The thing I find amusing is the amount of instant data-mining price-match behavior among some of the "bigger" sellers. It takes place in SECONDS.

That's not the only place it happens. I also see this on eBay, but it's not nearly as fast as Amazon. I also notice this with UPS and FedEx when I compare shipping prices. It seems 90%+ of the time they are EXACTLY the same.

I had one no-receive a few months ago -- 30 seconds on their online chat and the refunded the money. Pretty painless all things considered.
interesting. I wonder if it depends on if the product comes from WM or a third party pass-through type purchase. I remember thinking, "hmm you sure didn't have a problem taking my money in 2 clicks when I bought this, now you're passing me on down the road when I got a prob?"

All things, not a huge deal I suppose. In the end it worked out.

The data mining can be comical. I looked up a 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300 Diesel on ads on Facebook? Late model S-Classes, Bentleys, and the odd Ferrari here and there.

OK, I'm officially on the AMZN Put Train! Got the Jan 2019 and Jan 2020.

I did this because I'm always on the lookout for something with a very huge payout for small risk. I'm channeling my inner Nassim Taleb I guess.

This has two immediate payoffs for me. One, it serves as some portfolio insurance in that if everything else tanks this gains value. Two, it gives me something to watch for fun.

Here are my predictions for everyone to see:
S&P 500 at 320, DOW at 2200, Gold $300/oz, and Corn $2/bu.
No sign that housing, equities, or farmland are in a bubble- Yellen 11/14/13
