Media; Because "Twisting" the Facts Creates a "Happy" feel and is much better for ratings. 99% of people involved in the market ONLY KNOW THE LONG GAME ... Even then they only know the long game in a 20 year Bull Market. So, telling them "Long Stories" is good for ratings. I was there in 2000-03; BOUGHT the entire load of CNBS BULL in that time and phucking died : 70%+ loss. That experience taught me that I HAD TO LEARN THE SHORT GAME.
