^^ Because it's just too bizarre that "they" could possibly have put someone who is ineligible in a position to be run, much less be elected. There are checks and balances for that, for goodness sakes! This could not possibly have slipped through the cracks. Therefore, I am an idiot (not quite my husband's words, but close enough).
