Tickerguy Is Right Again (ObamaCare $17 Trillion Hole)

And another one for the "I told you so" bin...

Senate Republican staffers continue to look though the 2010 health  care reform law to see what’s in it, and their latest discovery is a massive  $17 trillion funding gap.

“The more we learn about the bill, the more we learn it is even more  unaffordable than was suspected,” said Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, the  Republicans’ budget chief in the Senate.

“The bill has to be removed from the books because we don’t have the money,” he said.

smiley

Back when this bill was being debated I pointed out that there would be no "cost savings" and that ultimately there could only be one end-point -- a single-payer system like Canada has -- from the path being pursued.

Now it's on the table; the idea that we're going to come up with $17 trillion in additional tax money is ludicrous.  We're not.

Then again, I read that entire monstrosity.

How many of these jackasses in Congress did before they voted on it?
