is there an implied contract at conception (or some point shortly thereafter) that the living unborn is conferred rights to the uterus to birth?

Two points with this...the law never says something is "ok"...it only prohibits, if there's no law against it...it's OK...but that aside, "it's okay to blow chipmunks and smoke cocaine, I better get back to it!", Mrbill's correct on this...but I would put it differently..."SO ****ING WHAT if someone wants to do that??"

The kids who are doing this may be TALKING ABOUT IT in school, but I'll lay odds they're not DOING IT in the actual school.

I'm not saying it's encouraged or tolerated by the school...but this probably does happen on school grounds across America and has happened once with kids as young as 10 (BJs) on the grounds of the school she taught at. One of my coworkers daughters is a cheerleader in jr. high. She got promoted to head cheerleader this past fall because the girl who was in that position recorded herself having sex with a boy on her I-phone very near school grounds and distributing it virally to several hundred others before it got stopped...at 13 years old. Were there instances of this even 25 years ago? That's when I was the same age and hardly anyone was even talking about sex at 13 years old much less doing anything about it.

I really don't see how Obama would defeat Ron Paul.. remember Obama had to promise to end wars and close gitmo to get his voter base on board the first time around.. Mainstream republicans will vote for WHOEVER is credibly opposing Obama, and any liberal who voted for Obama on principle rather than FSA greed is now as disillusioned and likely to vote Paul as they're ever likely to get. I sure don't see Occupy Wall Street turning into an Obama rally anytime soon, but I sure see a lot of End The Fed signs. Imagine you're a liberal who isn't part of the FSA.. what has the Obama admin really done for your cause? Any liberal with a resistance to sophistry has by now lost faith in this president and this democratic party.. Nominate Gingrich and you'll see the liberal base solidify behind their corrupt, ineffectual leaders, nominate someone like Ron Paul and the liberals will fracture. The GOP won't do it though, they'd rather lose an election than lose control of the party.

Morla, I wonder if the liberals would balance out the statist Republicans that would rather vote Obama than Paul, or they won't vote at all.

You bet there were. And I went to a small, very conservative, Catholic, 1-8 grade school. And those of us that weren't engaging in sex acts were certainly talking about them often enough.

We were having sex at church campouts and choir trips back in 1975.

There were drugs, alcohol, anything you wanted.
