As mentioned previously it is primarily a money game, secondarily a control game for those in positions of power. As an example of how profitable this is for those who play along ... I recently came across the 'standard' price list of a local hospital that I downloaded from their website. That list showed the price of a 3 mg Ivermectin tablet was $61. So I did a bit of quick math to compare that to a commercial cost of the same drug via our well known horse paste. Tube of Horse Paste = $3.50 Tube treats 1,250 lb of horse at 0.2 mg/kg, so the tube contains: 1,250 / 2.2 * 0.2 = 113.6 mg of Ivermectin in total 113.6 mg is = 38 pills of 3 mg each So the hospital bill for one tube-worth of Ivermectin would be: 38 x $61 = $2,318.00 Hospital charge: $2.318.00 Tractor Supply charge: $3.50 You can literally buy 662 tubes of Ivermectin paste for the same cost as one tube-worth of pills from the hospital. (Not that the hospital would ever use Ivermectin, but you get the point.) Medicine in general has become nothing more than a life extending extortion racket in this day and age. The exceptions to that observation exist, but they are hard to find and becoming more so as time goes by. This has also been well documented by TG in numerous posts regarding the mathematically certain implosion of medicaid/medicare in the not-too-distant future. The only thing likely to change that is a complete implosion of the current medical/political structure to the point where everything has to start over. Until competence becomes the underlying basis of cost, there is no way to return to sanity. The beatings will increase until morale improves. 2021-03-27 10:31:05
