Agreed Asimov. I've ponder this very thing long and hard before many medical advancements. What is needed is a sliding scale on human life, especially since the human genome has been sequenced. If we define life as beginning at conception, then just add/remove a few sequences and GMO people....cue BLADERUNNER opening theme. Allow medical technology to determine what's viable, you automatically close the door on that nonsense and these endless stupid laws that will lead in the same direction as the other option will cause.
