I suspect that as investor outrage grows, this will go political. "So, Mr. Romney, do you believe it should be legal for a brokerage to mingle customer assets with their own and if the company goes BK should stand behind creditors for recovery?" (I'd ask Mr. Obama, but the answer is obvious).
