Help me here. I thought when Zimmerman was on the phone with the police, he reported that Martin was walking off in a direction that later proved to be the apartment of a friend or girlfriend. The fight was not outside that apartment, but was closer to Zimmerman's truck and the mailboxes. Why did the fight occur where it did rather than near the apartment if Zimmerman was actively pursuing Martin? It seems that Martin returned to attack Zimmerman instead of minding his own business. He could have gone to his destination and called the police if he thought he was in danger. It certainly sounds like an assault by Martin on Zimmerman. BTW, having your head banged on concrete is non-trivial. 2012-05-16 09:39:43
