I seriously doubt the originators have the notes and really suspicious that the warehouse lenders would either. Gen - You keep saying "empty box" and I just don't see it. Where does it say the notes have to be in the possession of the REMIC? From what I read a simple contract interest in the mortgages are sufficient for a "qualifying mortgage" in a REMIC. 2010-10-04 22:36:11
