About 27,000 State of Iowa employees get 100% free, all inclusive, health care courtesy of the tax payers.

Think they're concerned about cost?

Hell no, it's all free!

New Republican Governor wants them to pay 20% of the premium...unions crying out like a stuck pig...no way, unfair...BS!

Quote:
Iowa’s state employees would be required to pick up 20 percent of their health care costs under a demand Gov. Terry Branstad will make during union negotiations this year...If successful, it would cost state workers roughly $46.3 million a year

So, 20% is $46 million...that means the State of Iowa is spending $230 million a year just on health insurance premiums...MARTHA!...and every time I turn around my property taxes go up because of "Budget shortfalls" within the city and state? We had the money to build a $32 million library though...WTF...who checks out/reads paper books? It must be really nice spending other people's money like that...

Q: Who's the state of Iowa's insurance company?

A: Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Q: What companies CEO raked in an $11 million salary last year?

A: Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Q: Who just built a 600,000-square-foot five-story building at a cost of $250,000,000 to process those insurance claims.

A: Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Not long after completing the building, they stabbed everyone with 10 to 30% premium increases...public outcry big time...they actually claimed that premium money was not used to construct the building...that's how stupid they think we are...
