Here is a link to another interesting perspective on labour and Labour Day from an op-ed piece by Robert B. Reich in the NY Times. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/03/opinio.... Although it is titled "How to End the Great Recession", I believe his recommendations range from insufficient to just plain wrong. Nonetheless, his perspective on wage erosion over the past few decades and how people coped is very interesting. 2010-09-06 11:34:18
