On the pizza comment. Wife and I went out to restaurant last week. We normally do not as the cost and quality of food is far better dining at home.|
So we go to an Italian place in Libertyville, karl knows where that town is, and the two of us order appetizer salads and a 14 inch veggie thin crust pizza, no drinks.
Bill with tax and tip is 37 bucks. I had a I told you so moment with wife but we agreed no more. Yeah, we are in our 70s and got sticker shock over thin crust pizza.
Karl, we moved to lake cty 20 years ago to get away from tumult of Cook cty and property taxes on new house then were more than our cook cty house. Today thats reversed.
We are here because our kids and grandkids are here and one of them is trying to find a way to move adecent sized business thats expanding unit wise and that is a difficult task.
