Tienkou, We may hate bankers but we should not allow that to cloud our judgement. Who exactly should the sheriff arrest? Under your home invasion scenario, the people who actually did the work would be arrested. Joe sixpac is a student going to school part time. To make ends meet, he works part time jobs. This works out great for the "bank moving company" which has a varying load capacity depending on the banks volume. Joe sixpac now has a job. Unknown to Joe Sixpac, someone did not cross the I's and dot the T's and really screwed up. Joe performs his job in good faith and because of someone else's screw up gets arrested and now has a criminal record. If we did not hate bankers on this site and came accross the story of Joe Sixpac who was arrested, we would present it as a travesty of justice! Would the citizens of Hernando County be served? The way around this is to have all the "bank moving companies" employees become licenced movers where they have to have personal direct knowledge of the trail of paperwork etc. Not practical at all. The responsible person who placed the order is out of state. If there were to be a criminal action taken, it should be against that person. Because nobody is served harming otherwise innocent people, it is only right to handle it as a civil matter. 2011-07-08 17:31:19
