Physical keyboard phones are going the way of standard non-smart phones. There just isnt a market any more for it. Blackberry has been producing the new bolds and curves and guess what- THEY have buttons. Why arent they selling? |
Market demands fast phones with full featured entertainment capabilities with average to large screens. (3.5'' to 4.5'') They also demand thin and solid feeling phones. Show me a phone that is not a slider that fits the bill for this?
I see inside of how businesses work with wireless devices. I am telling you now, tablets are the way business are migrating. They are equipping their employees with tablets and smart phones. Physical keyboards mean errors, of course- but light weight communication devices are a priority over having to lug around a laptop. Most companies are outfitting employees with tablets and sleeves with built in blue tooth keyboards for the old fogies that cant hack a softkeyboard. (im one of the ones who prefers having a keyboard for long e-mails and sensitive data.
desktops are making a comeback. (i believe imac sales were up, no?)
tablets new laptop of our generation.
