from the brief at http://obamareleaseyourrecords.blogspot..... so they are now saying that he lacks standing - and people voted for Obama - and he can show no injury - so who cares ! If that is the case, then why do we just strike out those portions of the Constitution that may present an inconvenience for some. so how about these - Do they mean anything at all ? If a representative or senator was voted in "by the people" but was in 18 years old, or is not a US citizen, or does not reside in the district or State in which he was elected, there is nothing that can be done, as using the logic above, no one has standing and there is no injury ? That are arguing that The constitution is: Toilet paper. -- Requirements to be a US representative At least 25 years of age. a citizen of the United States for at least seven years prior to election. a resident of the state he or she is chosen to represent. Requirements to be a US senator at least 30 years old. a U.S. citizen for at least nine years at the time of election to the Senate. a resident of the state one is elected to represent in the Senate.
