't people they are killing...they are racist deplorables that need killing if they don't do as they're told.

I'm voting Karl Denniger. If I'm going to take myself down there at least I'm going to have some fun doing it.

Two examples of criminal behavior that prove that the country is done are the Ted Kennedy Chappaquidic episode and the OJ Simpson trial. Ted had a large retinue of fixers, sycophants, and a worshipful media who steered his case through a thoroughly corrupt judicial system. Had he been driving a VW beetle, Chappaquidic would never have happened, but that's another matter. Given the racial makeup of OJ's jury, he would not have been convicted even had the prosecution been able to produce a video of him slicing and dicing his victims.
Americans have been bamboozled into believing that "our" just-us system will deliver justice or that a vile perpetrator will one day burn in hellfire. A motivated friend or family member of OJ's victims could easily dispense justice to OJ and any of his hangers-on with a deer rifle at one of his many golf course appearances. Feeding him through a wood chipper that took about half an hour to complete the job would be my idea of justice.

I knew we were done when they started irradiating and molesting children at the airport.
Any parent who stands by and watches their child being molested by a blue-gloved government goon will put up with ANYTHING...

Karl, I think that's very admirable that you say you would "spend your life" for your daughter if she were raped. I have 2 young daughters, with a 3rd on the way, and I've had the very same thought that I will kill any SOB that rapes one of my daughters. Maybe that would be foolish to the best interests of the rest of my family, especially when I am the sole earner, but what is left when a family can't stand up for its own?

@Gauntlet33 -- Today my daughter is an adult and quite-capable of making her own decisions and taking care of herself, including exacting her own justice as she sees it. But when she was a child or teen? If someone had done that sort of thing to her the best outcome for them would be if the cops found and arrested them first as then they'd be somewhere that was protected from me.

Yeah, I'd get arrested, charged, likely convicted and be punished -- or shot if caught in the act of retribution. I'm ok with that. But retribution it would be, it would be truly medieval in scope for the explicit purpose of serving as a clear warning to anyone who gave thought about assaulting some OTHER kid in the future.

There ARE things worth dying for. IMHO this is one of them.

Winding it down.

And if I am on that jury Karl, you better believe I am voting for acquittal.

I also think Jury nullification is still something citizens can use against the tyranny of government although most citizens are pressured (by the courts and their peers on the jury) to go along with the charade.

Jury nullification, because if a family member has to get justice it proves the cops/prosecutors were asleep.

This baffles me. Where are the parents? Disappeared? They sold their kid? They think the kid is spending the weekend at Disneyland with friends? The kids never talked, to anyone, ever?

You do have to be 99.99% sure you're going medieval on the right guy though. Epstein made it easy. Others, not so much.

. . . have to be 99.99% sure you're going medieval on the right guy . . .
Sad to say, but given what we can observe on a daily basis about the nature of those who are prominent in running/influencing our gov't, if the individual is a moderately senior level gov't official or above or someone who rubs elbows with them, that fact alone is enough to be ~90% sure that that individual is deserving of some medievalism. Raising the certainty level by the remaining 9.99% will require a little more due diligence, though.

Just in case you 90%ers are serious, think it through while clear-minded.
