Weird. For 2010 I have tax receipts as $2.16 trillion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Stat.... and interest payments as $414 billion (http://treasurydirect.gov/govt/reports/i.... This would mean that interest payments are already 19% of revenue.
