I'm an X'er and I sure as hell don't believe in Obama's hype. I've been ****ed over numerous times through out my career and it hasn't been until the last several years that I fully understood why. By and large it is the boomers who ****ed things up, but I don't truly subscribe the generational archetypes. I think the malaise of the Xers you're talking about is more due to feeling powerless and disenfranchised. |
The bezzle is not going to stop through the political process...that process is horribly corrupt. We are going to be lucky if we don't get an American Hitler via a military coup. That's where this is all headed because the political process is broken...period. I used to think that we could change things from local level up and I'm still somewhat encourged by the county sherriff's movement to stand up to the Fed .gov, but I don't feel there is enough time for that to work before we hit the wall.
