RTFfan, if Comcast's move is "genius", (to repeat Xorbe comments) the genius is in the idea that it has a fair chance of crushing Netflix, after which they can raise the price due to lack of competition. Remove a competitor (especially a troublemaker because of their bandwidth use) and open the door to a big captive audience -- what's not to like? Rather like the anecdotes you hear of WalMart coming to town, smothering half the businesses, and then raising prices because they can, due to lack of competition. Tully 2012-02-23 09:50:30
