The largest medical political lobby in the country (AMA) owns the rights to the codes and are enforcing a monopoly because they had laws passed prohibiting other system. Now what few INDIVIDUALS are getting rich from this system at the top of the fraud/monopoly pyramid? Of course there is no published list for the PUBLIC to easily verify the billing for when some obscure code shows up. It's just more ways to hide the fraud.
