The only thing that needs to change is benevolence at the Federal level needs to be abolished as it was pre-FDR (actually pre-Harding). Every budget issue is related to Federal Benevolence. We still had democrats and republicans prior to this, and plenty to fight about. But deficits were largely war related, and payed off quickly. 2012-05-07 13:43:47
