I read one of the latest John Mauldin emails. In it he proposes the GSE's lease out the homes they own. Does he have any idea what that will do to the rental market? Also, the rental market is full of people that don't have credit to buy houses or the financial stability to buy them. Half the applications I have taken the past 3 years have been fraudulent, some of them I rented to. A renter can totally **** up a house in 3 months or less.
