An acquaintance told me that she was going to the VA to get her 5th jab/booster and that they haven't hurt her so far. I don't waste my time or breath trying to dissuade anyone from getting the clot shots. I'll say a silent military farewell to them: Alpha, Mike, Foxtrot.

There are over 200 and counting known respiratory viruses that cause common colds and Influenza Like Illnesses. They mutate enough than having multiple infections over time from any one of them is why there is no cure for them.

My question would be what was the test used to determine it was Covid-19. The standard test is still the PCR. If so it is possible they tested positive because of the cycle count and it was one of those other viruses that hit them.

Hadn't thought of that, my first covid came with lost of taste and smell with a positive store bought covid test, that produce my antibodies. This time around, no lost of taste or smell with 3 store bought covid test, first 2 negative.

This second time for me, if it was covid, starting to doubt it, was worse then my first. But in any case Ivermectin kicked its ass, 3-4 days and feel 80% better.

Re: MMR vaccine.

My son (3 and a half) had it 2 days ago. Was a bit poorly yesterday and last night took a seizure and stopped breathing for about 40 seconds before he came round and we went to get his heart checked out at the local paediatric hospital. Scary as hell watching your kid look like they're about to check out right in front of your eyes.

They do mention it as a 1 in 1,000 or so's chance that this may happen in the two weeks following taking the jab, and I'd make the same decision again as overall this is likely a vaccine worth taking, but no vaccine or medical intervention is without its risks.

Fuck the flu jab or the COVID vaccines though. Each and every medical intervention needs to be assessed individually on its own merits. Being pro or anti all vaccines is just plain dumb - although I completely understand the lack of trust from some towards the medical establishment generally.

@foreveryoung,

I'm a glutton for punishment. One guy told me "Which I will, because I'm not an arrogant idiot that thinks he knows better than the doctors. Fuck off, and have a shitty day"

That was in response to me telling him to go get that jab.

It's rather glorious when you think about it. The world needs a good cleansing. I just hope these new shots are just as safe and effective as the last.

First off, just wanted to say thanks for the Ticker KD. This is an oasis of sanity in clown world. I am a long time visitor to this site. Many, many year now.

When this mess first started, my wife and I actually listened to the hours of audio regarding the FDA review process. We read everything we could get our hands on. The data from the get-go was terrible. Damning really. And the media and government spun it into in-our-faces outright lies. I have a "friend" who is a doctor and even he fell for it. He tried to brow beat me into getting jabbed using the old "appeal to authority" crap. I had to eventually tell him my decision to refuse the jab was actually a deliberate and fact-based decision as opposed to ignorance. I am waiting to see what his opinion will be soon enough. lol. Our decision continues each day to be more well founded.

There are a lot of people out there who simply don't know what we know. And a lot of people who are in denial. When the evidence is simply screaming at them in the face, a lot of people are going to lose their marbles I think. It will be an existential crisis for them and their loved ones. I can only hope they aim the coming rage at those who did this.

And for what it is worth, I will never forgive anyone who suggested the unvaxxed should be shunned, fired, have their kids taken away, etc. They are dead to me. And might wind up actually dead as a result of thier decision. The evidence is continuing to show damage to the immune system. And it would be a tragedy of epic proportions if the damage can be passed on to unborn children.

Regarding the MMR vaccine:

An MMR vaccine was required for employment when I joined my current employer. They didn't just jab you though, they did a blood test and if were previously vaxxed yet had no titre you needed to get the vax again.

They tested me and whatever they were looking at was zero, so I had to take the shot to get the job.

Come to find out, there was a period of time in the 60s (I was born in 64, will be 59 in 2 weeks) when the MMR shots either weren't any good or didn't last or something like that.
That was approximately the window in which I'd received it as a kid.

My maternal grandmother died of heart failure about 2 years after a mumps infection which apparently was the start of her heart problems, so I'm not too sorry to have gotten a 2nd MMR.
I do wonder though, that if challenged with no titre I'd have been able to fight it off anyway but that is water under the bridge.

The problem with conventional vaccines (not the Covid-19 ones) is the use of adjuvants. The basis reaction mechanism of vaccination makes sense. You use an antigen that is similar to that you want to vaccinate against and it stimulates your adaptive immune system to respond to it. So far, so good. The problem is that compounds called adjuvants are added to vaccines. No one knows how these work or why they are necessary. The underlying reaction mechanism of how adjuvants (e.g. molecular biology) has never been parsed out. What we do know is adjuvants alone, without the vaccine itself, cause autoimmunity problems in laboratory animals. I believe all of the problems (autism, autoimmunity, cancers, etc.) with the regular vaccines are due to the adjuvants themselves and not the "vaccine" part of the vaccine.

Something to note is that "placebos" given in vaccine trials are not true placebos (e.g. saline solution). Rather, they contain all of the adjuvants used in the vaccine itself. Thus, all vaccine trials are fraudulent.

Unvaxxed lab rat here. I ate lunch with my vaxxed and maximum boosted family this Wednesday. This morning I get the I got the Rona phone call. Grabbed the horse paste. Today I identify as a 250 pound horse. Gulp! Annoyed my wife by running around and shouting WIIILLBUUR a lot. We will see. I sat right next to the Rona infected person. I will also up the vitamin D to 10,000 units per day for a week.

This may sound weird, but, part of me hopes I get it. I have crushed every cold and flu for years by taking 1 to 5 grams of vitamin C per hour, backing off the dosage when diarrhea happens. Will megadose C work on Covid? If I get it, I will test and report back. End message from plague rat number 1955.

I got delta variant back in January 2021. It was nasty. I slept a lot. Lost my taste for a bit. Otherwise, no long-term issues. Since then I have been in direct contact with people who have subsequent variants and so far I have not gotten sick at all. Same for my wife and kids.

My mother however is a straight-up vaccine injury. I am sure of it. Suddenly developed sudden horrific peripheral neuropathy after getting third or fourth booster, despite not being diabetic. It has been downhill since.

Baby boomer wave of retirement seems to be the target. Too many promises made that won't be kept. To KDs point, the sickcare system is well into crashing the economy. Pension system in a lot of states is right behind it. Just wait until some of the big cities go belly up and Fire/EMS/Police find out they will be lucky to get 10 cents on the dollar for retirement.

Just a friendly reminder loss of taste or smell is not unique to SARS CoV-2. You probably used a rapid antigen test. The test contains CV antigens and when you add your blood the antibodies in it bind to the antigens and cause the color change to occur.

@Lizardqueen -- correct Liz. This is why in the Northeast in the late 80s and early 90s colleges and universities started requiring the MMR for incoming freshmen. This started their vax interest as they lost sight of the original reason. It would spread on a lag across the country a few years later which is why Karl did not experience this during his days in school or employment.

Actually my family physician was not too sure if adults would be the best candidate for this second dose since they were intended immune reactions for childhood. My titre was adequate, so i did not take it, however many places were not accepting said and merely wanted a second adult dose. With my SLE i would have had a fight since the following year they stopped accepting titre. Then the requirements became a routine thing as the movement started forgetting the initial reason if it could have been called a valid one anyway.

Someone mentioned South Korea and in another thread i mentioned same report, unverified. Given where i got it, can say something for sure which i am getting via reports from close Korean friends. We should be concerned, seriously concerned, photoguy bad...

My friends report to me that the blame for this is being pinned on the Americans in regular conversations. This means that their leaders are going to be forced to reflect what the people are saying and later demanding. Plus, it benefits world leaders to find someplace to shift the blame. This mess is going to be a game of hot potato. Guess who is going to be left holding the spud.

The world will turn on us for this and the truth coming out both validates in unmolested form, and then it will further be bent. Then all of our past sins get brought in as evidence of a pattern.

This all happens when we least need it.

Any adversary of ours might be able to garner at least disinterest from the world community if it plays this right.

Stop worrying about the economy, supply issues, race and ethnic relations, your retirement, etc. Be concerned that some who have a beef with us and possess a combination of Psychopathic tendencies of boldness, meanness and disinhibition might find reason to become a problem from organized terrorism all the way to war and worse as a sock-puppet of a larger entity just waiting for its chance to make its Psychopathic animus towards us open.

Friends come and go. Enemies accumulate, especially when they are former friends who feel like and can act like they were betrayed.

This COVID-BS and poison dart treatment, WE DID THIS.

Now we are going to pay.

I'm on Day 3 of a very mild head cold. Slight runny nose, infrequent cough, sneezing, scratchy throat. Got a small amount of phlegm build up started in the lungs while sleeping over night, but nothing serious. Hardly even an annoyance really.

Immediately started with horse paste, H2O2 nebulizer, zinc lozenges, Vit C, Vit D, etc. Pre-2020 this would have been a "go to work" type deal and nobody would have thought twice about it.

I took two days of sick leave in order to avoid triggering the Covid Police and all the mandated punishment involved. Testing (nope, not gonna do it), masking (ditto), isolation (ie. use more leave).

Better to take a couple days off for unstated reasons and return without widespread knowledge I had a mild cold. Never happened, see?

I guess the bright side is I've added another natural antibody to my personal collection for whatever it was. Well, that and spoiling myself with ice cream while I was 'sick'. :-)

We're at about 3 years since the jabs began and this is what we are seeing as a result. What about the long-term effects? The long-term effects will occur after 5 years.

These results could be due to Antibody Dependent Enhancement (ADE) and/or Original Antigenic Sin (OAS), also known as immune priming. Immune priming may not confer full immunity to pathogens so subsequent exposure to the pathogens may result in more serious outcomes than the first exposure.

@Unwashed @Chemman

Loss of the sense of taste/smell is one symptom of Zinc deficiency.

Given the body's increased use of zinc in fighting colds, it's not impossible that there's insufficient amounts of zinc remaining to make the taste/smell thing happen.

Try zinc lozenges if a cold messes up your taste/smell. It's not likely to hurt and it might help. Just don't go hog wild.

Regarding variants: Jessica Rose posits that, mathematically, the variant mutations in these approximately monthly waves are lab releases to test what the mutations do. Particularly as each new release reverses the previous mutations to focus on something else. If true - wow. Beyond possibility given the last few years? Nope.

How the mRNA COVID cartel marketed the whole "COVID causes you to lose taste and smell!!! Oh no!!!" is a pile of horsesh!t fear-porn stupidity. Sure it does/did, so can influenza.

I got H1N1 in '09 and it knocked me on my arse, HARD. Taste, smell, bones, heck my eye lashes even hurt. THAT was a bad flu. Sickest I've ever been.

I also refused anti-virals, sweated thru it, and didn't catch a respiratory flu for 12 yrs after that, till I got COVID (I think) in '21. I was sick, yeah, food tasted weird, but NOTHING like H1N1.

COVID? Bah, look at the numbers. It hit some people hard. 99% of us it was the flu or less.

Taste/smell... wah. Onwards.

"Don't forget to get your COVID vaccine this fall!"

Line up, sh!tlibs... free "vaccines".
