What we need to do is ban politicians from acting like they invented the internet. In fact, I would say that if you are in office, there should be a special proxy for you. |
Who is this serving? The few or the many?
If something like this would be done, there also needs to be a public database that shows why a site got banned and for what reason.
How big does the burden of proof have to be before you strike a domain from the list? What if I as an employee or a solitary user, get the domain name of my company banned? There are so many legal problems with this that it boggles my mind that these people even can pronounce "internet", much less use it.
One IP can represent many users. This is corporate greed making us jump through more hoops. It's okay if they complicate the process to get what they want.
